Hotels in Grand Canal Business Area, Hangzhou

This time I came to Hangzhou mainly to see Conan's 30th anniversary exhibition with my friends. I saw that this hotel near Joy City had a good rating on the platform, so I booked a room here with my friends. When I arrived at the hotel, the sound of the fountain at the door cooled down the hot weather a lot. When I stepped into the hotel lobby, the space with a height of more than ten meters was magnificent. It would be even better if it could be accompanied by some light music. During the check-in period, the front desk lady poured us a cup of cool and delicious grapefruit tea. We didn't have to wait for a long time and we could basically check in. There were free mouthwash, dental floss and earplugs at the elevator entrance. I think this is very personalized. I have stayed in many hotels before, but they were not displayed and needed to be asked at the front desk. Here, they were placed at the elevator entrance in a self-service form. It was very considerate to come and get them when needed. It was great! Fortunately, the front desk lady upgraded us. The room was very large and two people would not feel crowded. The room had a panoramic floor-to-ceiling window and the scenery was also very good. The room facing the road would not be noisy at night. The room also had a smart butler Xiaodu, which saved a lot of trouble. There is a subway station less than 100 meters away from the hotel, and Joy City is diagonally across the road. It is really convenient to travel. The gym is on the underground first floor, which has all kinds of fitness equipment and a swimming pool. It's really great for me who loves swimming. Overall, this stay was very good! It's a pity that I didn't have breakfast here. Next time I come to Hangzhou, I will choose this hotel to experience the breakfast here!

The check process took longer than expected, the person kept on asking for unnecessary information,where as the passport was in their hands, the sound proofing is not that good you are awoken by the noise from the traffic outside,the breakfast was just sub par ,would not recommend

The hotel is minimalist in style. The service attitude of the front desk lady and brother is good and gentle. The mineral water given at the door is warm. This is really a plus in winter☺️. The hygiene level is good after observing the first reaction when entering the room. There is a big table in the room! You can place items as you like! It's really suitable for sitting and eating (tea sets and kettles, I like them! The water boiling speed is also fast) There is also a laundry room for use, and the drying effect is great🥰 If there is a chance, I will choose to stay here next time (I didn't take pictures of the room, but I like the style and comfort)

Nice Hotel. Walking distance to a metro stop. Near two malls. Decent selection of restaurants nearby including western chains. Some stylish bars and clubs also nearby. Stayed only one night, but it was a very good experience. Only thing, watch out for the hot water coming out of the shower 😂

It was a very satisfying stay. I booked a double room with breakfast and stayed for 2 days. The air conditioner was already turned on when I opened the door, and the windows were opened for ventilation, which was very considerate. I chose a non-smoking floor. I swiped my card to go upstairs, which was safe and reliable. If I ordered takeout, a robot would also deliver the food upstairs. The hotel also provided welcome fruit, which was given for one day of stay, which was very good. I had encountered it before, which was given once for each day of stay, no matter how many days I stayed. This was the first time I encountered it. The hotel's breakfast buffet has many varieties and tastes OK.

The room is big enough, clean, and the service is good. I arrived at the hotel lobby manager at 8 o'clock on the morning of the 1st and checked in immediately. I stayed for 2 nights. On the third day, I was out playing until 2 o'clock and checked out at 3 o'clock. The staff was very friendly and the deposit was automatically refunded in full within half an hour! The two children also said that they would stay in this hotel again when they come to Hangzhou next time. Choosing Hangzhou Wanhua International Hotel is one of the right choices for this trip!

The hotel has a great room, except for the floors where it was coming loose and that was in all the floors throughout the hotel. The first experience when checking in, was not 5 star worthy. It was very busy and that can happen, but the number of staff seemed to be not enough also no drinks or such things were offered to ease the waiting nor was it suggested to leave the luggage and check-in later. The hotel is next to a big mall and close 800 meters to a subway. The hotel offers a great swimming pool and sauna. Compliments. A point of concern is cleaning throughout the hotel. The rooms are cleaned good, but gym dressing room and lobby did have items not cleaned for multiple days. In the evening we wanted to go to the bar and have a drink on the top, 14th floor, finding out that the hotel does not have a bar, which is not 5 star worthy. Overall, I believe there are better hotels in the city.

The location is very good. According to the introduction, it is the site of the old factory, next to Xiangji Temple. From the back door, you can reach Dadou, and the canal pier is just one street away. The breakfast is rich and basically has everything. The service is very warm and the room was upgraded when we checked in. The package includes boat tickets, and the staff is fast and patient in handling.

This hotel is a hidden gem..we went to hangzhou for our daughter’s birthday and stayed here for 3 days.. They gave us a room upgrade to a family room,they even surprised us with a birthday cake and a toy for my daughter.. The breakfast is also very good,lots of western options too..they have a play area for kids which is amazing! Only drawback is that its a little far from metro but if you are planning on going around using car then its no problem! Highly recommend this hotel for your next stay!

Environment: Let’s talk about the environment first. The room arranged is quite quiet. It is close to the Gongchenqiao historical district, surrounded by large complexes and not far from the subway station. Hygiene: Generally good. The non-smoking room I requested has no odor. Cleaned every day. Service: The problem can still be solved by finding the front desk. Facilities: relatively old. I live in this room and the bathroom is leaking. Overall it's pretty good, and the price is affordable during the holidays. The room does not provide disposable toiletries, you need to go to the front desk to get them, nothing else to say, it's pretty good!
