Hilton Hurghada Plaza

Hurghada|1.16km from Masjed Al Dahar Al Kabeer
Hotel is quite modern and very clean. There are some shops and restaurants on site which provide good options for stop it is also opposite the Hurghada Plaza Shopping Mall where we thought the food court would supply some decent food items. However there were basically a couple of takeouts with very very limited range. It was disappointing. There is a Carrefour supermarket in the shopping mall. The hotel rooms are excellent and most face the beach with full glass windows and great views. However, one disappointing aspect was the air conditioning which unfortunately sounds like a jet engine taking off when it switches on automatically to cool the room. It was so loud that it woke us up several occasions during the evenings for our stay. The beach area is fantastic as the hotel is on a small bay. They were plenty of sun lounges available. The most disappointing aspect was the breakfast buffet which was bedlam every morning. Coffee was supplied with two machines which continually kept running out of coffee and at the staff were unable to keep up. The small machines were clearly insufficient for the number of people staying at the hotel. Additionally, most people did not know how to use them which resulted in huge amounts of wastage spilling over into the trays which obviously causes them to run out even more quickly. But this situation needs to be remedied as it is completely unsatisfactory. Why don't they just put some large coffee urns there which would avoid this nonsense. One that needs to be aware that despite the war in Ukraine, Egypt seems to be one of the few countries still accepting Russian flights and tourists. Thus, you will need to fight for your space in the lines as they constantly push in, which unfortunately has been my experience when I've encountered them in many other countries in the world also.

Sphinx Aqua Park Beach Resort

Let's be honest, you can only go here in one case: if your trip (including tickets) for a week costs $600 maximum. That's the only reason to go to this hotel. I have been working in the hospitality industry for a long time. As a professional in my field, I will get tired of listing the reasons why it is not worth going to this hotel. The main disadvantages that you will find in this hotel are: 1. Food - If you live in Central Europe/USA, you will be disappointed in the quality of food and the ways it is prepared. In most cases, the food is undercooked/overcooked, the menu is the same (Only the grill is on the positive side, the dishes change every day). I would also like to note that eating breakfast and lunch on the terrace becomes impossible due to the fact that crows are ready to steal your food from the plate as soon as you turn away or go for a drink. 2. Alcohol - As in all of Egypt, if you travel on an all-inclusive system, you will have free alcohol, but only locally produced. If you are a lover of good beer, then you will have to pay $ 2/3 for one bottle of it. Alcohol is generally of tolerable quality, but bartenders will come up with recipes out of their heads. In 7 days I tried about 10 different variations of one cocktail. 3. Room - We arrived at the hotel by 7 am and (of course) the room was not ready. Check-in was from 2 pm. It was not possible to check in earlier because all the rooms were occupied. Unfortunately, the hotel staff does not care that you have to wait 7 hours before checking into the room. They won't give you towels so you can go to the beach, and they won't give you a bracelet before 10 am so you can at least go to breakfast (we went without a bracelet, the hotel staff was kind and allowed you to have breakfast without them). The room itself that we had was generally acceptable, but it was clear that all the furniture was very old and needed to be replaced. The room overlooked the neighboring building and had a sea view. The room had a balcony and good air conditioning. Our toilet was constantly broken, on the second day of my stay, I learned to fix it myself and steadily repaired it several times a day. 4. Location - The hotel is located near the embankment (5 minutes walk) and a shopping center with a good supermarket (7 minutes walk). For $ 5 you will be taken by taxi to the city center and back. 5. Сleanness - This is a serious drawback of this hotel (and possibly the whole of Egypt). I had to clean the bathroom myself because housekeeping ”didn't notice” the dirt while making our room up. The chairs in the restaurant are dirty and covered in bird droppings. No one cleans the sunbeds on the beach and they are all dirty from the sand. Glasses and cutlery will never be clean and polished, so we preferred to use disposable plastic cups. 6. Hotel area - Two hotels are located in one place: King Tu and Sphinx. On the territory of the hotels, there are several bars and restaurants, a nightclub, two beaches
Sea Star Beau Rivage Hotel

The price/performance ratio is pretty good ~ 500 for one night in December, the external environment is good, there are not many self-service options and it is not bad like a canteen ~ After all, the price is there, the hygiene is not particularly good, the pillows and quilts smell of old oil! This is a bit disgusting! There is Xiaoqiang in the house~ Hahahaha. The hotel is in a good location and I can only stay there for a while. It is not far from the seafood market and the go bus station.
Meraki Resort - Adults Only

Meraki resort is an amazing hotel that exceeded all my expectations. This hotel is only for an adults, which is a big plus. There are amazing parties every day and the best animation team takes care of the fun. I definitely recommend going to the BoatParty as well. The staff is also very nice and everyone is very helpful. I have absolutely nothing to complain about. I have been to Meraki twice already and certainly not the last time. I'm already looking forward to being back.

