"Amazing service from the hotel owner. lady boss is so nice. location is right in the hesrt of all the eateries. perfect place to stay if you want to visit the walki street. just take note that in the shower room, if you re in fanily room, staying with other people or adult kids, the shower room can be a little bit incovenient due to less hanger and you may want some privacy to ooen door to take your towel. but we were good as we made do with it."

"I never leave reviews but this little hotel is exceptional. It is conveniently located between key city landmarks, within walking distance of the imperial gate and the ancient old town — and a simple trip on the metro from the train station. Above all, the hotel is exceedingly peaceful. The rooms are designed largely in natural wood and soft, pale colors, with big windows letting in plenty of light. Mine looked out into a small courtyard, which echoed with the soothing sound of flowing water from what I assumed was a fountain underneath. A small window-side table with a lovely tea-set made for a perfect place to read and write; I would think this hotel would make a wonderful retreat for a writer, or someone simply hoping to get away, think, and sleep soundly. The staff were very kind and helpful and even brought breakfast to my room in the morning. I was sad to leave and would have stayed for longer if I did not have commitments elsewhere. "

"Stayed for 2 nights. The location is superb, the room was amazing, the service as well. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Luoyang was my stop between Beijing and Xi'an and out of all the accommodations my stay here is easily my favorite. There is one only one minor issue that stopped me from rating the facilities 5/5 which was the shower water pressure which was a bit weak for my tastes. They also have smart controls (like Amazon Alexa) and a smart toilet, which might be interesting to a lot of people."

"We recently checked into the Liangyi Xunji Chinese Courtyard B&B with our kids, and we absolutely fell in love with it! 💗 The antique courtyard is incredibly charming, with picturesque views at every turn, and the cleanliness is impeccable—spotless even in the smallest nooks and crannies ✨. The facilities are comprehensive and thoughtfully designed, so much so that our kids didn't want to leave! The service is truly exceptional; the staff are wonderfully warm and enthusiastic, responding to any request instantly! Its location is fantastic, just steps away from Shizijie Night Market and Luoyi Ancient City, making it super convenient for exploring, dining, and sightseeing. A subway entrance is also right nearby 🚇. For a family trip, especially with children, this place is an absolute winner—you can't go wrong! I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone, and we'll definitely be back!"

"The laundry facilities were incredibly convenient! Especially during summer travel when clothes get soaked, being able to wash them is a lifesaver. It means you don't have to pack too much or worry about running out of clean clothes, ensuring you always have something fresh and comfortable to wear. The only slight drawback is the limited number of washing machines, so you might need to wait or get lucky to use one. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay. The location is excellent, just a 7-minute walk from Longmen Station, and very convenient for visiting the Longmen Grottoes."

"My colleague stayed here in May and highly recommended it. They enjoyed a 4-day in-depth tour of Luoyang. Unfortunately, I only had one night here as I needed to visit several other places. I can assure you, this is a genuine review, not a fake one. Here are the details: 1. **Price**: The price isn't just reasonable; it's incredibly affordable. 2. **Service**: The owner and staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. 3. **Facilities**: The facilities were comprehensive and well-maintained. 4. **Ambiance**: The hotel has a very distinctive and charming decor style. 5. **Location & Amenities**: It's very close to Luoyi Old Town, and the hotpot restaurant next door serves excellent food. As an added bonus, they offer complimentary souvenirs, and there's free drinking water and yogurt from the fridge in the lobby. Regarding a minor downside, parking can be a bit difficult. However, this isn't the hotel's fault, as it's common for hotels near tourist attractions. The owner even offered to reimburse parking fees, or even taxi fares. This is actually a significant issue for Luoyang as a city that needs improvement, and it's unrelated to the hotel. If you're traveling independently and without a car, staying at this hotel is an absolutely fantastic choice."

"The hotel's location is fantastic – very close to the high-speed train station, making getting around incredibly convenient. Right at the entrance, you'll find a snack street offering a wide variety of delicious local treats. A large shopping mall is also just a short walk away, only about 1 km. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the rooms themselves were spotless and well-maintained. The complimentary fruit provided upon check-in was a lovely touch. Highly recommend this place!"

"I've stayed at three hotels in Luoyang, and this one offered the worst value for money. Nothing was offered upon check-in. During check-out, the front desk staff was overly enthusiastic, offering a small gift (a few pastries). As soon as I thanked her, she immediately asked us to give a 5-star review on the spot. I said I'd review it later, but she insisted we do it immediately, explaining it was for a performance assessment by her supervisor. I really disliked this. It makes me wonder if their high ratings are gamed this way. The room rate was over 500 RMB, much more expensive than Zhongzhou Hotel just a few hundred meters away, and even pricier than the 5-star Dongshan Hotel. I had expected something premium, but it felt more like an unsophisticated guesthouse. The other two hotels were cheaper but offered more professional and warmer service, plus complimentary fruit and snacks. Honest Review: 😀 Pros: 1. The quality of the in-room amenities was quite good. The slippers, made of cotton and linen, were very comfortable; I even kept them to use at subsequent hotels. 2. The bathroom had a good wet/dry separation. Having a laundry room with a dryer was very convenient. 3. The buffet breakfast was delicious. 😩 Cons: 1. The soundproofing in the room was extremely poor. The family next door woke up before 6 AM, and I could clearly hear their conversations, even their yawns. The staff's attitude wasn't exactly warm; they got the job done but lacked a genuinely professional and welcoming demeanor. When we checked in with two children, they didn't offer extra slippers or toothbrushes. This wasn't a huge issue, as we had brought our own, but this indifference, especially when contrasted with the forced 'enthusiasm' at check-out, was off-putting. 2. I'm not sure if it was just the layout, but the family room felt cramped and had a strange configuration. 3. The decor wasn't grand or tasteful, which wasn't to my liking."

"This is a brand new hotel and far surpassed my expectations. The facility is beautiful and modern. All expected amenities were included. Gorgeous bathroom with tub and separate toilet and shower areas. Breakfast is an amazing buffet of western and Chinese food. My only complaint is that the toilet had a faint smell."

"I rarely write reviews, but this was my first time in Luoyang. After looking at many hotels and guesthouses, I ultimately decided on Fengye with some hesitation. However, I was genuinely not disappointed! The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, the elevators were efficient, and the room amenities were also very new. The location is absolutely unbeatable – it's only a few minutes' walk from Jiefang Road subway station, at the intersection of two subway lines, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere. There's a shopping mall right downstairs, placing it firmly in the city center. I'll definitely stay here again!"
