Barabas Lucerne
"Great hospitality, good location near the train station and also easy to find. The room is nice and clean."
Hotel Rothaus Luzern
"Noticed that tourist tax (Kurtaxe) was different from trip application ( Trip shows 7CHF for both but hotel charged CHF 8.20 for both)."
Capsule Hotel - Lucerne Old Town
"Amazing for capsule hotel! Everything 5 stars! Next door is Coop City supermarket, buy the cooked food and eat in the hotel, choose from the nice table or sofa. Feel free to use their tableware, comes with free flow or still/hot or sparking water! Just amazing! Their service-top notch! From cleanliness to friendliness, not to mention helpfulness. Just ask them anything, from tour guide to travel tips, recommendations or so on… Capsule is huge, good sound proof. Air ventilation very good. Free locker for you, just need to bring your own padlock. They allowed me to use it before check in and way after check in time. At this price and location, I feel this is definitely a 5 star capsule hotel! Will surely come back!"
Ibis Styles Luzern City
"Clean room and convenience place to visit nearby hot spot."
Luzern Youth Hostel
"One of the cheapest hostel options in Luzern, yet also the best. Beautiful common area aside, the bed capsule is one of the comfiest of my 46-day Europe trip. Free huge luggage storage. And the shower facilities are as well-equipped/designed as many Japanese hostel. Location-wise, it’s 1min walk away from bus stop (and few minutes from an awesome glacial museum), super convenient. The only weird thing was the electronic luggage storage failed on me two times, like I couldn’t open it after closing it with the electronic key. One of the times happened past midnight (receptionist had left), leaving me with no toothbrush/facial care to use before sleeping. Not sure what went wrong. But overall I totally enjoyed my stay here. An accommodation option I’d prioritize next time I’m back to Luzern."
Hotel de la Paix
"The locations is very easy to find and it's actually not far from the Luzern SBB station. Near the hotel there is also trolley bus station that can get to the train station so it's pretty convenient. It is also located just nearby the old town, so it's accessible to most of the key places like Luzern lake side, pier, old town, lion monument and etc. They only provide shower gels in bottles and there is no other amenities. No kettles provided but they have free coffee, tea and hot water to be refill located in the hotel lobby so it's still ok. Overall I do enjoy my stay, but I have to asked for extra pillow due to the pillow given is too soft."
Cascada Boutique Hotel
"Nice and cozy hotel…. Good breakfast and good service"
The Lubo - Self Check-in
"The space is quite large and well-designed, without feeling cheap. The lighting is a bit dim, but that's common in Switzerland, and the lighting design here is actually quite good. Check-in and check-out are fully self-service, which works perfectly. The only downside is navigating a lot of stairs with luggage in the old town."
Hotel Drei Könige Luzern
"Excellent stay! The location is super convenient. Staff is wonderful, breakfast is great! Lots of choice. Only small downside would be the bed being super soft. But that might be because I'm used to sleeping on a matress that is basically a wooden plank😁 Will definitely return! Luzern is such a wonderful city!"

The Hotel Lucerne, Autograph Collection
"We stayed at this hotel over a decade ago when it was a hip, independent boutique property. Sadly, its current incarnation under Marriott’s Autograph Collection is a shadow of its former self. The rooms are dated and poorly maintained: scuffed timber floors, tired furnishings, and old, frayed towels. One of the face towels we had looked like a rag. There was no minibar, the bathroom plugs didn’t work, and worst of all, the mattresses in two separate rooms we stayed in were both uncomfortably hard that made sleep nearly impossible. The breakfast was equally disappointing, with a sparse, uninspired spread—I was served the saddest-looking fried eggs I’ve ever seen. This is, at best, a three-and-a-half-star hotel and should not be marketed as an upscale property. While the service was warm and the location remains excellent, the hotel is long overdue for a complete refurbishment."
Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern
"Very good ,best in Luzern"
Lucerne Lake View Apartments
"Very good. I booked this hotel for a friend. This is my first time staying in a foreign B&B. Facilities: The facilities are very complete. Almost all furniture and other items are available. I will stay here next time I come to play. It is really comfortable."
Renaissance Lucerne Hotel
"Chaotic management and arbitrary deductions! Domestic partners must pay attention to the confusion when booking this hotel. On the day of check-in, because there was an additional fee for bringing children, the note written by the front desk clerk was 80 euros ➕ city tax, which worked out to 200 euros for 2 days, and the payment was deducted on the same day. , signed by me. As a result, 237 euros were deducted at 7 o'clock in the morning on the day we left, and 90 euros were deducted for breakfast at noon. Because our schedule was early every day, we didn't book breakfast, and we didn't even have breakfast. Therefore, 2 charges were deducted without my knowledge. Only the first one was signed and understood by me, which led me to think that my credit card was stolen. Only through the credit card center did I find out that it was all deducted by this hotel! ! !"
Château Gütsch
"I was disappointed with the room I allegedly booked as Duplex. It was not the castle accommodation as I had hoped to experience. I like to warn others not to book these rooms which are like a chamber maid’s rooms no. 50-54. I had to go through the function room to get to my room which is along a corridor apparently for the maids’ quarters in the olden days. 😟 Furthermore these rooms windows facing the courtyard, extremely noisy when there is a party till 11 pm. I spend almost €400 per night for a horrible castle experience stay."
Grand Hotel National Luzern
"I stayed at the most expensive hotel of my life. All I can say is that it was incredibly luxurious and amazing! They had a well-stocked mini-bar, and even chocolates before bed. Breakfast was delicious too."
Hotel Schweizerhof Luzern
"excellent hotel"
HERMITAGE Lake Lucerne - Beach Club & Lifestyle Hotel
"The hotel environment is first-class. I stayed on the first floor, directly facing the lake. There's also a sunset bar nearby, and you can even go out to sea from here. It was very pleasant and carefree. The restaurant views are also fantastic."
Hotel Monopol Luzern
"Stayed here during my Switzerland trip and really enjoyed my experience! The location is honestly one of the best; right beside the train station and within walking distance to the lake, old town and many attractions, which made travelling around so convenient. After long day trips, it was nice being able to return to the hotel so easily. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious enough for a pleasant stay. The staff were also friendly and helpful whenever needed. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great location and hassle-free stay!"
Hotel Alpina Luzern
"Receptionist was friendly, patient and helpful. Hotel was conveniently located. Room was small, light bulb spoiled in the other part of the room and wasn't replaced. Coffee and tea bags provided. Bathroom was very small. Lift was very old and small. Can only fit 1 pax and a luggage each time. No frills hotel. Enjoyed the proximity to the train station, old town and the lake."
Hotel Goldener Stern - Contactless Check-IN
"good location, fun with a lot of small small thing the landromaf is just less than 5 min walk away. and there is a nice breakfast place with local pastry while i am waiting for my laundry"
Hotel Central Luzern
"Great service and convenient location. The hotel had sent a message beforehand saying there was no air conditioning, but I didn't pay attention to it, which was my mistake. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a heatwave during my stay in Lucerne, and it was miserable!"
Ibis Budget Hotel Luzern City
"Small but nice hotel. Very near to the bus station. The breakfast was superb"
Waldstaetterhof Swiss Quality Hotel Lucerne
"Veey good locaton and room size is good. Good service as well. Just that no air-conditioning in the room. Pillow is very soft and flat which I dont like."
