"Excellent Ocean views from our Room. Very clean.and mini bar was inclusive, and replenished daily, coffee only 2 capsules could do with more. Breakfast was good (very busy but mid-autumn Festival period so.expected), wide variety of both Chinese & European food. Negative points for a supposedly 5 star hotel, there is no food ordering room services, for breakfast, lunch, dinner, & late night snacks. You can order local takeaways and delivery to hotel lobby. No hotel car services available, even when requested 1-2 days in advance, had to use local Didi services."

"This was my second stay at this hotel, and it was just as clean, tidy, and odor-free as the first time. The service was excellent, and this visit, I even received a small gift! The room was very spacious, and both main windows offered wide, open views of the sea. I'll definitely be back next year! 😊"

"It was a great experience. My husband also said it was the best hotel he had stayed in so far, with good service and environment. After staying for two nights, we stayed for another night. Considering that we had to leave in the middle of the night, we chose the cheaper Yuexiang Twin Room. We called to ask if we could not change rooms, and the counter readily agreed to upgrade the room for free. In the evening, we also provided eight-treasure porridge and hot milk for the children. Mineral water was also unlimited. The room was quiet and equipped with an air purifier. It was very convenient to go to various attractions. It was really great. Thumbs up 👍👍Highly recommended 👍"

"Since we were traveling with a child, they upgraded us to a larger room, and the facilities were excellent. The location is superb, with shuttle service to the pier. The butler also planned the most efficient and convenient routes based on where we wanted to go, and their suggestions were really reliable. We initially booked dinner at the hotel restaurant just for convenience, but the dinner turned out to be an absolute surprise! The seafood was incredibly fresh and tasted even better than some of the highly-rated restaurants in Zhoushan – it left a deep impression. There's also a trendy cafe right outside that's great for photos. The service was incredibly thoughtful; they anticipated and provided for all our needs, even the ones we hadn't thought of, like currency exchange, change, and booking morning classes. This trip was a bit rushed, so next time, I'll definitely stay for two nights and try out a morning class."

"We took advantage of the tail end of summer to go on a family trip to Zhoushan. We had originally booked a hotel in Zhujiajian for several days, but after our first day, the experience wasn't great and the value wasn't good, so we decided to check out. We then found the newly opened Angsana Hotel in Donggang New Town, near Zhujiajian. Check-in was quite crowded, so we had to wait a while. Seeing the wait, the front desk guy not only gave us a welcome gift but also upgraded us to a private hot spring room. 😊 The lady who guided us in even offered us ice cream, which was an instant blessing. 🥰🥰🥰 The hotel is nestled halfway up a mountain, overlooking the ocean and backing onto the beautiful Luotang Line (unfortunately, some sections are currently under construction). At the foot of the mountain lies Wuling Wetland Park, perfect for an evening stroll, with direct access to the beach. The hotel manager even gave us a complimentary hot spring experience. 🥰 Every staff member was so attentive and provided the best service. We've already felt the warmth of summer, and we're looking forward to returning to experience Angsana Zhoushan in winter. ❤️❤️❤️"

"The hotel offered a complimentary travel photography session. The service was excellent, and the photos turned out beautifully, which I was very satisfied with. There were no hidden costs, and both the photographer and the young lady who assisted us were incredibly warm and welcoming. Overall, the experience was fantastic! We received a complimentary upgrade to a Zen-style bathtub room. The room offered a pleasant ambiance and was spotlessly clean. The guest building is separate from the front desk. While the front desk lobby was air-conditioned, the ground floor lobby and elevators of the guest building had no AC, making it uncomfortably hot. I had specifically paid extra for breakfast because I tend to wake up early and was concerned about potential crowds and queues on the island later. However, hotel breakfast started at 6:30 AM, and the restaurant would not open before then. With the first ferry departing at 6:20 AM, the timings clashed, so I couldn't have the hotel's breakfast and ended up eating out. Moreover, takeaway was not allowed for breakfast. Complimentary disposable toiletries only included a toothbrush and slippers; combs, razors, cotton swabs, shower caps, and soap were all chargeable extras. The parking voucher included 24 hours of free parking per night's stay, with an hourly charge of 8 RMB for any time exceeding that. The hotel is located approximately 800 meters from the ferry terminal."

"Facilities: Brand new, quite modern, high-tech, and smart. Hygiene: Clean, tidy, and well-arranged. Environment: Beautiful, with a great location. It's right next to Baolong Plaza, making dining and entertainment convenient. There's also a park nearby, perfect for kids to play. Service: Warm and enthusiastic. They had already registered my car plate number before check-in, which was very thoughtful. If I come to Zhoushan for a business trip again, I will definitely choose Universal Hotel."
