The disadvantage is that the room is small, it is written as 20 square meters, but in fact it can only squeeze in 2 beds, a long TV, and 2 small bedside tables.
It takes a small path with steps to get there, and it is not convenient to carry a large heavy box in the peak season (there are too many guests and the boss’s family has limited manpower and may not be able to take care of the pick-up and drop-off)

GGuest UserAfter the phased exam, I chose to travel with my roommate on a staggered peak. Shengsi Gouqi Island is a popular online celebrity check-in place for holidays, but here, too, there are chaos such as taxi fares and fees for attractions on the Internet. However, choosing to stay at this homestay has achieved more than 90% of my success on this trip. During my two nights at this homestay, I actually experienced what it means to be at home.
The morning of the stay, when I was still waiting for the boat at Shenjiawan Wharf, the boss added me vx, telling me that I didn't need to take a taxi after getting off the boat, and I needed to spend a few dollars to take the bus directly to the hotel, and said that I had anything to ask her.
After the stay, just when I was planning to find a travel guide on Xiaohongshu, the boss took the initiative to recommend the afternoon tour route to us according to the various circumstances of the day.
During my stay, whenever I walked out of the room, I always greeted the enthusiastic boss and his family. The guests in other rooms were also very friendly. In our free time, we sat in the yard and watched the blue sea and talked and had a lot of good times.
On the third morning, I received the boss's WeChat before leaving the store. This time, she sent a large bowl of white fungus for us to practice. So my roommate and I had a wonderful sea view and the small bread I bought the night before, and enjoyed the last morning before leaving the island very comfortably. Our island trip ended.
If I still have the opportunity to visit this island with my friends and family next time, I will definitely choose to stay here again. It is like a origin, carrying my love and good wishes for the island's rich natural landscape resources. I hope that in the near future, the government will be able to standardize the tourism experience here, and completely eliminate the monopoly of traffic on the island and the arbitrary charging of attractions. I hope that the operators on the island can take the business philosophy of this homestay as an example and make their due contributions to the sustainable development of tourism here.

GGuest UserThe room offered a sea view. What I particularly liked was that all the toiletries, including towels and bath towels, were disposable. I was pleasantly surprised that even the paper cups were individually sealed – a really nice touch! Another bonus was that the owner let us use electric scooters for free upon check-in, which was incredibly convenient! My only minor suggestion would be for the bathroom to have a curtain, as it gets quite bright in the morning.

GGuest UserThe guesthouse was up to standard, and the elderly couple provided excellent service, making it feel like a friendly visit to a villager's home. They chatted about everyday life and local customs, which was wonderful.
Ctrip is ripping people off; the price was over 100 yuan, but the platform only offered 260 yuan. 100 yuan is the market price; anything over 200 yuan is expensive.

MMaria13579One of our best stays in China! This place was absolutely amazing. The ladies running it are hilarious and always made us laugh.
First of all - the rooms are really good for the price. We got upgraded to a much better room after our first night, free of charge. It’s also conveniently located next to grocery shops, cafes, restaurants and the beach, while still being a little out of the way from the hustle and bustle.
The food here is really good too - the (included) breakfast as well as what you can buy for lunch/dinner is really fresh. Because of the language barrier they tried to accommodate by providing more “western style” breakfasts for us, but when we realized and asked about it they made us a second breakfast that was like the one everyone else got.
They also helped us out with a driver to take us to the abandoned village, and booked our tickets back to Shanghai.
Also, the aircon here is FAST and reliable which we’ve realized isn’t a given after a few weeks in China. So that’s another (small yet important) plus for sure!
Usually I like to explore different places and stay at different accommodations if/when I revisit places, but I’d probably make an exception and stay here again if I ever come back to visit the island!

AAnonymous UserStaying at Shengsi Leju Village is very warm and feels like returning to your hometown for fun. The air is fresh and the transportation is convenient. The bus station is 1 minute away. It is also very close to the Jihu beach attractions. It only takes about 2 to 3 minutes by electric bike. We’re here! Shengsi Leju Village is also very close to Jihu Food Stalls! There are many food stalls, convenience stores, and snack stalls, and it’s very lively. We ate local specialties and seafood at the Yinghuixuan Seafood Stall, and the taste was great First class!

DDayuxiaoyuIt was extremely difficult to book a room after the typhoon. Ctrip coordinated the room search and arranged it in Lejia. As its name suggests, Happy Joy, the store is in the alley of the town. The B&B has a long history. I told the driver at the pier that they all knew that the delivery would be accurate and the distance would be great. The pier is not far away, and the streets of the town are full of restaurants. It is no problem to eat. The hot water in the B&B is large and the shower is comfortable. The owner is hospitable and even provides an extra bed and towels.
