For such an expensive hotel, there was no service whatsoever. The reception treated me coldly when I had questions and hardly went through important hotel information until i kept asking for it. My family spent hours on the road getting to this hotel, there was no lunch nearby by the time we got there at 2pm, and we weren't informed of the opening hours of their onsite restaurants until much too late. We were left hungry, and we weren't even showed to our rooms and just given a map to find our way. The hotel is huge. There are at least 8 blocks sprawled out across the land. The restaurants are far away from the lobby, at least 2 blocks away each. Only in the evening one staff finally told me that we could use the trolley carts we kept seeing ferrying their own staff. I was livid as i had 2 elderly with me and at no point did any of these carts zooming past us asked if we needed a lift.
On weekends, they stop Didi (cabs) from coming in to the hotel's premises, but they provide a shuttle to drop us off right outside the hotel entrance so we could hail our cabs. We waited for the shuttle. It never came. 2min past the time (12:02PM) I asked the bellboy if the shuttle had left without us. He was alarmed, and made a few calls. It had left. I don't understand, we told the front desk and the bellboy we were waiting for the shuttle. We stood at the front door waiting for the shuttle since 11:50AM. They said the shuttle was not here yet, but it would be on time. But it left? At this point I'm no longer surprised, because it's clear this hotel does not know how to treat their customers. They offered a private service car to bring us to Hangzhoudong railway at 200Y. I had no other choice but to take it, i was having a headache, i have my parents to take care of and luggage too. A Didi premium ride would've only cost me 40Y at the most. But I never wanted to check out of a hotel faster than I did here.
This was the worst hotel in my entire trip. My SGD76 hotel at Disneyland provided me more than you ever did. I will never return. I was the most excited to experience this hotel on this trip but it became the worst experience in my life. You can come if you are a Chinese resident and if you have your own car. If not be prepared to be stranded until you check out.
You will also not get service, so just do everything yourself.

The only service I got here was from the outsourced travel photography company the hotel hired. Mr Domin Song, you were the only silver lining in this nightmare of a hotel. Your photos and professionalism were 5-star. I was very happy to have gotten you as my photographer and you captured my smile even though i was really suffering from this mess.
