I recently stayed at Mira Hong Kong and had a very disappointing experience. During check-in, I requested a room with a double bed. The staff asked if I would mind a room without a bathtub, and I agreed, assuming it would be a standard room.
However, upon entering the room, I realized it was equipped with disability access features, including accessible handrails in the bathroom and a roll-in shower. While I understand the importance of accessible rooms, I was never informed that this was a disabled-friendly room. As I was not feeling well that day, I didn’t fully notice until the next morning.
I felt extremely uncomfortable throughout my stay. The room lacked the comfort and ambiance I expected from a 4-5 star hotel. When I contacted customer service to express my dissatisfaction, they claimed they had “informed me in advance” about the handrails and absence of a bathtub. But mentioning “no bathtub” is very different from explicitly stating that the room is designed for disabled guests.

We chose this hotel because it offers a Halal breakfast, but it was nothing tasty, just a heated breakfast of frozen food often found in supermarkets. I was disappointed by the quality and could not eat it.

The hotel is situated in the heart of Kowloon, conveniently close to Kowloon Park with direct metro access. The front desk staff were professional, communication was smooth, and the atmosphere was elegant, with a particularly pleasant fragrance throughout. Our room met expectations; we were given a twin room and even received a complimentary upgrade. I would definitely consider staying here again.

I painstakingly searched for a hotel without bug complaints, but to my dismay, I still ran into trouble. Prior to my arrival, I'd seen many reviews for other hotels mentioning bugs and bites, so I meticulously chose one that had no such reports. However, the bedding felt very damp. I felt itchy all over during the night, and when I woke up, I discovered my entire thigh was red and swollen. Oh my goodness, I've never experienced anything like this! It was truly unbearable, and I'm utterly speechless.

Had an excellent stay. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and even took my preferences into account during check-in. The hotel breakfast they recommended was also very good. The hotel boasts an excellent location, being very close to the MTR station, Harbour City, and Victoria Harbour. It's incredibly convenient as you can access all major shopping malls and attractions entirely via underground passages. The surrounding area is packed with trendy restaurants, making it a fantastic area to explore.

Facilities: The hotel's facilities are excellent, and the surrounding amenities are also superb. The swimming pool was exceptionally clean. Plus, the Miramar Shopping Centre (Phases 1 & 2) is just a stone's throw away, which is incredibly convenient.
Overall, this was a fantastic trip to Hong Kong and a truly wonderful hotel experience. I will definitely book The Mira Hong Kong again in advance for my next visit!
