"The hotel is close to the train station. The location is easy to find. It's about 10 minutes' walk away. It's just a bus ride away. The room is quite big. I booked a triple room. The double bed is comfortable. The single bed is a sofa bed. It's generally comfortable. In the evening, it's downstairs. A loud noise from the crowd at the bar was heard."
"Excellent stay with my family.
I was upgraded as well and the room was very spacious
Staff at the reception was very helpful and cooperative.
We all had a very good stay for 2 nights"
"Even though the location requires you to take a bus to the hotel around 20mins. Bus stop just outside the hotel. 2-3mins walk.
We were delighted with the hotel.
Very well thought out room and design very tasteful.
Very nice view of the lake.
The staffs are very friendly and helpful as well."

"The pictures are all views from the window. See the beautiful scenery of Lake Lucerne. Because it is this, we evaluate 5 stars. The hotel is 4 stars in size and has the same facilities as the domestic express hotel. The room is quite large in Switzerland. The balcony is very nice to see the lake. It takes 8 or 9 minutes to get to the lake. There are more places to eat around, and the bus is still close. Go to the hotel to take the little cable car. The breakfast variety is too small, 30 Swiss francs a person, it is really cheaper, it is the simplest breakfast in the entire Swiss itinerary. The breakfast restaurant can see the lake, it is still good. The overall layout of the hotel is very good, people like it very much, the hotel service is also very good. Specifically, the hotel has a shuttle bus, saying that it can only be sent to the bus station from the hotel, and then take the bus to the train station. The driver actually sent us directly to the train station that day, touching. Lucerne is not big, the hotel location is OK, and it is convenient to go anywhere."
"The hotel is very nice and the rooms are well equipped. Everything is there, also slippers and L'occitane products. The view of the city - if you have a good room - is wonderful. Ah, and the room is very clean !
On the negative side, the bed was uneven, maybe because it was used too much, so sleeping was a bit uncomfortable. Then, the rooms are not so spacious.
For one or two nights, I fully recommend coming here.
I will rather go to a more modern hotel next time because of the uneven mattress."
"The location is good, close to the train station and most sightseeing places in Luzern. The receptionists were all friendly and helpful. The only drawback of the hotel is noise levels. There are many restaurants around with outdoor seating so you would hear people chatting all the way till 11 pm. 5AM in the morning there would be loud street cleaning trucks. There was one night some bar nearby had loud drunk people noise till 2AM. There's no AC in the room so you have to leave the window open and deal with all the noises."
"Added 23 euros at the counter to upgrade to a room with a balcony facing the river.
Bed: The bedding is clean and hygienic, and the white quilt cover has a bumpy feel. It looks very pleasant to cover and is very comfortable. The mattress is firm and supportive, which is our favorite type;
Bathroom: relatively large, with wet and dry separation in the shower, and the toilet is clean;
Balcony: Go back to the room at night and sit on the balcony for a while, very comfortable and relaxing;
Front desk: The service staff is friendly and able to coordinate according to some of our requirements;
Overall very satisfied!"
"The hotel is in a prime location with convenient transportation. The rooms are clean and tidy, very quiet and the scenery is excellent. The service staff is enthusiastic and the facilities are complete and advanced. The experience is very satisfactory and it is very convenient to go anywhere in the old town."
"It was overall a good stay but the hotel is slightly far from the train station. Breakfast spread was great and rooms were clean"

Very Good
GGuest UserBefore check-in, you will receive an email with Lucerne's discount card. Download and generate a QR code, which allows you to ride for free. You can use the card number to connect to the city's free wifi.
Get out of the train station and take bus 1 or bus 19 from platform A or platform R. It's three stops away. Continue walking from Löwen Center department store. You will see the gym on the first floor. The brown glass is not conspicuous. Press the door-opening button at the entrance to enter. Take the elevator upstairs and check in on the machine. Then you will receive an email with the password for all doors. You can also click ”get your key” and press the icon to hold your phone close to the door lock to open the door without contact. Check-out procedures are also handled by yourself on this machine.
You don't have to make the bed yourself. A large towel and a pair of earplugs are provided. There is a row of recessed areas on the inside of the bed where you can put some items. The capsule is not stuffy and has air circulation settings. There is also storage space outside the capsule. Outside the room is a large cabinet for suitcases, which is really big enough. The password is a one-time password. It automatically bounces back to 0000 every time it is opened, so you have to set it again when you use it again.
There are four sinks, four hair dryers, four separate toilets, and four separate showers in the female bathroom. Remember to wipe the water with the floor towel provided by the store after taking a shower to facilitate the next person to use.
There is a large leisure area and reading area, providing some books and board games, and the floor-to-ceiling windows face the street outside. Everything is very clean and modern.
It should be noted that there is no kitchen, only a microwave and a kettle, but there are bowls, cups and tableware, but during breakfast time, due to limited space, they have to put out their charged breakfast (ham, boiled eggs, cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese...), so only the kettle is left.
GGuest UserI only stayed for one night as a stopover, but the hotel is very close to the station, and I have already arrived when I got off the bus and crossed the road. There is no air-conditioning in winter, but opening the windows is good enough! The room as a whole is so clean! The staff at the front desk are very kind and answer all questions! And the hotel is 5 miles away from the scenic spots, just walking distance! Moreover, a small supermarket is opposite the hotel, and it only takes a few steps to buy snacks! And there is a D restaurant on the lower floor of the subway station! Overall, it is highly recommended for travelers who want to catch the train the next day.
