Facilities: The facilities in the room are relatively old, and the soundproofing is indeed not very good, but other hotel facilities such as the gym are good
Food: Both meals are buffets, the quality is OK, breakfast is basically the same, dinner changes every night, there is barbecue, I recommend ordering beef liver! Lunch is paid, the taste is average...
Service: Except for the average front desk, the service awareness of the rest of the waiters is OK, and English can be communicated normally
The location is also good, very close to the beach, and there are not many people on the beach in front of the hotel. Generally speaking, it is ok to stay

Sofitel Agadir Thalassa Sea & Spa The hotel itself is beautiful, with stunning grounds and well-maintained pools. The room was also excellent, featuring a very comfortable bed. However, the hotel’s service left much to be desired, particularly in the restaurants. Despite the presence of plenty of staff, the service was inefficient and disorganized. Requests were often forgotten, requiring follow-ups, and sometimes items simply never arrived. For a five-star hotel, this level of service is simply unacceptable. It felt as though the staff were more focused on avoiding their responsibilities than attending to their guests. Waiting far too long just to receive a menu, having to prompt for drink orders, and then waiting an excessive amount of time for food were consistent issues. Even when the restaurants were quiet, the food took an unreasonably long time to arrive, and there were frequent mistakes. For example, a Caesar salad arrived without dressing, and the dressing only arrived once the salad was nearly finished. Unfortunately, there was no attempt to correct the issues or offer an apology, and no adjustments were made to the bill. This seems to be the standard level of service rather than an exception. If the hotel wishes to charge European city prices, it needs to deliver service that matches or exceeds the expectations associated with those prices. As it stands, this experience would deter me from returning.

Hotel is in a great position, 5 mins to the beach and beach front restaurants. Rashid organised a couple of trips for us which were great. Room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels, small balcony, sadly ours didn't get the sun! Pool area had plenty of sunbeds, lovely pool but cold at this time of year, we did vrave it though! Breakfast was fine, we didn't have any other meals as we like to go out and eat. We would stay again, a great place for some winter sunshine.

Kitchen staff brilliant they helped me everytime I asked for baby milk bottle to be washed and filled with milk. Everything was good. Nothing bad to say about. Location great. The Hotel and Complex were pleasant, the grounds well kept with trees, fountains and hedges plenty of greenery. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a nice variety but on one occasion I noticed that the Chef tried the milk and then removed it!!! I had just eaten my cereal on which I had poured the milk, so was concerned that it might have caused an issue!! Although comfortable both our room and the Hotel could use a little freshening up, splash of paint. But as we just had the B&B option we were out most of the time Two pools both well kept and with plenty of room around for relaxing and a bar for food and drinks. All in all a good time.

Unbelievable how good the hotel was, such a perfect service and every single person in the hotel was all the time ready to help. 24/7 roomservice and the rooms are perfectly clean. A perfect team for the activities at the pool and even by the bar, every night after the dinner a beautiful activity.
Only one bad point is that the pool was very cold.
Perfect view from the room.
I enjoyed my vacation and if u want to enjoy every second of your vacation just go for Atlas Amadil.

I am absolutely amazed at the High ratings this hotel gets! It is a lovely hotel & pool area. Most of the staff are great, and if you are lucky enough to get a nice room you will be happy. If you get an odd number room in block 1, you won't be. This was a treat for my wife's 70th birthday, which the hotel was pre advised by easyjet. We arrived late morning and was told we would have to wait (understandably) for our room to be prepared, which will be about 2 hours. I, naively, assumed that a nice room with a bottle of wine maybe, was being arranged as a little treat for my wife. After 3 hours I was given a key for room 1237. I will state now, there is only I lift in each of these blocks, right at the end of a long corridor furthest from reception. There was no one at that time to help with our large heavy suitcases, so off we struggled and when we got to the room our hearts sank. These rooms ovelook a dirty rubbish strewn street opposite a hotel renovation with the jackhammers going. Straight back to reception where all the young girl could say was I booked a room with a balcony? True I did, but I had requested a quite room with a balcony overlooking the pool for my wife's special occasion and this was the best they can do? She admitted she had only been doing reception for 2 months and seem to have no thought for the older guests. After about 10 minutes of back and forth, I asked for a manager and magically they found a really nice ground floor room. Having been to 2 of the Riu's in Agadir, they are much more accommodating.Food is 70% Moroccan tangine,20% pasta, 10% chips etc. Nice but very repetitive, breakfast was the same as most all inclusive hotels, it was like most of the dishes were just refilled from lunch to dinner apart from a slight change of the poor quality main meat offering. We love our food but by the third day we we were not loving this anymore. This was the dearest all inclusive hotel we have ever booked for our 4th visit to Agadir, which we love. Never again!

