"Pros: 1. Newly opened, but odor-free. 2. The private hot spring room is very well laid out, with three separate rooms that don't interfere with each other. 3. The hotel staff are very polite in person. Room service is always responsive. After our first day, we returned to the hotel at 10 PM and wanted to use the private hot spring. I noticed some water stains in the pool, worried it wasn't clean, so I asked for it to be disinfected right away. They were very diligent and came, which is a huge credit. 4. The room was equipped with a Toto smart toilet, a Panasonic hair dryer, a capsule coffee machine, and drinking water, including four cans of VOSS and two bottles of Nongfu Spring. If the water wasn't enough, we could refill it with Nongfu Spring. 5. The soup is supposedly real, not boiler water, and it's very slippery after a soak. The outdoor hot spring automatically drains at 10 PM every night and automatically fills in the morning. 6. The travel photography lady who provided the service was very professional. 7. Generous! I asked if we could add breakfast for the children, and they readily agreed. Overall, staying in such a new and established hotel in Zhoushan, a city known for its high prices, was quite good during the summer vacation. However, there are some shortcomings that I would like to mention. In particular, the hospitality was superficial, with more formality than substance. For example: 1. I contacted them the night before check-in and specifically inquired about our check-in staff. I also made it clear that I didn't need children's amenities, as I have teenagers. However, upon check-in, the room still had children's amenities, no men's slippers, and no third bath towel or robe. Considering the phone call the night before, this is unacceptable and should have been avoided. 2. In a similar situation, they called me the night before and left their WeChat number, saying they would add me and provide guidance and assistance. In the end, they didn't even offer to add me until I checked in the next day. It would have been better not to mention this service. 3. I haven't encountered a hotel that requires a deposit in a while. It's no big deal if they do. When I checked out, they said we would return the same day by the same route. The next day, I remembered and checked, but there wasn't any. I asked again, and they refunded it. What if I hadn't forgotten to check? 4. The package includes a complimentary mini bar each day. Upon check-in, I was verbally informed that only four items were free; the rest were charged. After check-in, I discovered there were no signs distinguishing the items that were charged, and I hadn't even remembered the verbal notification. I called room service twice before I finally understood. I asked if the Coke and Sprite in the mini bar could be replaced with sparkling water the next day, and they said they would note it. However, not only was there no replacement, but when I returned home after a day of fun, not a single bottle was refilled, forcing me to order more. Two other drawbacks are worth mentioning. 1. The breakfast had a wide variety, but the taste was lackluster. On the first day, everything we tried was a complete failure, and on the second day, we mostly just had porridge and watermelon. The afternoon tea was similarly beautiful, but not very tasty. 2. The bed was too small. The 1.2-meter bed couldn't be moved. While everything else was very user-friendly, this particular point was hard to understand. Aren't twin beds in hotels of this caliber typically 1.35 meters? Even if you have a 1.2-meter bed, it should be possible to move the beds together. This is something to consider carefully for a family of three."

"I went to Zhoushan to visit a friend and this was my second stay at this hotel; I also stayed here last year. The hotel is very clean and new, making for a comfortable stay. The value for money is decent, and the breakfast offers a good variety. My only confusion is why they still require a deposit – I haven't encountered any other hotels that ask for a deposit nowadays."

"To be quite honest when we booked this hotel for one night only we didn’t have very high hopes for it. However, the contrary happened. Hilton Zhoushan turned out to be amazing; literally from the first minute that we stepped in we were greeted warmly by front desk staff. They speak very good English and the GM was very nice; once he realised that it’s our little daughter’s first birthday they offered cake and candles. They also brought a nice crib for the baby. Every single staff member’s behaviour was professional and friendly and respectful. On the 19th floor we had an amazing view of the lake and the surrounding landscape. We had a great time and will definitely come back."

