"I originally booked a queen room, but the owner upgraded us to a twin room so we could see the street view, which was really nice of them! As someone with social anxiety, it was a huge relief. The owner felt like a friendly and genuine local. There's no elevator, but the owner helped us with our luggage, they were truly amazing. Even though it's a guesthouse, it felt more like a hotel in terms of standards; it was very clean and much better than I expected. Most importantly, the room was toasty warm, it had that sunny scent, and felt very safe. There's a restaurant downstairs, and breakfast is free. I especially recommend their yak meat hotpot, it's incredibly fresh and the soup is genuinely delicious. My friend and I couldn't even finish it all, the portions are very generous. Eating that in winter was so warming, it was a truly great experience. I was really touched by how kind the owner was 😭"

"This hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable, right inside the Shuangqiao Valley scenic area, directly across from Wuse Mountain. The massive floor-to-ceiling windows in the room offer incredible views – I even managed to capture a time-lapse of the starry sky at night. The room itself is spacious and well-equipped. Despite sub-zero temperatures outside, the underfloor heating kept the room perfectly warm, with no hint of cold. There's also a bathtub for a relaxing hot soak, and the shower is fantastic. Even the toilet in the bathroom is smart! From a facilities perspective, this hotel is truly flawless. What's more, the service is incredibly thoughtful, and everyone is so welcoming. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit."

"This place completely exceeded our expectations. The room was incredibly clean and beautifully designed, with a very cozy atmosphere that made us feel relaxed the moment we stepped in. The bed was extremely comfortable we slept so well every night. The view was absolutely stunning. Waking up to such breathtaking scenery every morning was truly unforgettable and made the stay even more special. The service was outstanding. The staff were super friendly, warm, and genuinely caring. They took excellent care of us and were always happy to help. They kindly recommended many delicious local restaurants and shared great tips on beautiful places to visit around Rilong, which made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. The location is also very convenient,staff always bring us to wherever we want to go . Overall, this was an amazing stay, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place in Rilong Town. "Local hotel located near the entrance of Changpinggou and Haizigou. You can inform them in advance to take you to Shuangqiaogou (additional charges, 10-15 mins from hotel). They cannot communicate in English so you need translating apps, but it's still doable because they are quite helpful. Most of the menus are tasty but oily. We are not into oily dishes but we still recommend stir-fried Yak's meat and hot pot. And the least oily dish is egg fried rice."

The hot tub offered excellent privacy, and the water was crystal clear. Soaking in the tub at night while listening to music created an amazing ambiance. "Quality guaranteed, Vienna Hotels are my top choice for trips. The room was comfortable and cozy, with sunlight streaming through the window and beautiful sunset views. The smart toilet seat was heated, and the shower water was hot enough to chase away the chill. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. There was an oxygen concentrator, but we didn't experience altitude sickness so we didn't use it. Breakfast was abundant, featuring my favorite freshly ground coffee. Parking and a laundry room are available, making it convenient for self-driving travelers. It would be even better if they had slow charging piles."

"Choosing this guesthouse for our trip was definitely the right call. The town was wonderfully quiet at night, ensuring a great night's sleep. I was particularly impressed with the bathroom facilities, which were on par with those of luxury hotels. A special shout-out goes to the guesthouse restaurant. Despite its high-up location, which meant we had to take a few breaks walking up for meals, the owner's cooking was simply divine! It is the only four-star environmentally friendly resort hotel of Siguniang mountain area combining accommodation, catering, entertainment, business, conference reception and other services as a whole. It is approved by the Sichuan Provincial Tourism Bureau as designated foreign tourist hotel.The hotel is 100 meters away from the Shuangqiaogou. Visitors driving by themselves can park their cars at the hotel and go to Shuangqiaogou. It covers an area of 70 mu and its building area is 11,000 square meters. It has 93 deluxe and suite rooms, 159 beds, four meeting rooms and a Chinese restaurant which can hold 160 people for dining.