We have had a beautiful holiday in Zephyr Agadir. The Apar**ents modern style and are well equipped. The staff is always helpful and friendly. There are many ways to go to delicious food nearby, small supermarkets are accessible by foot.
I'll certainly book the accommodation again when I'm back in Agadir.

Excellent
GGuest UserWe have ordered Senior Suite, but have been placed in Royal Suite! It was a beautiful apar**ent with the ocean view, a big balcony, massive bathrooms and even walk in wardrobe. We only had 1 night, but it would be lovely to stay there for longer. Everything was very clean and kitchen annex was reasonably equipped. There is a lovely swimming pool which we were allowed to use after we checked out. The downside was to see ants walking on the floor( nobody was bitten, but my wife was very uncomfortable with the presence those little creatures in our bedroom). The breakfast also did not match the room quality, so they have a lot of room for improvement.
Positives: Hotel and room very clean, room cleaned, fresh towels daily and beds made. Rooms have balcony and good amenities fridge, microwave, hairdryer, kettle, etc. Breakfast was surprisingly good (after reading bad reviews) no fried breakfast but plenty of selection from cereal, bread/toast, omelettes, pastries, x3 kinds of pancakes, porridge, etc. Negatives: Lunch/Evening menu food was very poor, do not upgrade it tasted so cheap and nasty. No Bar! However, there is an off license across the road (Victoria's) so we bought beers and drank them in room/ by the pool but very few alcohol licenced places in general in Agadir. Beds in rooms are so hard. Neutral: location was about 15/20 min walk to beach downhill (there). There's a square for restaurants and a kids park / inflatable area about 5 minute walk. Local area is nice we found things spaced apart so hired a car for 2 days at £25 per day (300Mhr/day). No hotel shop but hotel next door has one and a much nicer cafe/restaurant. Just to note if coming with kids like we did, Agadir is not very child friendly, no childrens menus in most places (although plenty of McDs) lots of high pavements (not pushchair friendly) but we've managed and had a good holiday.
AAHMEDAt check-in we got a room with an old-fashioned television, the room did not look good, then we got another room with a smart TV a bit better, but we could not watch TV because the cable was broken, technical service could not fix it luckily I had my own iptv with me with remote control, solved it myself, the staff is very friendly, the breakfast I have today is very good.
Had booked for 2 days, with the first booking I would book including breakfast that went wrong, so I had to have breakfast outside somewhere, today so breakfast included, I also paid double I hope I get the overpaid amount back.
It is nice swimming pools for adults and children, you have to go to the pool early otherwise you do not have a sunbed, they are all occupied.
I thought the stay was okay.
HHUIThe location of the hotel is very good, there are many shops and restaurants around the hotel; the hotel has its own parking lot, which is convenient for people traveling by car; the environment 1 of the hotel, especially the greenery, is very good; but for the four-star positioning hotel, the hotel The facilities are a bit dated and humble, and domestic Samsungs are much better than this. Especially the bed was particularly uncomfortable and too soft, but the area of the room was quite large; breakfast was ok, there were many Europeans and Americans, the international atmosphere was good, and Wifi was particularly fast!
BBoujibarSaharThe appartement was so pretty and the stuff were helpful and nice the hotel has a good view and the breakfast was amazing I only spent 1 night but it was perfect I’ll definitely go back again
**DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL - SCAM ALERT!** I had an absolutely terrible experience with this hotel and I strongly urge anyone considering staying here to think twice. I booked five rooms well in advance, and despite arriving at the hotel before 11:30 pm, they canceled my booking. Their excuse? They claimed the system was down and couldn't retrieve my reservation. Even worse, I had been in constant communication with their customer service, providing proof of emails that confirmed my arrival—my flight was running late, but I still made it on time. Customer service assured me that my booking was safe. However, when I arrived, the assistant manager had already marked me as a ”no-show” and tried to claim they had no communication from the head office. This hotel essentially **stole our money** for five fully paid rooms and is refusing to give anything back. It's a complete scam. They seem to prefer if you buy the room directly from them at a higher cost rather than through a third-party site. **On top of that, beware of the reviews! Most of them are fake and have been paid for by the hotel to boost their ratings with locals.