Hotels Near Red Parka in Hobart

This hotel met all our needs for the 3 night trip to Hobart. I would stay here again. It's centrally located to many things in town. The staff we met were all extremely nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfy. Bathroom is small, but its not like its a place where we spent a lot of time so it gets the job done. My two suggestions would be to add a shelf in the bathroom where one could place their stuff and add an overhead light so you could turn on the light when you came in the room. If you're a modest traveler who doesn't need a lot of frills or ton of space but looking for a clean and cozy place to spend the night, you'll like it just fine!

I stayed here for three days and felt that I didn’t have enough. I found it the most comfortable place to stay among all the hotels in Tasmania. It is indeed the capital of Tasmania. First of all, the location is excellent. You can see the port from the room. Turn right after exiting the lobby. Behind the hotel is the Salamanca Saturday Market, but they start closing their stalls at 3 p.m. Please take advantage of the time and take a look. Everything inside is more expensive than outside, especially the food. The breakfast at the hotel is top-notch. I have never had such a rich and delicious breakfast anywhere: free cherries, free smoked salmon, free artichokes in oil, a variety of fresh vegetable salads, adzuki beans, and accompaniments. There are two kinds of eggplants, and in the next few days there will be strawberries, wild mushrooms fried in butter, ice sparkling water, fresh fruit milkshakes, healthy and fresh. Of course, you can also order a variety of coffee and an omelette (there is a menu). What is dramatic is that almost all rooms in the hotel cannot open windows, which is very disadvantageous for people like me who absolutely need fresh air. Later, with the intention of giving it a try, I asked the hotel to provide a room with windows. The hotel actually agreed and moved me directly to the hotel's rooftop balcony. . . You don’t have to do it yourself. The hotel staff will help you move your luggage to the new room, but you have to pay the difference of 50 Australian dollars (worth it). You can see the history of the hotel. The roof was built in 1920. I lived on the roof! It feels very warm. After comparing, I realized that their service is really good. Oh, by the way, the airport bus comes and gets off at the second stop, and it's only a few minutes' walk away.

We went to macq01 as a little getaway before our second baby arrives. I hadn’t told the staff that however they noticed I was pregnant and delivered a gift box full of bath salts etc & some chocolates to our room. The rooms there are always beautiful and we love staying at macq01! We’ve stayed multiple times. Highly recommend.

Stayed here for 2 nights. The bunk house is conveniently located at battery point and a walking distance from Salamanca place. Although the bathroom are shared, there are quite a few bathroom available to use.

Comfortable bed, neat and clean environment, delicious meal in the ground floor restaurant. Good service, nice staff. Will book again when I visit Tasmania next time. Highly recommend to my friend s. Competitive prices to book at Trip.com. Quiet streets where St. Ives Apartment located Only 15 mins walk to go to the CBD. Many local tour options in Hobart. I had joined a one-day which offered pickup service at this hotel. Very convenient, I enjoyed my trip here.

The Bay Apartments are a good value but simple place to stay in Hobart. We stayed here for 1 night this week, in a 2 bedroom apartment. The apartment was clean but small. It had an overpowering smell of cleaning products when we arrived but this dispersed during our stay. The bathroom is a traditional shower-over-bath, and there is a small living area and flat screen TV. There is a small cooktop and sink, and a bar fridge. The apartments are a short walk to a large range of restaurants, a Woolworths and a Cole. There is also a pub (almost) next door. It is a short drive to Hobart CBD and there are public buses out the front. We were apprehensive at first as it was quite noisy (noise from other guests and from the road), but this didn’t affect our sleep quality. There is parking outside the unit and one reverse cycle aircon unit in the living area. Don’t expect a fancy property- this is a basic but well presented unit at an affordable price point, not a $300/nt property. If you set your expectations correctly this is a very good property. The stairways to the upstairs appartments are very narrow and it is difficult to carry large cases up and down. I’d stay here again if looking for a basic stay in Hobart, but probably not for multiple nights.

The hotel room is very large, the design must be beautiful, and the breakfast is also very delicious. It's a typical American breakfast. It's very good to have a menu to order according to your taste. The house has a sofa. It's very considerate to have a waiter come to the room to open the sofa and put it on. As one would expect, great staff and service, easy access - and laid back and an inviting/friendly atmosphere compared to a few others I have visited. Been twice now after getting a great room rate and well worth the stay with some great views (room location dependant). Great choice of both casual inexpensive meals at the Boardwalk Bistro and the more upper class eateries. Great amenities in one location. Our family recently had the pleasure of staying in the Tower Bay View Suite at Wrest Point Tower Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with the utmost care and attention by the hotel staff. They were not only professional but also incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The suite itself was immaculate, with every detail thoughtfully considered. The cleanliness was top-notch, which is always a significant factor when traveling with kids. However, the highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the unrestricted bay view from our suite. It was absolutely breathtaking and provided a serene backdrop to our stay. The kids were enthralled by the view, and it added an extra layer of magic to our vacation. In conclusion, our stay at Wrest Point Tower Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The combination of the stunning view, immaculate suite, and exceptional staff made our stay truly memorable. We can't wait to return and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone considering a stay in the area.

We stayed at the Waterfront for 21 days, using it as a base for our road trip. We had two rooms between three of us, and the budget price couldn’t be beaten for this type of accommodation. The motel is of the old style but has been maintained quite well with bright and comfortable rooms. Room facilities are good, kitchenettes with toaster, microwave, plates and cutlery, plus a communal kitchen to use. The rooms and linen were very clean. We weren’t disturbed by any noise even when the motel was fully occupied(it’s very popular). The location is excellent. There is a bus stop just down the road, the 561 and 562 buses run on the hour and get you into Hobart central in about twenty minutes. A shopping centre with a Coles and other stores is a ten minute drive away. I enjoyed my stay, the staff were so pleasant and obliging. I would thoroughly recommend this motel.
