Geya Ziju Hotel (Moore City Art College Metro Station) ★★★
"The hotel was spotless and smelled fresh. The facilities were brand new and fully automated, and the shower had great water pressure – a really good experience overall. The large windows let in plenty of light, but the blackout curtains worked perfectly. The front desk staff were warm, polite, and responsive, always offering thoughtful assistance. The location is excellent, with convenient transportation, and it offers great value for money."
Mercure Hotel ★★★★
"I've always had a good impression of Mercure; it's one of my go-to brands when traveling. This booking, however, left me a little disappointed, though I know it's not the hotel's fault. Still, as a review, I need to be truthful. **Hygiene:** The cleanliness was, as always, excellent. No complaints there. **Facilities:** My main disappointment with this Mercure was the parking. They have a ground-level parking lot, but spaces are very limited, making it almost impossible to find a spot. There's also a multi-story car park, but larger vehicles shouldn't even bother. Our car happened to be a six-seater, so we had to park in an adjacent lot. Fortunately, the hotel was proactive in resolving it and reimbursed our parking fee. It would have been even better if they had proactively informed us about parking options when we called the front desk. For out-of-towners like us, finding parking can be a real headache 😣. **Service:** The front desk staff were also very enthusiastic and helpful. They offered a small gift upon departure and eagerly asked if we needed breakfast. I must highly praise Mercure's breakfast – it was exceptionally good and excellent. Please keep it up! **Environment:** The hotel shares a building with other properties, so there's a wider variety of people coming and going. However, access to floors is restricted by key card, so it's acceptable. The hotel is very close to Kuanzhai Alley, which is a big plus!"
Jingran Boutique Hotel ( Square Railway Station) ★★★
An elegant contemporary retreat situated near the main transit hub, known for its sophisticated interior design and highly personalised guest service tailored for urban explorers.
Lanjing Apartment Hotel (Wanda Plaza Pedestrian Street Museum Metro Station Branch) ★★
"Really great, I've stayed here multiple times. The layout, including the bed runner and everything, is truly unique and I absolutely, absolutely, absolutely love it! The environment is also excellent! Highly recommended."
Holiday Inn Express HOHHOT EAST STATION by IHG ★★★★
A modern transit-focused hotel located in the eastern transport district, known for its complimentary express breakfast and seamless connectivity to major high-speed rail networks.
Coffetel Hotel (Changle Palace Moore City) ★★★
"The room was clean, and the location was very convenient. You can walk to Saide for meals, and if you head north, you'll find plenty of restaurants, including Yueqing Malatang. The only real challenge was parking. However, upon arrival, an elderly parking attendant at the entrance was very enthusiastic and helped us find a spot."
Hohhot Haoxuan Hotel (Dazhao Wuliang Temple CapitaMall Plaza) ★★
"The owner is very kind, the room is excellent, and the soundproofing is great. The air conditioning is on 24 hours, and the room is cleaned daily. It's close to Jokhang Temple and Qingcheng Park, making it a perfect place for tourists to stay. The room is clean with soft-padded interiors. They also offer luggage assistance and free drinking water. The staff are very helpful and answer all your questions. The price is fair, suitable for budget travelers. I'll definitely come back next time."
Hailiang Plaza Hotel (Zhongshan Road Metro Station) ★★★★

Wanda Vista Hohhot
"The room was spotless, and the hotel environment was excellent. Service: The service was very thoughtful and attentive. Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive. Although it's an older hotel, it's luxuriously decorated and well-equipped. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit."
IntercityHotel Hohhot Inner Mongolia Museum
"New hotel, and the facilities are all great! The mini-fridge had three complimentary drinks, which was a nice touch. The fruit platter was also good. The breakfast was decent; they had a wide variety of breads, but the hot dishes weren't particularly diverse. The lamb offal soup was incredibly rich and hearty, though it didn't come with potatoes. Being a new hotel, there are still some kinks to work out! I booked three rooms, but only one was ready at 2 PM. The other two weren't available until 4:45 PM, which really disrupted our rest. I saw on Trip.com that early check-in at 10 AM is possible, but I imagine that would be quite difficult to arrange. On the upside, late check-out at 2 PM was a plus! Also, our rooms were on different floors, and you need to use a key card for the elevator, which made it inconvenient to go back and forth between them. There's no underground parking yet, so you have to call for the barrier to be lifted to park. There's an Anhui cuisine restaurant next door that you can access directly from the hotel's fourth floor, saving you a detour. It's a good hotel, and I hope it continues to improve!"
