A much better hotel comparing to BaiYun hotel in terms of the condition of the facilities and rooms. It is just newer, better and serve better FOOD . But since Baiyun is located in the Front Mountain , and Xihai on the back mountain , one would still have to stay at BaiYun if they are planning to climb front mountain , and one have to stay at XiHai if planning to climb Back Mountain. Remember Huangshan is divided into 3 areas , Front , Back and DaXiaGu with 73 peaks in total ! If you dont mind the cost , XIhai hotel is the best hotel if you are climbing the Back Mountains. Note : Huangshan is just too big , you need to see the map and plan properly before attempting ! The photos i posted is the view from the hotel ! Also not forgetting manager 小聂 who been providing me with all the precious weather info , Thank u !

Although we didn’t spend much time in the room, the service was good and there’s nothing we can complain about except Huangshan is too crowded. The tourism ministry should take a closer look at it as the climb and descent are becoming a risk with such bad jams and some people are pushing to go faster

Clean and comfortable rooms in a great location! Enjoyed the massage in the SPA in between hiking days. There was lots of fog so didn’t manage to see the sunrise but totally recommend staying the night to properly enjoy the park anyways!

Nice hotel by the mountains - we managed to catch the sunrise :) They also had a nice dinner buffet option at an additional cost. I just don’t know if it’s worth this high cost though - we had problems with the AC and the window couldn’t open fully so we were sweating throughout the night unfortunately and did not have a good night sleep.

This hôtel is great! I arrived at about 10am and they quickly gave me my room. They communicate everything By WeChat which is really helpful. Restaurant is a bit expensive but take into account that the sherpas have to bring everything by foot! ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT! They also help you with information about routes, walking distance, peaks, etc.

During our stay , we had a wonderful experience. The hotel offered excellent service, comfortable rooms, and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive, always ensuring that we had everything we needed.
The location was convenient, making it easy to explore the area, and the hotel’s amenities. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and provided a relaxing space to unwind after a day of activities.

My stay at this hotel was fantastic! The room was wonderfully warm and cozy, making it the perfect retreat after a long day of exploring. The location is ideal for anyone who loves nature, offering the perfect vantage points to catch both the sunrise and sunset. It was truly magical to watch the sky change right from the comfort of the hotel. The hotel also provided jackets to keep me comfortable while outdoors, which was a thoughtful touch. Additionally, the detailed map they offered was incredibly helpful for navigating the area and making the most of my time there.

Don't bother coming to Huangshan at all unless you stay on the mountain, otherwise you'll never see the place without a crowd.
Xihai hotel has a great location, rooms are well-appointed, breakfast is good especially considering everything has been hauled up there by porters, and the service is top-notch.
Only criticism is the amenities included a sauna but this is only part of the (additional cost) spa. Too bad because I was looking forward to it after walking all day.

Great location, close to the spot for viewing sunset. The hotel also provides a winter jacket which really worked for -8 degrees when we were there. We enjoyed the buffet dinner and breakfast as well.
