First and foremost, the location of the hotel is fantastic. Situated close to various amenities, I found myself just a short walk away from restaurants, shops, and local attractions. Whether I wanted to grab a quick bite to eat or explore the city's vibrant culture, everything was easily accessible. This convenience truly enhanced my overall experience, making it effortless to immerse myself in the local atmosphere.
One of the standout features of the hotel was its friendly and English-speaking staff. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted by the front desk staff who were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They provided me with detailed information about the hotel facilities, nearby attractions, and even recommended some must-visit places in Haikou. Throughout my stay, the staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met, making me feel valued as a guest.
The rooms at the Hampton by Hilton were modern, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. My room was meticulously clean, with comfortable bedding and a well-appointed bathroom. The inclusion of amenities such as a flat-screen TV, complimentary Wi-Fi, and a coffee maker added an extra layer of convenience and comfort to my stay. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail and the well-thought-out layout of the room, which made it easy to relax after a day of exploring.
Breakfast at the hotel was a delightful experience. The buffet offered a wide variety of options, including both Western and Chinese dishes, ensuring there was something to suit every palate. The quality of the food was excellent, and the attentive staff ensured that everything was well-stocked and maintained. Starting my day with a satisfying breakfast set the tone for a great day of sightseeing.

QquanzzI booked three rooms and stayed at Mission Hills Resort for five nights, where we were served by the duty manager, Mary, throughout our stay.
We were given a complimentary room upgrade, and Mary also helped ensure that our group was located near each other, making it much more convenient for us. Iām especially for her effort in helping us locate a farm around the resort and for reaching out proactively before the trip. She even shared her contacts and responded to some of my queries after office hours, which truly shows her dedication to her work.
Although some parts of the resort are a bit dated and seemed to be undergoing maintenance, it didnāt really affect the overall experience. For the rooms It would be even better if a drawdown curtain or privacy screen could be added to the bathing area or toilet, making it more convenient for larger groups like mine.
This resort is ideal for families with young kids or anyone looking for a great parentāchild bonding (äŗ²åęøø) experience. Thereās a mini pet house with cute and lively animals where children can get up close and cozy with them.
The Childrenās Club ā Squirrel Village offers a wide variety of daily activities for parentāchild bonding. My kids especially enjoyed the activities led by the young and energetic team of hosts (åÆē±, č”č, ē³ę, č„æē, ē©ē©, é³é±¼, and others). They loved it so much that I gave up some of our original itinerary just to let them stay longer, and theyāre still humming and reminiscing about the songs and moments from the club. If I travel to Haikou again, I would certainly return to Mission Hills and include a few more days at the Squirrel Club to spend quality time with my child.
As mentioned in other reviews, we were also served a delicious pot of dessert every night ā a thoughtful and warm gesture that added an extra special touch to our stay.
Thank you, Mission Hills Resort, and especially Mary and her Squirrel team, for making our trip so memorable despite the aging facilities. The kids in our group truly had a wonderful and enjoyable time at the resort, and weāll cherish these moments for a long time.
If i am ever travelling back to Hai Kou for äŗ²åęøø, I would stay in Mission Hills purely for the Squirrel Childrenās Club activities.
Ps, the resort actually had some additional in-room items that could be loaned and i feel that it would be better if they could share ongoing promotions.

Whether you're rushing to the airport or train station, or planning to explore nearby shopping areas and attractions, everything is easily accessible by foot or a short drive. Getting around couldn't be more convenient!
The room cleanliness was a delightful surprise. The bedding was crisp white and so soft, like sinking into clouds. The floors were polished to a shine, making it comfortable to walk barefoot. The bathroom was spotless, free of any odors or stains, with even the corners and crevices perfectly cleaned. It made for an incredibly comfortable and pleasant stay.
The service was equally impeccable. The staff were always welcoming with smiles and incredibly prompt in responding to any needs. Any questions or requests were handled quickly and efficiently. The airport shuttle service was super reliable; the driver waited for us in advance, proactively helped with luggage, and the ride was smooth and comfortable. Absolutely stress-free!
The laundry service was also fantastic. The machines were clean and easy to use, and our dried clothes came back with a delicate fresh scent ā even better than doing laundry at home! For breakfast, the coffee was rich and aromatic, and the toast was perfectly crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside, ideal with jam or butter. Starting each day with such a delightful breakfast truly energized me for the whole day.
From the prime location to every single service, it's clear that a lot of thought and care went into everything. I was absolutely thrilled with my stay and will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit!