"Every year, when I visit Mount Putuo, I prefer staying in Shenjiamen. This was my first time at the Pullman Hotel, and I purchased a three-day, two-night pre-sale package for 888 yuan, which was excellent value for money. As it was the off-season on the day of our check-in, there weren't many tourists. The hotel upgraded us to an Executive Seaview Room and even provided a welcome fruit platter, leaving us with a very positive first impression. The room faced south directly, offering expansive views of the sea, the cross-sea bridge leading to Zhujiajian, and the white Grand Theater and New District Government Office Building directly opposite. The panoramic view was stunning, especially the beautiful lights at night. What truly touched us was the young lobby receptionist on duty on the afternoon of January 12th. After we checked in on the 11th, the temperature in Zhoushan unseasonably rose to nearly 20℃ in winter, with clear skies. Our south-facing room had been exposed to the sun all day, making the room very hot. At the time, the hotel's central air conditioning was in heating mode, so it kept getting hotter, and we didn't sleep well that night. When we returned to the hotel after sightseeing on the afternoon of the 12th, we mentioned it to the young lady at the front desk. She suggested moving us to a cooler-facing room, but I declined, feeling it would be too much trouble for the hotel, and only asked for two thin blankets. To our surprise, after checking around, she found out the hotel didn't have thin blankets prepared for this season. She immediately came to our room with a spare room card, hoping to help us switch rooms to resolve the heat issue. She also specially brought fresh cut fruit and a Putuoshan refrigerator magnet as an apology, which deeply moved us. We understood that the sudden heat during the coldest part of winter was beyond human control, but the hotel's wholehearted dedication to its customers was incredibly heartwarming. A big thank you to this front desk lady, even though I regret not knowing her name. We will definitely be back!"

"It was a great experience. My husband also said it was the best hotel he had stayed in so far, with good service and environment. After staying for two nights, we stayed for another night. Considering that we had to leave in the middle of the night, we chose the cheaper Yuexiang Twin Room. We called to ask if we could not change rooms, and the counter readily agreed to upgrade the room for free. In the evening, we also provided eight-treasure porridge and hot milk for the children. Mineral water was also unlimited. The room was quiet and equipped with an air purifier. It was very convenient to go to various attractions. It was really great. Thumbs up 👍👍Highly recommended 👍"

"I was really impressed on my first visit. I stayed here for three days, and the room was huge with two levels—upstairs was a living area, and downstairs was the bedroom. There was a balcony with a really beautiful view. Even though our room didn’t have a washing machine, the hotel actually provided one for us to use for free. And it was super convenient to order food here. The staff were really excellent—they gave great recommendations and helped with everything. I really loved it and would definitely recommend that if you come to Zhoushan, you should stay here."

"I've stayed at this hotel almost every year when visiting Mount Putuo for about five or six years now. It's an established hotel, but this time, the experience was truly disappointing! First off, in previous years, loyal customers like myself always received upgrades, but this year, no upgrade was offered (which I later found out wasn't because the hotel was fully booked as they claimed). Furthermore, in the past, my stays were always linked to my Ctrip account, allowing for direct payment upon departure. This time, despite Ctrip's assurance, the front desk still insisted on a separate security deposit. I don't understand the change in policy. And finally, a major warning: steer clear of room 3410! The cleanliness was questionable, and more critically, the air conditioning was completely ineffective. It ran for two hours without producing any cool air. It was impossible to stay there in such heat! I had no choice but to switch rooms close to midnight, which left me absolutely exhausted for my early morning visit to Mount Putuo the following day."

"An absolutely delightful stay, exceeding all expectations! I visit Putuoshan every year for worship, and usually, I stay at Putuoshanzhuang. This time, I opted for this guesthouse, and I couldn't be happier. From the moment they picked me up at the pier until I checked in, the butler service was impeccable. I slept incredibly well. Plus, their food is out-of-this-world delicious – perfect for even the pickiest eaters. The seafood was incredibly fresh. Five stars! The butler even gave me a small gift before I left. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip."
