Well maintained hotel with spa facilities available. Nice view of the lake. Breakfast was great. Two sessions in afternoon and after 9 pm where free flow of drinks (including alcohols) and light tidbits were served. Big carpark available.

We were assigned an older room that was in dire need of an upgrade. The peeling wallpaper, fraying tatami mat, and sinking mattress made for an uncomfortable stay. The breakfast was decent, but if you're staying for a few days, I suggest rotating your choices, as the offerings remained practically the same throughout our three-day stay. The happy hour at the lounge was crowded, yet it featured a good selection of alcohol, which was a nice perk. However, there isn’t much to explore in the vicinity of the hotel unless you are driving. For a more enjoyable experience, try booking one of the newly renovated rooms. Otherwise, it might be better to seek accommodation in a more centralized location.

Had a night stay at this resort hotel which is peaceful and the room was spacious. The service was excellent and the sauna was clean and excellent.

We checked in late at night, but they were very kind and accommodating. They also accommodated our sudden request for multiple nights, which was a relief. The hotel was very large, and there were many guests even on weekdays. From the ocean view, we could see a beautiful view of Lake Hamana. The spa was also spacious, and we enjoyed a relaxing bath. visited the Grand Mercure Lake Hamana Resort & Spa and were very impressed! The hotel was spotlessly clean, which created a very pleasant feeling of coziness and comfort. Although I was staying without meals, I was able to use the lounge and snacks, alcohol, and coffee were all-you-can-drink, so I didn't have any trouble finding something to drink. We booked a Japanese-style room. The downside is that we had to make the bed the next day. The upside is that I walked around Tokyo before leaving, and my waist was not very comfortable. The lobby and other areas had a very luxurious atmosphere, and although the building was old, it was beautiful! We stayed as a group of three, but an extra bed was provided so we had a comfortable stay. We were very satisfied with the variety of menu items and the deliciousness of the breakfast!! The only thing I can say is that the lounge on the lobby floor and the lounge on the 13th floor, which is only available to guests on the executive floor, had almost the same items on offer, and it was a bit disappointing that beer was served in a paper cup. As for sweets, there were only heart cookies, gummy candy, things like Hi-Chew, eel bones, and ramune. The room was old and the sink was... The breakfast had a wide variety and was delicious. As for the hot spring, the women's bath was great as we were able to enjoy a variety of different types of baths this time, but there was only one type of bath for men. I arrived at 5pm, but had to wait about 30 minutes to check in. The free lounge is only available from 3pm to 6pm and from 9pm to 11pm. Beer is only served until 6pm, and from 9pm only spirits, carbonated water, juice and coffee are available. There were also simple snacks such as dried fruit and eel bones.
