"My family and I came to Leshan to play. We booked a twin room. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was designed with a double washbasin, so each person could have one without being crowded. The room had good lighting. The front desk could store luggage for free, with no time limit. The service was very good. The room was also soundproof. It was relatively quiet when sleeping at night. The bedding was very comfortable."

"while this hotel is confidently located 25 minutes away for the leshan big buddha and a shopping mall, there really is not much to do in leshan.
we had great service from the doorman who carried our heavy suitcases up, however the front desk were a bit unfriendly, when we were checking in, there were 2 girls, the first one who was helping us was very nice, then the other girl stepped in and was very passive, while our chinese wasn’t that great she didn’t try to be very helpful.
Also why does the bathroom not have a door on it. both the toilet and the shower have curtains but after I shower how am i supposed to change, was i supposed to stay in the shower where it was all wet and wet my clothes or step out into the doorless bathroom and give everyone an eyeful. the water pressure on the shower was also useless, it took me at least 15-20 minutes to was my hair cause there was barely any water. what’s the point of having such a fancy looking shower head when it is useless. the toilet was another thing, the frosted glass was only used on about 2/3 of the glass and when sitting on the bed you can see the person on the toilet. the bathroom was not great."

It was a great stay. I liked the hotel so much that I decided to book an extra day. The location is very convenient; you can take a walking path to the temples from here. The tourist center for visiting Golden Peak is not far either—it took me 20 minutes to walk there through the amazing bamboo forest. I was also happy with the breakfast; the choice of dishes was very nice. The hot spring was the best thing you could do after hiking. I also loved the special local tea provided in the room; it was a wonderful touch. I noticed the attention to every detail of the stay and truly wish I can come here again. I strongly recommend this hotel to everyone"

After arriving, because the room I originally booked had not been cleaned yet, the front desk directly upgraded the room type. Although it was on the first floor, the light would definitely be darker than on the second floor, but I think it was okay, not as annoying as others said.
The housekeeper added WeChat in advance, and told the housekeeper directly if there was any need. The response was very fast, more timely than calling! Had such a great time at this hotel! The room is lovely and spacious and the tub is great for relaxing. The people at the front desk are the sweetest, they spoke a little English which was great for me. And even if we did not understand each other they would go out of their way to help me using a translation app and they helped me with everything. The only thing is the matrass was a little hard for my liking, but other wise a perfect stay. Will definetely come back!

LLawrenceI stayed at for three nights and was pleasantly surprised by this budget-friendly hotel. The **location is excellent** - close to public transport and within walking distance of several restaurants and shops.
The **room was clean and simple**, with a comfortable bed, fresh linens, and reliable air conditioning. Basic amenities like a TV, free Wi-Fi, and daily housekeeping were all provided. The **bathroom was small but functional**, with hot water available 24/7.
Staff were **polite and efficient** during check-in/out. While there's no restaurant on-site, they offered good recommendations for nearby eateries. The **lobby has free coffee/tea** available all day.
**Perfect for travelers who want a clean, convenient place to sleep without luxury frills.** Would definitely stay here again on my next trip!

Its predecessor was the Emeishan official residence built by the National Government for Chiang Kai-shek in 1935, where he lived during his tenure as the ”Officer Training Corps”.
The hotel's architectural style combines Chinese and Western styles, and follows the ”dragon and tiger leap” feng shui layout according to the mountain terrain, with the back of the mountain and the water in front, and the dispersed correspondence; taking advantage of the mountain, a unique downward extension structure is formed, and you can appreciate the unparalleled natural environment in the hotel without leaving your home. Looking down at the entire hotel, 9 villa-style floors are hidden on the side of the peaks, in the valleys, and in the corners of the lakes, and there are also pavilions, waterside pavilions, bridges and guest-only walking trails connecting them.
The hotel has 440,000 square meters of virgin forest, 100,000 square meters of natural lakes, radon hot springs with a mineralization age of 20 million years and a 5,000-meter hiking trail. The air negative oxygen ion monitoring value is 3,000 times the urban average. It is a well-deserved ”garden hotel, forest hotel”. In Sichuan Province, it is the only two state guesthouses that are on par with Chengdu Jinniu Hotel.
After the founding of New China, Hongzhushan Hotel is full of red genes and has repeatedly undertaken the reception and support tasks of party and state leaders. Building 3 is affectionately called the ”Marshal Building” and has successively received many founding marshals such as Zhu De, Peng Dehuai, and Chen Yi; and Building 2 ”Xiaoping Building” was stayed by Comrade Deng Xiaoping twice in 1965 and 1980. The Zen Mountain Residence in Building 7 where we stayed fully embodies the ”people-oriented” service concept: the service staff are humble and polite. The men are handsome and the ladies are pretty. The guest rooms are spacious, elegant and comfortable. The whole room is fully lit, with floor-to-ceiling windows, separating wet and dry areas, and separating movement and stillness. The balcony goes deep into the forest, forming the ultimate of borrowing scenery into the room, the room is in the scenery, the scenery follows the people, and the people are in the painting. Mr. Jin Yong praised it as: every window is a landscape painting. The hot spring is brought into the room, so that every guest can enjoy the best ”radon” hot springs in Mount Emei without leaving the house. The breakfast dishes are rich, combining Chinese and Western styles, and are carefully made. There are also local snacks and intangible cultural heritage of Mount Emei, such as Kabing, tofu brain, Bobo chicken, tangerine peel beef, etc., which are enough to satisfy the appetite of every diner.
In the morning and evening, you can see the lake and mountains when you walk in it. Birds and flowers are singing all the way, and the jungle is singing softly. Breathe the fresh air full of hydrogen ions, feel the moisture of the lake and the caress of the forest wind. “I am swimming in the painting, the painting is walking in the scenery, the scenery has entered my eyes, and I am also in the painting.” At that moment, nature and man are one, and I forget myself and the world.