For the third time at this hotel. and every time pleasantly surprise. Despite the fact that the old hotel was always cleaned, the main restaurant was cleaned. They cook deliciously ... especially delicious beef and fish. Variously. Cleaning every day. drinking water in the room. the beach is clean, clean. Nice and polite staff. For 3 *** it’s quite worthy ... and I know what I'm writing about. If you need relaxation inexpensively, you can safely book
Eagles down Town Zahabia &Beach Resort
3.9/55 Reviews
Coming from Hilton Plaza, this little hidden gem surprised me a lot. Zahabia may not be the newest or most luxurious of hotels in Hurghada, however, its charming pool decks and nicely landscaped gardens all around made me feel like at home. Extremely friendly and helpful staff makes the holiday even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly, informal and possibilities ate endles. Animation team: Usha, Sara, Shehab and Inna will keep you busy and in good shape with zumba and joga and more on the beach. Talking about the beach - it has beautiful soft sand, better than Hilton Palza and nice palms, with long stretch of shallow water great for families with kids. Take or rent a snorkel and see beautiful colourful fish and coral reef right from the beach.
Magic Beach Hotel Hurghada
3.9/545 Reviews
Nothing in life is perfect, but Magic Beach Hotel offers a very, very enjoyable stay in almost every aspect, and I'd like to point out that no one asked me to write a review. Mr. Awny, the manager, Zayid at the reception and Suha, in charge of housekeeping as well as anything technical, all kept things running smoothly - with a kind word for everyone from staff to guests. This hotel has a cosy, easy-going atmosphere we definitely prefer to the big, unpersonal ”luxury” resorts. We were always treated as friends and will be happy to return. Everyone says don't buy a SIM at the airport, as they are unreliable. I can't say much about the wifi in the lobby beyond that it worked with just a small glitch or two in 10 days. I needed something more for our adventures outside the hotel, so I bought a SIM-card at the hotel shop that sells everything you could need during your stay. Many thanks to the kind owner (who speaks very good German and English) for taking his time and getting my phone running - great price, perfect service ... and a smile on top ;-) A definite recommendation from us! Perfectly located in a quiet, mostly residential, and very accessible area: Shops in the hotel and across the street. About 15-20 minutes walk to Dahar, the old town, with some shops, playgrounds, attractions and such along the way. A lot of other hotels in Hurghada are located either on a noisy main street or in the middle of nowhere. Magic Beach has a lovely garden/pool area and its own private beach. We felt fine leaving our things at our lounge chairs when going into the sea. As mostly everyone here agrees, the staff is attentive, quick and they were even patient with my attempts to speak some Arabic with them. They really deserve any tip a guest might like to give, but never, ever, lurked around expecting one. We gave Euros with some chocolate now and then, and it was graciously accepted. Our room was just fine! Always clean, quiet, a nice view. Great, hot, powerful showers and a comortable, very clean mattress. Hair dryer and quality shower gel. Thanks to the very friendly cleaner who often left a personal touch. We felt very much at home during our stay. We really enjoyed the food, which was often presented in an especially festive way. Great options for vegetarians, and for everyone else too. Falafel for breakfast became our favourite, the crepes and omelettes were tempting as well. Always fresh fruit, even strawberries! I ate a lot of salads, and never had any digestive issues. We also didn't have any issues regarding drinks availability. Coffee (especially at the lobby bar!), tea, beer, wine and Diet Coke were always perfect. There was daily animation (yoga, sports, evening entertainment), very professionally offered by an external team - not the staff having to dance after clearing the tables. ;-) We enjoyed it - as did the mostly German, Czech, Polish, British/Aussie guests. Something for everyone. Not too loud or obtrussive, and it didn't go too late