** **BEWARE: This is a dodgy hotel. Stay somewhere else if you value your time, money, and peace of mind.**
GGuest UserAfter reading all the negative reviews before booking, I was not sure what to expect. I was looking for a cheap budget hotel and the Sud Bahia hotel worked out fine for us. The room was spacious and adequate for us. However the hotel was old and in need of renovation, it was only a 2 star hotel if that. We visited in December so no need for aircon but if you visited in hot months then I would definitely not stay there as there is no air con. The t.v was at least 20 years old if not more but not something we needed so it did not matter. The water is shower was brown for the first few days but did get better, I presumed it was well water and no one stayed in the room for a while. Nice swimming pool but VERY deep and cold, if you have trouble with your knees like I do, then it is also very difficult to get out of because ladders only went a short distance into the pool. Anyway, I would stay there again in the cooler months, we paid for breakfast which was 1 euro extra so was worth it even though it was basic. I would be wary of booking this as part of a package holiday as you are likely to be disappointed. If you are looking for a cheap budget place then it should suit your needs. We found it to be a good location, close to the beach and lots of shops and restaurants close by.
HhqeaavoenamcxxthI have stayed at this hotel previously and left great reviews. However this trip was very different and after 2 weeks I moved out to the hotel next door which is much better. The front of house staff here are delightful, particularly Karima. However staff on the pool bar/ cafe are inexperienced and need training. They also kept running out of wine. I had one pizza lunch here which was dreadful. Breakfast is good. I was allocated one of the refurbished rooms with a sea view. It looked great, although the bathroom was tiny - as I was staying solo, that didn't really matter. Some service issues with room which wasn't cleaned one day, Toiletries were not replaced and I ran out of toilet paper twice. The safety deposit box didnt work. The towels were grey and had many threads hanging off them. Sadly it is currently more of a building site that a hotel- they are working at different sites within the hotel and grounds, and it is impossible to avoid loud building work from 10am to 7pm. Rooms are being completely refurbished - doors and windows and flooring and bathrooms. Consequently lots of drilling and banging. They are also replacing the 2 lifts-- one was out of service and will be for quite some more time. The other is new but went out of service at least three times during my stay- but was quickly repaired. Waiting times for the lift were unacceptable. They were also building a large wooden structure in the gardens. Consequently, 6 days of heavy electric stapling going on ! I think they tried to drown out some of the building noise by playing loud music from 9.30 onwards. It didn't work and the music itself became very irritating ! After dark the noise from the pool bar / cafe is totally unacceptable, as they ramp up the music until 11pm or later. Twice a week they have karioke which really is horrendous- so so load. Terrible voices. Mainly French songs. It really was so bad but they refused my requests to turn the sound down- there only suggestion at 11pm was to move rooms- but that included packing and removing all my clothing , too - so hardly acceptable ! I thought they were just giving me a quiet room to sleep in , but no ! The Internet quality is very poor. It comes and goes even in reception! Do not expect to get connection in your room. Most guests form a huddle in reception to gain an Internet connection. Finally, the pricing. I paid about £40 per night for this hotel for a 2 week booking and a separate 1 week booking. I tried to book for the 4th week but was quoted over €150euros per night ! What ? No way is this even a €100 per night hotel!! In any event I cancelled and moved out after 2 weeks - that was the worst 2 weeks I have ever had in a hotel ! MY advice. Do not stay here!! Please look at photos.
GGuest UserVery Nice People working thier, very helpfull Nice family hôtel with Hugo family rooms. Nice swimming pool and gardens, Near beach from one side and near city centre on tje top area. Will go thier again !!! Nice hôtel and city