BBernicetjmXiao Zhou and his colleagues provided us with exceptional service during our one-night stay at the hotel! They were very nice and friendly, attentive to our needs and requests, and chatted with us in an open and welcoming manner whenever we inquired about aspects of the local environment, Mt Emei, etc. We had dinner at the hotel during our stay and ordered the chef's recommendations. The food was AMAZING and so fresh. The fish and chicken dishes that we had came from live fish and chicken that they reared within the hotel compound. If they were a local restaurant back in my country, I would frequent them without a doubt, and would love to bring my friends to try their cuisine. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating, Xiao Zhou even brought us to take a look at the hotel's chicken coop and fish pond. When we had to leave for our hike to Mt Emei's summit, Xiao Zhou and his colleague kindly drove us to the nearest bus station so that it would be easier for us to access Mt Emei's public transportation, a gesture which we appreciated a lot! All in all, their attentiveness to us, good manners, and warm and friendly dispositions all contributed to a memorable stay. Of course, the rooms themselves were spotless and comfortable. Would love to come back here in the future!!

GGuest UserThis is not a 4 or 5 start resort. It’s a 5 star room down the river. The restaurant was closed when we were there, so called gym does not exist at all, swimming pool is small like a pond and the bigger one is for kids. There is no garden or anything that covers the road and the bridge you can hear easily while staying down the swimming pool. The big bonus is the bathroom- big and modern exactly like on the picture and the spring water hot tub that works well and can create a great time during the night as you can hear the river. Light system is amazing. You can find any light that you need to set up a mood. People are very nice and friendly. The front desk does not have ‘ business card’ and location of the hotel was written down on a paper. Really little things that shows this place has a potential but not in the current set up. You can’t lock the room door when you are not inside- only the garden gate. Who would design such a thing? I know it’s a safe destination but still. There is no safe either. People create this place special but it does not meet a high standard resort score.

BBoWe recently stayed at Far Hill Reflect Snow Hotel for two days in early December as a family with seniors and young kids. While the hotel itself might not be the most luxurious, the outstanding hospitality we experienced makes it truly worth considering for anyone visiting the area.
A special mention goes to Ms. He, the hotel manager, whose kindness and dedication made our stay unforgettable. When we missed breakfast one morning, she personally prepared delicious noodles for us. When we struggled to find taxis, she went above and beyond, driving our group of seven to the train station in two separate trips. Such genuine care and effort are rare to come by, and it left a lasting impression on all of us.
If you're looking for a stay where you’ll feel truly cared for, this is the place to be. Thank you, Ms. He, for your incredible hospitality. We’ll cherish this experience and happily recommend this hotel to other travelers.

CCherwenI was having a quick refreshing stop over in Emeishan before my busy time of work . The hotel owners were very friendly and provided all the helpful travel tips. The hotel is located at the foot of Emei Mountains with the beautiful backdrop of mountain range as well as easy location to access local restaurants, shops and the tourist center. Nature is the main presence here: you are surrounded by the woods, waking up only listening to birds singing. If you decide to walk the emei mountain and have sore muscles, you can enjoy the hot spring bath directly in your room. Your muscles will thank you the day after. The breakfast is done in a room where there is a huge long table, you might share it with others. This makes the atmosphere very familiar and friendly. Despite not speaking Chinese, we were welcome and felt home. I would definitely come back here if I am in the area.

LLanJiangWe initially chose Pure Cloud Hotel for its proximity to Wuxiangang Bus Station and its recent opening. The drive up the narrow mountain road, full of sharp turns, was a bit unsettling for our city Didi driver, so we were secretly relieved (as was our driver) when we finally arrived. At first glance, the hotel seemed quite simple, and I wasn’t entirely sure I had made the right choice. However, any lingering doubts were quickly washed away by the warm welcome from Derek, the hotel manager, and the staff.
When we got to our room, it was pure joy! The minimalist design is visually soothing, and the balcony with its expansive mountain views made us feel like just hanging around and doing nothing was more than enough.
If you're the kind of traveler who feels guilty about not doing anything, rest assured that the hotel is in a beautiful section of the mountain. There's a lovely old temple and a sacred spring pond nearby—Zhongfeng Temple and Shenshui Pavilion, I believe. You’ll also enjoy the energy of hikers rushing up and down the mountain. There are enough people to make it lively but not overwhelmingly crowded like Leidongping or Jinding, where the crowds can be exhausting.
A special mention goes to Derek, who exceeded all our expectations. His kindness and professionalism reminded me of the kind of service you expect from a six-star hotel, where every need is anticipated. Derek went above and beyond, making our journey to Golden Summit and onward to Leshan much smoother and more enjoyable. Since we speak minimal Chinese, he kindly helped us communicate with the next hotel, explaining how to get there. He even offered us a free ride to the bus station when we struggled to find a Didi in the area. Derek also helped arrange our transfer to Leshan. We were incredibly impressed and grateful for his assistance.
If I had to suggest one area for improvement, I’d say the dinner options could use some enhancement to match the overall excellence of the stay.
A small tip: If your goal is to catch the sunrise and sunset at Golden Summit, you'll need to stay at one of the mountaintop hotels near Jinding. Logistically, getting to these hotels involves taking a bus from Baoguosi or Wuxiangang Station to Leidongping, then a cable car to the upper platform, followed by a roughly one-hour hike with steep steps to Jinding. It's manageable with a backpack, but not ideal with large luggage. That’s why we chose Pure Cloud Hotel for its close proximity to Wuxiangang Bus Station, leaving our luggage there and heading up the mountain with just our backpacks.
