Cairns Hotels with Gym

Although it is far from the city center, there are many playgrounds, including three pools, so elementary school students can play all day. You can cook your own meals in the room, so I grilled some Aussie beef steaks I bought at the supermarket on the gas stove in the facility and ate them. You can get to the city center by bus, so you don't need a taxi. I would like to visit again.

The room isn't huge, but it's perfectly adequate. The twin beds were a bit small for two adults, making it a bit snug. Overall, it's a good place with an excellent location. You can walk to the Rainforest Train, the Great Barrier Reef boat tours, and catch a bus to Palm Cove – everything is within walking distance. Popular restaurants and the night market are also just a stroll away. Getting a taxi is super convenient too. They even have drinking water available in the lobby. The only minor issue is the soundproofing; you can hear the shower from the next room quite clearly. Housekeeping was great, and I'd still recommend it overall.

Excellent hotel in a great location. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. The warm chocolate cookie at check-in was delicious and a lovely welcome after our flight. Convenient for the Esplanade, restaurants and tours. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return. We also enjoyed the beautiful views, relaxing atmosphere and convenient facilities. Everything made our trip more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cairns.

My husband and I had a great stay at BreakFree Royal Harbour! We were pleasantly surprised by how close we were to all of the spots we were wanting to visit. When leaving the ground floor, you exit right onto the Esplanade! I’ve included a picture of the Ferris Wheel view from our window!

The Executive Seaview Room was excellent value for money. The room had ceilings over 3 meters high, which made it feel incredibly spacious. The breakfast and dinner, along with all-day tea, snacks, and evening drinks, were all of a very high standard. We stayed for 3 nights, and there were no repeated dishes. The Executive Lounge is on an exclusive floor, so there were no other guests to disturb us, making it quiet and the restaurant uncrowded. The hotel also thoughtfully provided complimentary champagne and chocolates packaged from Cairns. Furthermore, the hotel's location is superb, within walking distance to the pier, city center, and night market, which is extremely convenient.

The staff were incredibly friendly. Also, I felt very secure and at ease knowing that a card key was required to enter both the hotel entrance and the rooms, which is a great security feature. The $10 dinner at the attached pub, which was pizza when I went, had a crispy crust and was absolutely delicious – I was extremely satisfied.

This place is perfect for long-term stays or for those renting a car! ♥ I stayed in a room with a kitchen and washing machine because I wanted to cook with local ingredients in Cairns. There's a Coles (supermarket) nearby, so I had no trouble finding food and drinks. The glasses, cups, cutlery, pots, rice cooker, and various cooking utensils were all perfectly stocked. 🤗 Things I brought from Japan for the kitchen: ↓ Chopsticks, plastic spoons, forks Salt, pepper, herb salt Yakiniku sauce Dressing (small convenience store size) Wakame soup (instant) Wasabi Cooking oil Mentsuyu (noodle soup base) Dish soap About 20 small garbage bags for food waste About 20 plastic bags that can hold two 2-liter bottles Alcohol wet wipes (25 sheets) *Can be used for cleaning 🫩 Things I didn't particularly use: ↓ Plastic spoons and forks 🥲 Things I wish I had brought: ↓ Sponge Steel wool Instant miso soup (I had it ready but forgot to bring it 😣) 👙 Regarding the Pool 🌴 There are 3 pools, one of which is heated. Please bring towels from your room. Regarding Trash. There's a trash disposal area near the entrance. No sorting is required, so just put everything in. 🫙🥫🍎🐟️ 🚘️ Regarding Parking 🚙 The rule is to park wherever there's an empty spot. What if there's no space? (lol) It was crowded, but I managed to find a spot. 🧺 Regarding the Washing Machine 👕👖 I brought gel laundry detergent pods. I did laundry twice during my 5-night stay. There wasn't a dedicated place to hang clothes on hangers, but I managed to dry them somehow. There were some drying options, but not enough. I think there were about 12 hangers in the room. At check-in, there was a Japanese staff member at reception, which was a great help. 💆 Reception hours are Mon-Fri 7 AM - 7 PM. I forgot the weekend hours. 😓 *As mentioned above, early check-in is not possible, so for those arriving early in the morning, I recommend staying one night at a hotel that offers early check-in.

This is the best value accomodation in Cairns in my experience, Ingrid the receptionist was very friendly and helpful I arrived early and they still checked me in and gave me a free upgrade from a standard room to an apartment, the location is excellent only a very short walk to the esplanade and amazing restaurants, free private parking available (although it is limited to availability) I think this will be my preference for staying in Cairns city from now on.

The location was excellent. It was close to the ferry terminal, just a few seconds' walk from the Esplanade public pool, two minutes from the night market, and across the street from a supermarket—it was a fantastic location. However, apart from the location, the only other positives were the water dispenser next to the front desk, the ability to smoke on the balcony, and the ability to watch YouTube and Netflix on the TV in your room. The only negatives were the sheets and towels, which were unsanitary. The towels were stained and smelled bad, and the sheets smelled damp. The bathroom shower had incredibly weak water pressure, making it take a long time to rinse. The drainage was so poor that I asked the front desk for a replacement, and they fixed it while I was out, which improved it, but I still wish they'd done something about the water pressure. The on-site pool had a jacuzzi, but it wasn't very warm and wasn't very good. While the daytime staff were generally friendly and nice, the elderly man who came at night was overbearing and never smiled, which I found annoying. Having lived in Australia for about a year, I thought my English skills were good enough, but even after listening to him twice I still didn't understand what he was saying, and when I asked him to repeat himself he said ”That's enough,” and then ended the conversation. To be honest, it made me feel uncomfortable. I remember not being so dissatisfied when I stayed at the nearby Mantra Trilogy a long time ago. I don't have any plans to go to Cairns for a while, but I don't think I'll choose this hotel again. Thank you to the staff for your kind assistance.

Cairns Central Plaza Apar**ent Hotel is located in the city center. The surrounding environment is quite good. It is close to a large supermarket (across the road), the train station for traveling to Kurland Forest (5 minutes walk), and even the cruise company for visiting the Great Barrier Reef is only 15 minutes walk. It is really convenient. There is a kitchen with all the kitchenware. You can cook delicious food, enjoy the scenery, and take beautiful photos. It is so beautiful. I want to book it again, maybe next year...