Vyluk Hotel (Hohhot Xinhua Plaza)
"The hotel's location is excellent, right in the city center and just over 400 meters from the subway station. It's incredibly convenient for dining and sightseeing, making it a great choice for tourists."
Phoenix Hotel
"Great location with easy access to transportation, right above a subway station. The breakfast spread was excellent, and the room was very comfortable. Service was top-notch, and the check-out time was convenient. They even thoughtfully gave us a souvenir as a parting gift."
Inner Mongolia Hotel
"I'm writing this review for the Inner Mongolia Grand Hotel very carefully because it exceeded my expectations. To experience more of Inner Mongolia's culture, I stayed at different hotels during my days in Hohhot. For the first three days, I stayed in a characteristic guesthouse near Dazhao Temple. Although the price wasn't much cheaper than the Inner Mongolia Grand Hotel, I still felt it was incredibly worthwhile once I arrived at the latter. It has the following distinct advantages: 1. **Rich History:** Some people used to say that the Inner Mongolia Grand Hotel was old and dated. I always understood that to mean old facilities, but that's not the case. Its 'age' refers to a rich sense of history, and the items used are exceptionally good, which surprised me greatly. The ceramic and glass products are particularly exquisite. 2. **Service and Standards:** The service is very professional and well-regulated. The entire hotel operates with high standards, which is excellent. 3. **Ethnic Charm:** What was particularly unexpected was that there were even yurts (Mongolian tents) with prayer flags in the hotel courtyard. 4. **Location:** The location is also quite good. There's a popular internet-famous restaurant called Ordo. After we finished eating, we planned to take a taxi back to the hotel, but a quick check on the navigation showed it was only about 200 meters away. Overall, I think it offers great value for money, combining ethnic characteristics with comfort, even though the rooms aren't huge. **Check-in Tip:** Breakfast needs to be purchased separately. I recommend buying breakfast vouchers when you check in or booking a package that includes breakfast directly."
Homeinn Selected Hotel (Hohhot Xincheng District Xinhua Square Subway Station)
"It was surprisingly good, and the receptionist was also very nice."
Qinghan Homestay (Dazhao Historical and Cultural Tourism Area)
"The room was very spacious and bright, with large windows, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. The embroidered painting on the wall was also beautiful, and the overall environment was excellent. The hotel's location was super easy to find, right inside the Barkhor Old Street near Jokhang Temple, which was very convenient. Taxis could almost reach the doorstep. Service: The front desk lady had an amazing service attitude, very thoughtful. The breakfast bread in the morning was also delicious! We even got a discount for taking ******* costume photos while staying at the hotel! What a pleasant surprise! This trip was truly wonderful!"
Hua Ting Hotel (Inner Mongolia People’s Hospital – General’s Office Branch)
"A perfect stay! ✨ The environment was warm and clean, the service was attentive and meticulous, and the facilities were excellent. The room was well-ventilated, making it very relaxing to rest, and the overall atmosphere was fantastic. Highly recommended! A top choice for your trip!"
Lejia Yanxuan Hotel (Hailiang Square Metro Wanghong Street)
"This smart hotel exceeded my expectations. There weren't any gimmicky gadgets, every smart feature was genuinely useful. The motion-sensing night light for getting up at night was soft and not dazzling, and the voice recognition was accurate."
Sena Hotel (Hohhot Hailiang Plaza Dazhao Temple Branch)
A well-appointed accommodation located between major commercial and historical zones, known for its spacious guest rooms and excellent accessibility to both modern shopping and cultural sites.
Wanhao Hotel (Hohhot Wanda International Convention and Exhibition Center)
"I booked two rooms: a 1.8m king-size bed for my parents and a 2m king-size bed for me and my child. We stayed for 4 consecutive nights during the summer holiday. The location is very convenient, about a 20-minute drive from the airport and close to attractions like the Inner Mongolia Museum, making it perfect for families traveling by car. The hotel breakfast was a pleasant surprise – a rich variety and delicious. The rooms were also great, featuring very comfortable firm mattresses."
Hohhot Yujia Hotel
"Good value for money. The environment is quiet, and the hygiene is well-maintained. Facilities are complete, and the location is convenient."
Chang An Jin Zuo Hotel
"The room was clean, AC was working quite good and it was in the central area so it was quite easy to access to the subway and to other places."
Baochen Smart Selection Hotel
"The room was spacious and bright. However, a bug appeared during checkout, and I hope the hotel can improve its pest control measures. Facilities: Very good, the video quality was clear, and the speakers were powerful."
