"Totally recommend it. The amenities are great, everything is cleaned regularly and its location is great. The capsules are what you need and it feels really safe since there is a code for the room of the capsules and another code for the capsule itself. The check in was smooth and the staff is really professional as well.
Moreover, I would like to add that my passport was stolen and although originally I couldn’t obtain a refund, they decided to help me and change the dates so I could stay in the hostel. Lovely staff and lovely place. It was my first time in a hostel and I loved it"

"Stepping into the room felt like being back in a school dorm, with bunk beds. The lower bunk was a bit cramped above my head, making it easy to hit my head. As it's a 1-star budget hotel, they don't provide tissues, a kettle, or a hairdryer. The transportation is relatively convenient; directly across the street is a bus stop for bus number 4, which takes you directly to Lucerne train station in three stops. Next to the bus stop is a Thai restaurant. I tried their curry rice, and it was quite good. This restaurant took over from the previous Chinese restaurant, Panda, so be aware that many apps haven't updated this information yet. It's much cheaper to buy water at Denner, which is opposite the restaurant; a 1L bottle of mineral water costs 0.5 Swiss francs, which is significantly cheaper than at the Ibis front desk."

"I stayed in a suite, so the space was quite good. The room was clean, comfortable, and cozy. The only issue was the shower water pressure, which kept fluctuating between hot and cold. Also, check-out time is very strict at 11 AM, with a maximum extension of only half an hour, so do keep that in mind. Overall, this hotel is great for business travelers; the location is convenient, and the decor is very new. Recommended! 👍"

"Wow a wonderful stay! Location super convenient i was extra surprised! 10 minutes walk to the main station, or less by bus, and walking distance to the main attractions. Near to the lake and mountains. Coffee tea provided at the reception. Breakfast with diversity included and good price for a stay during Christmas.
2 twin beds instead of 1 double bed. A bit scary at night cause it’s small and old. But clean and lovely enough for a short stay considering all other factors. I love the bathroom btw, nice amenities tho"

"Right next to Lucerne train station, you can see it as soon as you step out. All of Lucerne's main attractions are nearby, and there was even a light show on the evenings we were there. The hotel sends a code via email that you can use for public transportation, but we didn't end up using it as we walked to all the main sights. There are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants right around the hotel, which was super convenient. The staff were very enthusiastic and incredibly nice. All in all, very satisfied."

"Location is very central in the old city part but warned that it's not acceptable with a car and the actual check-in happens in a nearby sister property. Wish we get this info in advance especially since we were with a car and was truly hectic getting to check-in. Room decent but don't expect much."

"Location wise is good as it’s right in the middle of the old town. Walking distance from the ferry dock and train station but stairs and cobblestones make it hard to drag your luggage. The only redeeming quality about the room is its size. The quadruple room is a good size for 4 adults with 4 luggages. However the amenities are close to nothing, the wifi is crap and the TV is always faulty. Cleanliness is average - doors are chipped and rusty, the tub is also chipped and dirty. We stayed quite a lot of nights and after the first two nights it’s like the housekeeping staff gave up on properly cleaning the room and replenishing the amenities. Would stay again only as a last resort."

"Convenient location, accessible by car but complicated, must enter from the back of the river. Good service staff, smiling, luxurious room, beautifully decorated, beautiful river view, beautiful light in the room, we stayed 3 people, not cramped, the bed is soft and comfortable, it is also a shopping area, shops close early, maybe because it is winter, welcome drink tastes great."

"It's a prison converted hotel, more like a hostel. Location is great, 10 minute's walk from train station. The room is very small, although our room has the toilet. Two suitcases cannot left open at same time.The luggage storage room near the entrance is unlocked, and not kept attended, and my suitcase belt was stolen in a few hours."

The hotel is well located, approximately a 9-minute walk from the nearest station, which made getting around convenient.
Room & Housekeeping:
The room was clean and well maintained throughout my 4-night stay, which I appreciated. However, the minibar was not refilled during the entire stay, which was disappointing and not what I would expect given the price paid.
Staff & Service:
Unfortunately, the service experience was inconsistent. The front desk staff appeared inexperienced and unsure about basic matters such as payment handling and invoicing, which caused unnecessary confusion. It felt as though the staff member may have been an intern without adequate supervision or training.
More concerning was the overall attitude at the counter, which came across as rude and unwelcoming. I sincerely hope this was not a case of discrimination, but the interaction especially with the man staff did not reflect the level of hospitality expected.
Value for Money:
While the hotel positioned itself as high-end in design, the service and experience felt surprisingly basic. For the price charged, it did not offer good value and did not meet the standards.
Overall:
Although the location and cleanliness were positives, the service shortcomings and lack of value significantly affected the overall experience

TT.HeiLocation good. Only a few minutrs walk from Luzern HBF. Room is clean. Love it, when I see how many sockets the room has near the desk and bed-side tables. Very convenient to recharge all the devices. Room temperature is also perfect. I dont need any heating even though I used to get cold easily even during autumn. Helpful and friendly staff at the front desk. Enjoyable experience.

PPENGThe pictures are all views from the window. See the beautiful scenery of Lake Lucerne. Because it is this, we evaluate 5 stars. The hotel is 4 stars in size and has the same facilities as the domestic express hotel. The room is quite large in Switzerland. The balcony is very nice to see the lake. It takes 8 or 9 minutes to get to the lake. There are more places to eat around, and the bus is still close. Go to the hotel to take the little cable car. The breakfast variety is too small, 30 Swiss francs a person, it is really cheaper, it is the simplest breakfast in the entire Swiss itinerary. The breakfast restaurant can see the lake, it is still good. The overall layout of the hotel is very good, people like it very much, the hotel service is also very good. Specifically, the hotel has a shuttle bus, saying that it can only be sent to the bus station from the hotel, and then take the bus to the train station. The driver actually sent us directly to the train station that day, touching. Lucerne is not big, the hotel location is OK, and it is convenient to go anywhere.

RRebecka BowGreat central hotel close to lake Lucerne. Great breakfast in the morning (until 11am on weekend and 10am midweek). Breakfast was cereal, yoghurt, sausage, bacon, bread, pastries, toast, meats, cheeses, fruit, eggs etc. Lots of selection and all lovely.
The lady on the reception desk was lovely and very helpful (think her name was jasmine).
Reception area great with a vending machine for anything needed.
Only let down was the actual room. Very worn and a very tired room. Such a shame as the rest of the hotel was lovely but unfortunately we wouldn't return as the hotel room was very worn and tired.

You check in yourself using the machine at the entrance, and then activate your room key card (pick it up from the small blue box nearby). The room is on the top floor. It's small but very clean and tidy. There's a large bed, suitable for two people. The bathroom is quite small, only fitting one person at a time. Downstairs, there's a cafe where you can have breakfast. It's suitable for tourists.
