"The hotel facilities are clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped. The shower water was nice and hot. The hotel's location is excellent, offering a fantastic 180-degree panoramic view. The lobby downstairs is spacious and beautifully decorated. The owner was incredibly warm and thoughtful, helping us plan our itinerary right from when we booked the room. She advised us on how to avoid wasting time traveling between the two villages on the scenic bus and even booked our bus tickets back to Guilin for the next day. After checking out, she kindly drove us to the parking lot. The rice noodles for breakfast and the bamboo chicken and rice for dinner were delicious, and we even received complimentary glutinous rice wine. Highly recommended!"

"The location of this hotel is simply magical, right in the heart of the Longji rice fields. However, the language barrier was a real challenge. Even with a translator, communication was often limited to “hello” and “yes,” which made it difficult to organize activities or transportation. The included breakfast, on the other hand, was excellent and very generous. As for the skylight in the room, which was supposed to offer a view of the sky, it acts like a mirror in the evening... too bad!"

"This place is probably as deep into Longji as you can get. We arrived on a rainy day, and the mountain paths were muddy and difficult to navigate. Luckily, the owner was incredibly helpful and even drove us up and down the steepest, most challenging part of the trail – really appreciate that! Our room had a tatami mat and floor-to-ceiling windows that looked directly onto the terraced fields. It was a shame it was so foggy and cloudy, I could only imagine the view."

"Highly recommend this guesthouse! You definitely won't regret staying here when you visit Dazhai Jinkeng Rice Terraces!! The car can drive directly to the hotel entrance, so you don't have to drag your luggage up, which is a huge plus! The entire design is natural wood, and the room facilities and toiletries are incredibly thoughtful, down to the smallest detail!! The indoor wooden floors are so clean you can roll around barefoot, making you feel right at home!!! It's perfect for families with kids. Plus, it has such great style! The kids loved catching fish in the rice paddies and the swing on the terrace. The hotel's views and location are superb! The spicy chicken was delicious, and the glutinous rice wine was excellent; the kids loved it!! The housekeeper was very attentive. We'll definitely be back next time! 👍👍👍"

"The location is good. From balconi can see the rice terrace and walk for 20min up to 九龙五虎观景点 Nine Dragon Five Tigers Scenic Viewpoint. The room is nice but ha no tea/caffe We asked for the show time at the Huangluo village but hotel did not give us any info. Saying that they don’t have any idea about the show. We asked for a ride to Huangluo Yao Village that is 10minutes ride and the guy in the reception charged us 70¥. After all, we need to know how to reach Guilin from the village but still the guy replied saying that we have to take a didi taxi. Hopefully, the people in the village are so friendly and helped me and my daughter to get the bus to Guilin for 80¥ only."

Getting there didn’t feel like a hassle at all—it was close enough that I didn’t have to wake up too early or worry about complicated transportation. It made the whole trip feel more relaxed. What I liked most was being able to just plan my visit without stressing about travel time. I could head out when I felt like it and still have plenty of time to enjoy the views. It also made it easier to go back and rest after exploring, which I really appreciated after walking around the terraces. If you’re visiting mainly for the rice terraces, this location just makes things simpler. It’s not about luxury or anything over the top—it’s just practical and convenient, which honestly made a big difference in my overall experience."

"This is hands down the best homestay I've ever experienced! The hosts (the owner and his wife) are incredibly kind and welcoming. My suitcase had become exceptionally heavy after several days of travel and shopping. Without a moment's hesitation, even in the pouring rain, the owner single-handedly carried it up multiple flights of stairs. I was deeply touched by his incredible effort; it was genuinely hard work. Dinner was a heartwarming experience, shared with their entire family, and their children were absolutely adorable. The hosts are genuine, hardworking individuals from an ethnic minority group, dedicated to running their homestay with integrity and care. No matter what needs or concerns arose during my stay, the hosts enthusiastically went above and beyond to assist, genuinely caring for every guest. This is something I experienced firsthand. Finding such a wonderful place and meeting such kind-hearted people is truly a lucky and heartwarming part of any journey. This review reflects my honest opinion; if you're reading it, you can book this place without a second thought. The scenery, needless to say, is absolutely stunning, and the location is equally superb. So, when comparing similar value for money, I chose an environment that offered more warmth and positive energy. Encountering such fortunate and heartwarming people and experiences during a tiring journey truly re-energizes us, empowering us to face life with renewed strength and diligence. I believe this is precisely the meaning of why we embark on journeys! "Trip.com Full Version Praise (Shop Name: Slang Between) Highly recommend Longji Terraces Jinkeng Dazhai Lianyujian B&B! The location is excellent, located in the middle of the No. 1 and No. 2 observation decks. Bring your own parking lot, you can drive directly to the downstairs of the hotel by car, and there is also an elevator. It is especially worry-free to carry your luggage up and down the stairs. The homestay is newly renovated, the design is elegant and attentive, and the whole house is cleaned spotlessly. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows of the room can enjoy the beautiful view of the thousands of floors of the terraces while lying on the bed. The view is super wide, and you can quietly enjoy the sunrise of the terraces in the morning. The outdoor terrace is facing the whole terrace, and taking pictures, blowing hair, and daze are particularly healing. The boss is super enthusiastic and real. The home-cooked dishes taste great. The yellow stewed chicken and Putian fish are super delicious. They also give a large pot of homemade rice wine, which tastes mellow. Before leaving, I also sent a warm heart gift. The food and accommodation experience was full. Come to Longji Terraces to stay and choose this one with closed eyes!"

"Our stay at Yundu Panjing Mountain House was absolutely incredible 🤍 The place is stunning, with breathtaking views over the rice terraces, truly a magical setting where you feel peaceful from the moment you arrive. The hospitality was exceptional. The team took such great care of us throughout our stay. They even helped us buy local rice directly from villagers and surprised us with lovely farewell gifts. Their kindness and attention to detail really made the experience special 🥹 The room was very comfortable, clean, and perfectly matched the atmosphere of the village. Waking up here surrounded by nature and incredible mountain views is unforgettable. And of course, a special shoutout to Bobo, the hotel’s mascot 🐶 the sweetest and friendliest dog, who made our stay even warmer and more enjoyable! "Absolutely fantastic stay, the owners are extremely hospitable and the food served (both the free afternoon tea and the paid dinners) is very good, also had fun dressing up in the ethnic costumes (flexible on when to borrow the costumes, I tried it on in the evening and when returning them, owner recommended holding on to them for another round of photo-taking in the morning when the light is better). Good location to start walks to the various viewpoints to see the rice terraces and also for the bus service to Dazhai."