"This hotel is literally steps away from the Shuangqiao Valley entrance, less than 50 meters, and easily the best hotel in the immediate vicinity. They have a massive parking lot, which is free for guests. It was completely packed the next morning with self-driving tourists heading to the valley, which really highlights its convenience. In contrast, parking at nearby B&Bs is usually right by their entrance, often crowded and feeling less secure. The lady at the front desk provided truly excellent service. She was incredibly helpful and responsive, answering all our questions and making us feel right at home. Thumbs up! Our room was adequately sized. Although our standard room booking indicated 1.1-meter wide beds, they felt wider, closer to 1.2 meters, which was a nice bonus. Breakfast offered a decent selection, certainly enough to fill you up, though a greater variety would make it even better. After a day exploring Shuangqiao Valley, it was pleasant to unwind in the lobby for a while before heading up to the room. The room is advertised as having diffused oxygen supply, which I'm not familiar with, and honestly, I didn't notice any particular difference. The main drawback is the price; it's quite steep, more than double that of surrounding guesthouses. I felt the value for money wasn't quite there. The hotel could definitely do better in this regard."

GGuest UserI stayed in the King Size Room on the top floor, which I believe is the largest room in the hotel, and it truly felt magical. The room has a big balcony with stunning views — beautiful both during the day and at night. It was honestly one of the most memorable stays I’ve ever had. The hotel staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. I’m not sure if the hotel is family-run, but if it is, you can really feel the warmth and care in everything they do. The food was also delicious — another highlight of the stay. Overall, I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. It’s absolutely worth the money, and I would definitely come back again.

GGuest UserOne of the most incredible hotel we have stayed in! Breathtaking and excellent views of Siguniang mountains and a stream from the moment you stepped into the lobby. The rooms are exactly as advertised, with zero obstruction of the snowcapped mountains - spectacular views from the room windows! We were worried that the pictures from the booking page would differ but it was exactly the same. The hospitality at the hotel was top notch, extremely bespoke to one's comfort and at the same time very homely and warm. We even got a free upgrade to the best rooms in the property and they even took the effort to celebrate one of our birthday which happened to coincide with our stay. The two hotel owners (张哥和冷哥), as well as the staff treated us like family, with lovely meals at the hotel (their breakfast noodles were yummy!), recommendations on how best to tour Siguniang mountain valleys and even bringing us to the local convenience stores in the nearby town. Do not hesitate to reach out to the owners to arrange for a horse to be brought to the property for a photoshoot - the pictures on a horse with the mountains in the backdrop are stunning! All in all, this is one of the best hotels we have stayed in and we will definitely be back! Highly recommended for anyone who wants a relaxing get away with jaw dropping views of Siguniang mountains and the best hospitality that Sichuan can offer!

It even had a professional oxygen concentrator, and I was pleasantly surprised to find high-quality Le Labo toiletries. The room faced Siguniang Mountain, and honestly, I felt like I could just stay in and enjoy the view. What truly deserves a special mention is how wonderful everyone at the guesthouse was. The Matsutake hotpot they prepared was delicious (seriously, you *have* to try their homemade chili sauce!). The staff member was very kind; knowing we were suffering from altitude sickness, he offered us ibuprofen and glucose. Plus, when he found out we had previously stayed at another guesthouse, he proactively offered to pick up our luggage first so we could go straight to the attractions, which saved us a huge amount of time! I hope this place continues to thrive and do well!

