Hangzhou West Lake Lakeside Five-Star Bay Hotel (Wushan Square)

The room was very clean, and the service was great. The hotel's location is also super convenient. To the left is Intime, and to the right is Qinghefang. Traveling with friends, it was easy to get anywhere nearby. We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel offered a day trip to nearby attractions, which was excellent! We visited West Lake, Lingyin Temple, the First God of Wealth Temple, a tea plantation, and Qinghefang. Hangzhou East Railway Station is also very close, so we even squeezed in a quick trip to Shanghai.

My overall experience at the Hangzhou West Lake Hubin 5-Star Bay Hotel (Wushan Square Branch) was excellent. The hotel's location is fantastic, close to Wushan Square, making travel very convenient. It's a short walk or taxi ride to West Lake and Hefang Street, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The room was clean and tidy, with a well-designed layout. The bedding was comfortable, and I slept very well at night. The soundproofing was good, so I wasn't bothered by outside traffic noise. The bathroom was meticulously cleaned, with ample hot water and stable pressure. The front desk staff were friendly, and both check-in and check-out were efficient. They were also quick to assist with any issues. Overall, the value for money is quite good for this area, making it suitable for both tourists visiting Hangzhou and those on short business trips.

The hotel's location is pretty good. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to West Lake, which is quite convenient for tourists. Plus, Hubin Road and Intime Department Store are right nearby. Inside the room, there's a smart assistant (Xiao Du) that lets you control the TV and lights, which is really handy. They also have a robot at the front desk that can deliver takeout right to your room. The front desk staff, especially the younger ones, provided decent service.

The hotel is in a bustling area, making it super convenient for shopping, dining, and entertainment. It's also close to West Lake and Hefang Street, plus it's near Metro Line 1 and Line 7. The room was really clean and tidy. Overall, I highly recommend it. They also cleaned the room daily for extended stays.

The cleanliness was quite disappointing. The room wasn't cleaned when I checked in, so I had to ask the front desk to switch rooms. There were some scattered black specks on the bed, which wasn't very clean. The toilet didn't have a seat cover, only a wet wipe for disinfection. The shower floor was incredibly sticky, I'm not sure what it was, and there were no shower slippers provided. I'd recommend bringing your own and laying a towel down if you're showering barefoot. The environment is decent; it's about a twenty-minute walk to West Lake and Intime department store. The service was okay; the front desk staff answered all my questions. The facilities are complete; you can control the lights and air conditioning with 'Xiaodu' (a smart assistant), and there's a robot for food delivery. However, there's only one robot, so during peak meal times or when it's out of battery, you have to go down and get your food yourself. The bed was very comfortable, just the right firmness.
