Dong Khanh Hotel

First off, instead of just taking a deposit or registering me, he insisted on holding onto my passport. As a foreigner, this made me incredibly uneasy; I immediately started thinking of all the worst-case scenarios. The facilities are also genuinely quite outdated.

The facilities and decor of **Dong Khanh Hotel** (located in the Chinese-Vietnamese community as recommended by Doubao) are quite ordinary, comparable to a budget hotel in China, but at a higher price. The breakfast is decent. Although Doubao and the hotel's service introduction mentioned Chinese-speaking staff, there was actually no one.

My stay was terrible. They charged a deposit, the hotel facilities are old, and the Wi-Fi was completely unusable. Even after reporting it, it still didn't work, which seriously affected my work. I even had to go out in the rain to find internet access. An extremely bad experience.

Decent hotel

Excellent service, with the front desk's help, the move was seamless. The breakfast was quite satisfying. I didn't have a chance to try the restaurant downstairs, so I'll save that for my next visit. The hotel was clean.

Central location in District 5, close to many restaurants and very clean. However, the interior is a bit run down.

No facilities at all. The front desk staff were friendly but didn't speak Chinese. I stayed for 3 days and the room was cleaned daily. The breakfast was pretty much the same every day, maybe because I stayed too long. It's convenient that you can store your luggage at the hotel after check-out.
