Strikingly beautiful. Surrounded by lush, picture-perfect tropical gardens and set on the banks of Mingshi river, at the border of China and Vietnam, this boutique resort is defined by its modernist design, the unmistakable Karst rock formations, and the seductively slow pace of riverside living. This luxurious sanctuary is designed for astute travelers who crave meaningful connections and out-of-this-world experiences.
"The welcome ceremony upon arrival was a pleasant surprise. Mia, our butler, was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. The location is excellent, very close to the Yulin Dam, and the facilities and design are beyond words. We even received a gift, everything was perfect. So, anything else I say is really just nitpicking, haha. The TV volume in my room was a bit low; I had to turn it up to maximum to get a regular volume for movies, though that might just be me not adjusting it correctly. Also, I couldn't find the toothpaste in the morning. Regarding the private pool in the room, the stainless steel ladder could use better anti-slip treatment; I slipped twice. And it seemed like one or two tiles on the pool floor near the river were a bit loose and slightly raised, which could be fixed later. The main pool also closed quite early at 9 PM; I'm not sure if that was due to the weather. The restaurant also seemed to close a bit early, before 10 PM, so if you like a late-night snack, you'd have to go out. Overall, it's definitely a world-class hotel, no doubt about it."