The perfectly scented aroma completely dispelled travel fatigue. The room was warmly decorated and clean, and the pillows were especially comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep for someone prone to insomnia. The restaurant on the fourth floor served Southeast Asian-inspired cuisine, and I particularly enjoyed the Hainanese-style salted lemon tea, which was tart and sweet with a hint of salt. My stay at the Mu Nan Hotel has made me want to visit Hainan again. It's a shame I forgot to take photos, but I'll make up for it next time.

It was very comfortable, featuring swings, rocking horses, and spinning chairs for the kids. It's also conveniently close to the airport, just about a ten-minute drive, which meant we didn't have to get up too early. Since we had a larger group and kids with us, the young lady at the front desk specially arranged a bigger room for us. The decor is a new Chinese minimalist style, predominantly white. The room was very spacious, and the 1.5-meter wide bed was perfectly comfortable for two adults and two children. The front desk also kindly provided two extra bottles of mineral water.
The hygiene was excellent; there were no unpleasant odors in the room. It featured large floor-to-ceiling windows, and opening them allowed a very pleasant breeze to flow through. The toilet was spotlessly clean, with no yellowish stains or foul smell. This place is truly great.

What's more, I booked a hotel apartment room this time, and both its spaciousness and the comprehensive amenities provided were a pleasant surprise.
Service: The service truly lived up to Hilton's high standards. The staff were attentive, thorough, and incredibly thoughtful.
Finally, for the areas that could be improved: Given that the hotel was built in 2016, I think the entertainment facilities, among other things, are due for an upgrade. Specifically, the in-room audio-visual equipment didn't support screen mirroring, preventing me from watching my preferred content. It also felt outdated and had some screen distortion. Additionally, the hairdryer wasn't very powerful.
Regarding the breakfast buffet, I personally felt that its variety and taste didn't quite measure up to what I've experienced at similarly-rated Hilton hotels inland. I hope the hotel can make improvements in this area to further enhance the guest experience.

AAnonymous UserThis is my second stay at this hotel; the first was for a business trip, and this time it's a family vacation.
First and foremost, the location is incredibly convenient. Whether you're on an overnight layover for a connecting flight or high-speed train, it's a perfect choice for a one-night rest. It's also ideal if you have a long wait before your flight and prefer to relax in a day-use room rather than the waiting area. This is because it's closest to Terminal 1 and offers a shuttle service to Terminal 2. Getting to Meilan Station (for suburban or island loop lines) is also very convenient.
The hotel rooms are new, clean, and well-equipped.
On the first floor, there's A'Vo's local cuisine restaurant. The food was delicious, with a good variety of dishes and reasonable prices. We even received a discount on our meal this time for being hotel guests, which was a nice bonus.
The staff were also fantastic. Specifically, when we exited the elevator and were looking for our rooms, Zhang Liqin guided us to both, inquired about our needs, and was incredibly thoughtful and genuinely sincere.
I regret not taking pictures of the room or our meals, so I've just included a few other photos from the same period.

Very less Breakfast items. Not much options in Breakfast. No good amenities in room. not even slippers for the shower area.

GGuest UserEverything else is good, but the room facilities are too simple! It's ok that there is no refrigerator or cooker. There is not even a washing machine. What's more embarrassing is that there is no place to hang the clothes after washing!
Double hot spring: It's real, but I didn't have time to experience it, which is a pity!
