An acquaintance contacted me to "save" her this hotel, the only availability this weekend in a city with maximum capacity due to a series of summer events. By bus and metro, you can reach the central station in about 20 minutes. The building was part of the former customs control, as Wandsbek was a separate town before being integrated into Hamburg. Reception is not open 24/7, anyone can come and go as they please, no one wears masks. There are 4 apartments per floor, everything falling apart, especially in the bathroom, where the tiles are torn to pieces and the furniture completely crooked. The hotel accepts smokers, the rooms stink even with the door to the balcony open. The balcony faces the street and there is no sound insulation. I don't know if breakfast is offered and I didn't even ask! I got a good rate at the Ibis Budget next door and transferred it there, under no circumstances would I recommend staying in this muquifo.