__WeChat447036****This hotel is incredibly stylish. It feels super high-end, with Marshall speakers throughout and L'Occitane toiletries in every room. The rooms even come with oxygen concentrators, and the owner upgraded us to a bathtub room, which offered truly breathtaking and healing views – we even saw the 'sunlit golden mountains' (rijin jinshan) in the morning. From the moment we arrived, we experienced truly VIP service. The owner personally drove us everywhere, probably five or six round trips in a single day. In the afternoon, when we went out to take photos, the staff brought us a fruit platter and kept us supplied with drinks, including Rhodiola rosea tea and ginger ale. The owner even tried to get some sparklers for our photos, but they burned out in a second – a funny little incident. What touched us most was that it was the winter solstice on the day we checked in. Since we weren't going down the mountain that evening, the staff brought us dumplings. They were so delicious that I had two plates! When I offered to pay, they said it was complimentary, which made me feel a little embarrassed. Furthermore, when we left, the owner drove us to Shuangqiao Valley without any extra charge, even though it's typically 30 RMB per person, the same as outside services. They even helped us transfer our luggage to our second guesthouse. The owner is incredibly kind, it almost brought tears to my eyes. Overall, this hotel is absolutely amazing! Within a year, I've traveled to several countries in Asia and Europe, and even stayed in high-end chain hotels, but not a single one had service and facilities that could compare to Xing Shan Yue Ying. I truly didn't want to leave and it left me with the most wonderful memories. I wish the owner a prosperous business and hope to visit again!

NNM.KALocated about a 10 mins walk from the Changpinggou entrance. If your bus drops you off in front of the entrance, do not take the hills on the left. Just go straight for about 500 meters, and you will arrive. As a Muslim traveller, the nearest halal restaurant is a bit far, about a 30 mins walk. However, the hotel serves breakfast starting from ¥20 and you can request to suit your dietary needs. To reach Shuangqiaogou, you will need to take a yellow minibus, which costs ¥15 one way. Make sure to carry some extra cash in case the driver’s WeChat Pay does not accept foreign card transactions, just like mine did. The room was the best I’ve ever had during my stay in Sichuan, very comfortable with heated floors. The atmosphere and surroundings were breezy and peaceful. I honestly have no complaints at all! I totally loved this hotel! The owner went the extra mile by picking me up from the Changpinggou entrance when I lost my way. Hats off! Also, special thanks to the two girls who helped me catch my bus back to Chengdu on my last day. All the staff were super friendly and I felt very welcomed and at home. It truly feels like home here. Highly recommended for all solo female travellers. If I ever return to this area, I would definitely choose this hotel again.

GGuest UserFirst and foremost, the location is superb, especially for my room type, as the balcony offered direct, stunning views of Mount Siguniang. However, be aware that the access road has a narrow stretch where local drivers tend to speed; we even had a close call. Parking at the guesthouse entrance can also be challenging for new drivers due to a steep slope. The room itself is on the smaller side but perfectly adequate for two people. It's worth noting that the in-room oxygen machine is a paid service, activated by scanning a QR code, and reportedly costs 68 yuan per hour. One minor point: the glass partition between the room and the balcony was a bit dirty. A good clean would greatly improve the view for photos. On a positive note, the guesthouse owner is incredibly kind and helpful! I accidentally left an item behind, and they went out of their way to find it and ship it to me via SF Express. Plus, the guesthouse dog is absolutely adorable and playful!

GGuest UserOur stay in this hotel was amazing! The room is comfortable and clean. You have to walk uphill to get to the hotel which can be a bit hard with a large backpack but it's fine. It is very close to the ticket office and entrance of Changpinggou (5mins), and around 10 mins from Haizi Valley entrance which is the one we did. The staff is very warm and welcoming, they helped us book the van back to Chengdu. Is right next to the main road where restaurants and c-stores are located. Totally recommend!

AAnonymous UserI came for a competition, and the hotel's proximity to the main venue was very convenient. I booked a 270-degree view room; although it's surrounded by buildings, the distant mountain view is quite nice. The hotel was under renovation during the day, and being street-side, some noise was unavoidable, but that's to be expected for the convenience. The staff were all super helpful and accommodating! They even helped carry my luggage upstairs after check-in on the first day. However, there's no elevator, and climbing stairs at high altitude for the first time really left me breathless 😭. It happened to snow during my stay, and while the air conditioning and underfloor heating at night were quite effective, I still felt a draft coming in. I hope the hotel considers improving this. Overall, I'm still very satisfied!