GGuest UserI recently stayed at the Cascada Hotel for 5 days and 4 nights, and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel is conveniently located very near the train station, just a 5-7 minute walk away, making it an ideal choice for travelers looking to avoid the hustle and bustle of the city center.
The service at the hotel was exceptional. The staff were incredibly helpful, even lending me an adaptor for my phone charger when I needed one. The amenities were also impressive, with complimentary use of the hotel minibar, including tea, water, coke, iced tea, and more—something most hotels do not offer.
The hotel is surrounded by a variety of shops and restaurants, adding to the convenience of the location. There's also an on-site restaurant known for its Spanish menu, which is definitely worth a visit.
My room was kept clean every day, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay. Overall, I truly enjoyed my time at the Cascada Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for great service, excellent amenities, and a peaceful yet convenient location.
RRaihanahIt was a great experience to stay here. Location not far away from Luzern train station. Just have to walk across the bridge while enjoying the Chapel Bridge. Then a bit walk along the street and shops to go to this hotel. Excellence service from the front staff. I meet 3 different staffs along the stay and all of them are very nice and helpful. They even gave the map for interesting places around Luzern. 1 lady help us to call our next hotel using her private phone. Appreciate that much. Kettle and microwave can use from Japanese restaurant under the hotel because they work together. Nice experience staying in prison room. They also have free luggage storage room. Would really recommend to stay here..
AAnonymous UserStayed in Ibis styles for 2 days. The hotel receptionists and staff were so approachable and very accommodating. They guided us on how to go about the city with the different transportation available and the must see attractions in Luzern. Breakfast offered a variety of foods. Very clean room and toilet. I will recommend it to my friends who will visit Switzerland.
KKCcccccccccCentrally located in a quiet street in the city centre near the main train station ; stylish renovation of the hotel and functional kitchenette in the room I stayed (can you imagine there is a dish washer in the room ?😂and every day the housekeeper used it for our dirty dishes); laundry room on the first room and cozy cafe on the ground floor; reasonable price considering a Swiss standard; overall, excellent (input the confirmation number from trip.com and your name when you need to do the self check in at the entrance indoors; the door is closed and looks locked but actually you can open it 😂) ; will book it again when coming here in Luzern again ) 👍
SShih Yuin ChewOne of the cheapest hostel options in Luzern, yet also the best.
Beautiful common area aside, the bed capsule is one of the comfiest of my 46-day Europe trip. Free huge luggage storage. And the shower facilities are as well-equipped/designed as many Japanese hostel. Location-wise, it’s 1min walk away from bus stop (and few minutes from an awesome glacial museum), super convenient.
The only weird thing was the electronic luggage storage failed on me two times, like I couldn’t open it after closing it with the electronic key. One of the times happened past midnight (receptionist had left), leaving me with no toothbrush/facial care to use before sleeping. Not sure what went wrong.
But overall I totally enjoyed my stay here. An accommodation option I’d prioritize next time I’m back to Luzern.
MMsia travellerThe hotel is quite a distance away from the train station moreover google maps is not updated as there is road under construction and it took some time for us to look for the correct way to the hotel. We arrived 30 mins earlier but the hotel wasn’t flexible and thoughtful and wanted to charge us $10 for early check-in. When we asked if can drop off luggage at their place, the hotel again wanted to charge $3 per piece. No hair dryer was provided in the room and we wanted to borrow from the front desk but it wasn’t available and asked to come back the next morning. We did so and they wanted to collect $20 as deposit. It’s additional hassle to use international adapter to plug in the hair dryer before able to use it.
AAnonymous UserA strange thing happened in the early morning. Around 5:40, when we were still sleeping, the doorbell suddenly rang, waking us up. How could someone ring the doorbell so early in the morning? The bell rang for a while and then stopped. Just as we were about to fall asleep, the doorbell rang again. It lasted for a while and then stopped. This time we were completely woken up and felt a little panicked. After all, we were abroad. When the doorbell rang for the third time, we went to the door to see what was going on. As soon as we walked to the door, we heard the sound of someone rushing downstairs in the corridor. Looking out through the peephole, the lights in the corridor were still on and no one was there. There couldn't be a thief. We suddenly lost all sleep and immediately contacted the landlord on WHATSAPP. There was no reply, so we contacted Ctrip customer service. It was not until 19:57 local time that Ctrip customer service contacted the landlord and told us that the hotel's reply was that because the apartment is located in a public area, it cannot control who rings the doorbell. The doorbell was indeed installed in the hallway. The name of the apartment was clearly written on the bottom of the doorbell. There should be no possibility of pressing the wrong button. Moreover, the doorbell should be set up with a doorbell shut-off function like a hotel, otherwise it will seriously affect the normal rest of the guests and make people doubt the safety.
What is worthy of praise is Ctrip's customer service, quick follow-up and responsible attitude.
The apartment is about 15 minutes' walk from the train station and about 5 minutes from the old town. The apartment is located next to a small street, and there are no people on the street at night. There is a double bed and a sofa in the apartment. The double bed is not big, and there is something wrong with the spring. It creaks when it moves.
The kitchen has an oven, refrigerator, and induction cooker. The hand-held shower head and rod are broken, so it can only be held by hand, which is very inconvenient.
