Hotels in Xixi Wetland Park, Hangzhou

We received warm welcome. Overall excellent service from hotel staff to the restaurants. We had a happy and enjoyable stay at the Hang Zhou Banyan Tree. Highly recommend this place. After staying at the Hang Zhou Banyan Tree for 3 nights, we went on to stay at the Shanghai on the bund Bayan Tree. We experienced a stark contrast in service from the front desk staff from the bund Banyan Tree. We wondered why they kept stopping us from getting into the room that we have booked for. In the end, we went through changing 3 rooms before they finally gave us the correct facing room. So, beware of the Shanghai on the Bund Banyan Tree and do not believe in the free upgrade or upsize room. We rejected the first corner room only to be given another corner room at the other end that were both warm and uncomfortable. The staff kept assuring us that they were bigger rooms and better view than the Panorama Riverside Retreat-King room that we have booked for but we want the room that we have booked. Why can't they give us the right room in the first place and have to made us go through changing from one room to another. A clear dishonest play here. We missed the Hang Zhou Banyan Tree front desk staff.

It is good to look around because it is near a wetland. There is a restaurant nearby and a nice course for a walk. The bed is comfortable and the blanket is cozy. It is nice because it is located in a place that is not crowded. You can run the washing machine. The dryer is not cleaned. The sound insulation is not soundproof, so the sound of words and doors closing in the hallway is severe. Earplugs are absolutely necessary.

A pleasant and comfortable stay at this lovely hotel. The decor and design of the hotel gives a unique and serene ambience. Service was excellent and staff were friendly and professional. Room is not big but clean and comfortable. The downside is that the room is quite stuffy even in winter cos it seems the hotel turned in the heating system. The hotel provides children’s slippers and toothbrush. There is also a free laundromat with ironing facilities which is really useful especially when travelling with young children. Breakfast variety was acceptable. Location is about 20min from city by car. Overall an excellent stay at this lovely hotel.

This small hotel is located about 800 metres from the Lingying Temple in Hangzhou which makes it an easy walk. There are manr restaurants nearby with a variety of food options. The hotel staff were polite and friendly even though they spoke little English. The rooms were clean and very tastefully decorated. The quality of the toiletries was excellent. The only downside for me was a standard chinese breakfast with no options to choose from. I would stay there again

The hotel is very close to the subway, and the nearby shopping mall has a large flow of people. The room aunt is very enthusiastic, the sanitation is also very clean, the washing machine and refrigerator are all equipped, and free laundry detergent is provided. There are many varieties of breakfast and complete nutrition. There is a large parking lot behind the hotel, and there is a good view. Looking from the window of the room, it is very beautiful and the mood has become better. It is very suitable for family travel. I will come again next time!

Yesterday, I was tired after playing and returned to the hotel. As soon as I opened the door, there was a box of cleaning tools on the sink. We didn’t care at the time. We called the front desk and put the tool box at the door for them to take. Later, we stayed up very late before washing up and lying on the bed. As a result, I lifted the quilt and found blood. I carefully checked if I had any wounds on my body. At most, I had some bruises on my legs, and I didn’t have my period. I don’t know where the blood came from😅😅I thought it was too late at three or four in the morning, so I didn’t call the front desk. As a result, I found that there was blood not only in the quilt, but also on the sheets and quilt covers😅😅😅How did you clean this place? I was too tired from playing the day before and went to bed without looking carefully. Don’t tell me that this blood was there on the day I arrived at the hotel...😅😅And the cleaning towels were not changed yesterday. The used ones were still on the sink. Hello? Where did you go in the middle of your busy work?

I took my kids to Hangzhou on the weekend. I saw a route online and wanted to go to Majiawu-Observation Deck-Beigaofeng-Lingyin. This hotel is very close to Majiawu and you can walk there quickly. The service is good, but the room feels average. The most speechless thing is that the dry and wet basins are independent, and the toilet and bathroom are independent. In the bathroom, there is no place to put clothes except for the shower. The clothes rack is above the toilet. There is no curtain in the shower, only some frosted stickers, which is not enough privacy. There is no clothes rack in the shower room, which is also unreasonable. It is equivalent to taking off clothes outside to take a shower. I don't know if it is just like this for my room type. The price is not low, and I recommend other fast chains.

A cozy homestay with a beautiful environment. The owner is an educated youth from Shanghai. He has a good attitude and gave many itinerary suggestions. I will give priority to this homestay next time I go.

Huajiantang, hidden deep in Xixi Wetland, has a super primitive environment. When you open the window, you can hear the birdsong and the fragrance of flowers, and the green plants are all there. This hotel is pet-friendly, and there are cute cats in the lobby to play with 👍 The room design is also very ”natural”, revealing the original and simple true nature of life. It is suitable for solitude, couples, and parent-child travel. The beverage counter is more sincere in preparing cola, soda water, beer and milk, as well as rose tea, Pu'er and drip coffee bags, and the bedding is also very comfortable. Breakfast is served from 7 o'clock to 10:30, and lazy people don't have to worry about not having breakfast. There are more than a dozen kinds of noodles on order, such as Hangzhou Pianerchuan. Our package also includes travel photography, afternoon tea and welcome fruit. There will be different small handmade activities every day, and free goodnight sweet soup in the evening. It happened that we encountered spring rain during the two days we stayed. We listened to the sound of rain and tasted spring tea. There was also a free travel photography activity after the rain. We strolled in the Xixi Wetland in the rain, admired the plum garden and bamboo forest, and explored the small bridges and flowing water. It was a slow life with children. The staff of our store were also very kind and friendly. They actively helped us solve the difficulties we encountered. The room was clean, the service was thoughtful, and they interacted with the children in a very kind and friendly way, allowing us to fully experience the joy of this trip. There is a 1.8-meter bed upstairs and a 1.5-meter tatami downstairs. The layered rest is very reasonable. The biggest advantage: the room is very quiet! My parents didn't hear any noise all night and rested well. Three practical experiences for reference: 1️⃣ About breakfast: The room is a triple room configuration, but only two breakfasts are included by default. We spent another 38 yuan to buy an extra one. It is recommended that the hotel consider matching three triple rooms. 2️⃣ About the bathroom: The shower room and toilet are separated, which is good. But the glass doors of the two areas are transparent, which will be inconvenient for family members to use at the same time. If it can be made into frosted glass, it will be more humane. 3️⃣ About the location: There are many specialty restaurants around the hotel, and it is very convenient to eat! Overall, it is suitable for family stay (especially if you value quietness), and there are small details in the hardware that can be optimized.
