Best Honolulu Spa Hotels

The hotel is a bit dated.  We stayed at the Ali building that were supposed to have more amenities and a separate check in desk but they close early and still had to check and wait in the main front desk.  The extra cost at the Ali didn’t seem to be worth it.  Also, the hotel is very far from the main parts of Waikiki so was a bit inconvenient and ended up taking an uber everywhere.

This hotel named as “the First Lady” in Waikiki and the heritage building attracts you deeply and looks very nice. I think I was a bit misled by the platform about the “private beach” as it actually refer to a very small area that the hotel renting some umbrella for their guest and make it as a “private area” instead of a real private beach. However, the location is excellent located in the center of Waikiki beach with very close walking distance and we enjoy the time in the beach very much.

This is definitely the most surprising hotel in Hawaii on this trip! First of all, it has a great location, right in the center of Waikiki, with Intl MarketPlace, Waikiki restaurants and supermarkets downstairs, basically within a 10-minute walk. The internet celebrity vintage coffee is a two-minute walk away! Secondly, unlike Sheraton and Marriott, it does not charge a deposit, which avoids possible refund issues! Although the deposits were returned promptly when I stayed at the other two hotels, this one avoided possible problems from the root. Third, the room is very new. It should have been renovated in the past two years. Unlike the old-fashioned American hotels in my impression, it is decorated in a tropical style and is very clean! The area is also OK. The smallest room we booked is also large enough for a 28-inch suitcase to be spread out and laid flat. Of course, since it is not on the beach, it definitely does not have a first-line sea view. Those who like to see the sea view should not come to this hotel. But the corresponding price is also relatively low (September 2000), and tourists who focus on cost-effectiveness can pay attention to it.

Nice for a nostalgic Hawaiian stay on Waikiki Beach — near many shops and restaurants. Great service and friendly staff. Hotel room was clean and furnishings are what you would expect for this price point.

I saw in other reviews that the facilities were outdated, but overall, it felt new and the location is right in front of Waikiki Beach, so it's great for shopping and going to the ocean. I came to Oahu for shopping after being on another island, and the location is good enough to walk to this accommodation. The only regret, like other reviews, was that the soundproofing was really poor.

We had a very nice stay at Hotel La Croix, it is walking distance to the beach. When we first got there, we had asked if we possibly could get a room with a view and was initially told our room initially assigned is on the lower level and has construction view. Manager offered to upgrade us for a fee to a higher floor room. It has a very nice view of the beach but being that the room has 2 windows, the other side is still a construction view. Beds are comfortable and room has everything we need. Because of the upgrade, we had received access to the Monkey pod room which provided free bottled water, canned drinks and snacks. Overall we had a pleasant stay there. Didn't get to enjoy the pool, but it's also nice that the hotel has ABC store right downstairs and free coffee in the morning in the lobby.

The hotel is in a great location, right in the middle of the commercial street, and it is very convenient to go shopping and eat. The beach is right outside the swimming pool area on the first floor of the hotel. The coastal restaurants on the first and second floors of the hotel have great views, so you have to wait for a table during dinner time. The room is very large, and the king-size bed with sea view is very comfortable. It is also very pleasant to sit on the balcony and watch the sea.

The room facilities are very good, clean and tidy. The room service is warm and considerate, the hotel has a good view, complete supporting facilities, and the hotel lobby staff is warm and thoughtful. The location is very good, close to the commercial street for shopping. I will choose to stay next time.

The facilities, service, and spa are all very satisfying. When we told them about a family celebration, they even gave us a surprise service. The pool and beach have a calming atmosphere and are geared towards adults.

I booked this hotel three times between Ctrip and Qunar, because the price dropped the closer I got. The location of the hotel is indeed good, the room is large, the balcony has a good view, and it is very comfortable to use. Although the hotel is large, the elevator is very fast, and getting in and out is not as troublesome as some reviews said. The only inconvenience was that I checked out of the room that day, stored my luggage and went shopping. When I came back, I found that on the check-in floor on the second floor, all toilets required swiping a room card to enter, OMG. Later, I went to the change room where the third-floor swimming pool is located. There is no need to swipe the room card there. It’s very close to Marugame Udon, a popular udon restaurant. The “Mai*” matcha ice cream next to it is also good. You can try the purple potato balls in Duke Lane. The local poke bowl is worth a try.
