It's also a quick taxi ride, about 8 RMB, to Wugongsi Pier."

I could hear conversations from the room next door, and since our room was quite close to the restaurant, I was woken up around 6 AM by the clear sounds of people going to breakfast and talking. The hotel's restaurant is definitely worth recommending; we ate there three times during our two-day, one-night stay."

The soundproofing in the rooms is fantastic; once you close the door, you're completely isolated from the outside hustle and bustle. The view from the window is also lovely, with an expansive vista that really brightens your mood in the morning. "Very good accommodation experience, the room is very new. When we checked in, Ms. Lin at the front desk was very attentive. She found that we needed a family room more, so she changed it for us to the executive floor, which was very quiet and comfortable. When we checked out, Mr. Jin helped arrange a driver to take us to the pier, which was also very touching. The hotel has a fixed shuttle bus to the bus station, airport and pier, and you need to contact the hotel one hour in advance. The breakfast is very rich. Next to it is Kaihong Plaza, which is a one-stop shop for eating, drinking and shopping. There is also a RT-Mart supermarket, which is very convenient for buying snacks, drinks and yogurt"

VVictor RUWe had a lovely stay at Sea Cliff Hotel for May 1st break.
This is what I liked:
- buying ship ticket for May holiday was mission impossible, starting with Tickets App not accepting foreign passports. Hotel helped me with arranging the tickets both ways, even after there were no tickets online (sold out in 20 min)
- they arranged a pick us up on arrival and brought us back to the pier on departure
- hotel has an excellent sea view location, very silent and sea centric rooms, same for restaurant
- everything is modern, I specifically liked ability to share Apple screens on TV in the room, great way to review photos and watch own movies in the evening
- good breakfast 8 to 9AM, you can come 8:45 and enjoy a late breakfast as well; we also had late lunch in hotel restaurant on arrival, great food, great to seat outside, flexible working hours (not closed 14-17!), actually I liked their meals more than what we had on the main beach top restaurant, finally reception can brew you a coffee though bit hot
- there is 20 min walk from the hotel for a great bay and coffee place to watch sunset, excellent experience and no need to wake up early
- hotel was always online on WeChat to address any issues or questions, including how to organize a day, fantastic services!
- hotel has own beach area, looks like good to swim, I will consider for summer, water is clean on the island, and this is just couple of hours from Shanghai
- small drawback: fishing boats pass by from early morning, this may disturb your morning sleep ;)
- other thing the bed is a bit too hard for my back, but where did you see soft beds in China?

GGuest UserWe love everything about Healray Collection. Our flight arrived late, and took a late ferry over to the Island. Luckily they had shuttle service from and to Ferry, which made it so much easier than calling a car service. When we arrived, they assisted us unloading the luggage. Our room got excellent view and could see the Guan Yin statue from our room. I'm OCD, so cleanliness is very important to me and I approved. We booked two nights, sadly we were only able to stay one night due to a Gale warning. The hotel had such a great customer service, when we were sightseeing, they gave us a call to inform us that they received a Gale warning and that the ferry will not operate the next day. They gave us an option to stay or refund us the one night if we wished to checkout to catch the ferry. They were very helpful and resourceful in that respect. The manager Zhou Min reached out to our online booking to verify our refund. We were very pleased and amazed with their extraordinary service. I personally would definitely refer and book with them again. I care about service and they have one of the best service I've had experienced.

MMaria13579One of our best stays in China! This place was absolutely amazing. The ladies running it are hilarious and always made us laugh.
First of all - the rooms are really good for the price. We got upgraded to a much better room after our first night, free of charge. It’s also conveniently located next to grocery shops, cafes, restaurants and the beach, while still being a little out of the way from the hustle and bustle.
The food here is really good too - the (included) breakfast as well as what you can buy for lunch/dinner is really fresh. Because of the language barrier they tried to accommodate by providing more “western style” breakfasts for us, but when we realized and asked about it they made us a second breakfast that was like the one everyone else got.
They also helped us out with a driver to take us to the abandoned village, and booked our tickets back to Shanghai.
Also, the aircon here is FAST and reliable which we’ve realized isn’t a given after a few weeks in China. So that’s another (small yet important) plus for sure!
Usually I like to explore different places and stay at different accommodations if/when I revisit places, but I’d probably make an exception and stay here again if I ever come back to visit the island!

I like their atmosphere very much. I want to give my cat to the boss sister so that the cat can live a good life. Although it is a youth hostel, it is no worse than a hotel. (The hotels on the island are of varying quality. Instead of spending five or six hundred to find a so-so one, it is better to have the boss sister's youth hostel.) The house is warm and romantic, and there is a breath of life everywhere. It's so romantic to face the sea and watch them paint.

GGuest UserThe hotel's environment was fantastic: our balcony offered expansive sea views, and the garden was absolutely stunning. A small gate through the garden led straight to the beach. Since it was off-season, it wasn't crowded at all, which made for a very pleasant experience.
The service was excellent; the front desk, bellhops, and cleaning staff were all incredibly friendly.
The facilities were a bit dated, but for the price, the value for money was exceptional.
I'll definitely be back!

GGuest UserAt the other end of the Putuoshan Pier, next to the cableway, there are several scenic spots. There are many seafood restaurants nearby, and you must order a few small seafood dishes. After arriving, take a walk on the beach in Figure 1. It's very comfortable. Unfortunately, the nearby beaches are blocked and you can't enter 😂. Due to time constraints, I only stayed for one night. If I have the opportunity, I will come again and stay a few more nights and play for a few more days.

GGuest UserIt's a long time away from the pier. Suzhai is near the door. It takes 15 minutes to Puji Temple. There are buses from Puji Temple station to any temple and scenic spot. After packing your luggage, you can check it and store it at the pier. It's really convenient.
