"The location of the hotel is along a main street. It's just 15 minutes away from the Atomic Bomb Dome on foot. On the way there one can pass by the main shopping street. It's also just 1 minute away from the tram station to Hiroshima Station, which is 10 minutes away by tram or 30 minutes on foot. The hotel is clean and it provides breakfast, basically bread and coffee but that's already good enough given the price paid for the accommocation."

"The room size was decent, not small by Japanese standards. The decor felt quite new. They even had Braille identification at the elevator, which was a nice touch. The hotel is right in the city center, making transportation very convenient. It's really close to the Peace Memorial Park and Atomic Bomb Museum, just a few minutes' walk. The area felt safe and quiet. My only minor gripe was that there was a front desk staff member on the first day, but I didn't see them on the subsequent two days. It seems like many hotels in Japan are moving towards self check-in now, which I'm still getting used to as I don't visit often."

"The room was large enough to open a big suitcase comfortably; only the bathroom was a little small, which didn’t affect its use. The view was breathtaking — I attached a photo — and waking up to that scenery every morning was a perfect for me. The shopping street is just two blocks away, and the area was quiet and convenient. The staff responded to my email very quickly and handled my requests smoothly. I highly recommend this hotel."

"The accommodation was actually better then I thought. Starting off the staff was really helpful and was able to speak English. The floors are stuck separated by gender and I was on the sixth floor, which had a nice as well they gave great selection of amenities, such as sleep, clothing, toothbrushes, razors, towels, etc. they had a lounge on each floor where you can just chill in the surrounding areas. It’s pretty nice too with a family Mart being right next-door and nakau across the street as well. Pretty close to the attractions in Hiroshima all within walkable distance."

"The hotel was in a prime location, close to the Peace museum and the shopping street. Checking in and out was super easy with the machine and the public bath within the hotel was decent. They provide pyjamas for your stay which was lovely. Happy hour was a bonus as we got one drink with our stay which was perfect timing when we arrived. The receptionists were super friendly and helpful. Overall a lovely hotel that surprised me despite reading reviews that the rooms were small, we felt that the twin room was good for an overnight stay."

"This was my second stay at The Next Hotel. They have two locations in Hiroshima, and I've stayed at both. I definitely prefer this one over the one closer to the city center. The service here is excellent, and the staff are really friendly. They even provide a BALMUDA pour-over kettle, which shows they really put thought into their amenities. Unfortunately, I missed breakfast because I overslept. Overall, it's a really great hotel."

"We didn’t use any of the extra ammenities or have the breakfast. The room was relatively small which is consistent with Japanese hotels, however it did have hooks and hangers which helped with space saving. The room was clean and everything was as advertised. Multiple convenience stores just a few minutes walk and nearby to the bus stop."

"Conveniently located directly above the south side of Hiroshima Station, with a small elevator leading straight to the 7th-floor lobby (near the Hiroshima Electric Railway entrance; the Maple Loop bus is on the north side). There's a wide variety of dining options in the mall downstairs. The hotel feels quite new, the rooms are spacious, and the front desk staff speak good English. The self-service luggage storage is easy to use. Overall, the Granvia quality is excellent."

Ssplatour original hotel booking at mitsui garden got force cancelled due to maintenance so this hotel was our alternative & it did not disappoint! service : front desk & staff were very friendly & allowed to store our luggages till evening the next day! [10/10] room : size was alright for the price, very clean [10/10] location : amazing, located within walking distance of hiroshima station [10/10] cost : amazing, given that this was our alternative offered as compensation, its amazing [10/10] miku & I enjoyed our stay! ありがとうございます！

BBel ZI stayed here solo and absolutely loved the experience. The location is super convenient—just a few minutes’ walk from the station, which made day trips and late arrivals stress-free. The hostel has a warm, minimalist Japanese aesthetic, and the common area is cozy and social without being noisy. Staff were friendly and spoke good English, and the check-in process was smooth. The dorm beds had privacy curtains, reading lights, and lockers—perfect for solo travelers. Everything was clean and well-kept. Highly recommend if you’re traveling alone and want both comfort and convenience.

EEuonchThere was a crowd during check-in, but the hotel staff efficiently handed out queue numbers, allowing guests to wait comfortably on the sofas. The room I got was perfectly quiet, which was great! Since it's a business hotel with a high turnover, if you need to sleep in a bit later during the day, you can call the front desk beforehand to arrange a suitable room cleaning time. This way, you can get a better rest in the morning. Check-out is a bit early at 10 AM, but you can pay to extend it for ¥1,000 per hour. The hotel also has laundry machines and a public bath on the top floor, making it excellent value for money. The staff provided great service too. Highly recommended!

KKhabibov IlnurGreat room. It was clean and cozy. The staff were polite and friendly. Free coffee from a machine is available at the front desk. A 7-Eleven is conveniently located right next door. The room doesn't have wardrobes or much space for large suitcases, but it's perfectly fine for travelers with smaller luggage. The hotel offers two washing machines and two dryers; however, expect queues in the evenings, so doing laundry in the morning or afternoon is recommended. Overall, I have wonderful memories of my stay.

ММаргарита КириякWe stayed at this wonderful hotel for two days. We arrived an hour early, but were told check-in was after 2:00 PM. We left our bags and went exploring the neighborhood! The location is great, with a huge supermarket nearby where you can buy anything. The hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly, always ready to help with any questions. The room was large, clean, and spacious, with standard welcome amenities provided. On the ground floor, opposite the reception, there are additional sets available with absolutely everything you could wish for (cotton swabs, nail file, sponges, razor, body cream, shower cap, comb, extra toothbrushes, shoe polishing mitt, hair mask, bath salts, etc.). We booked a room with breakfast. There was a wide variety, but it was all geared towards Asian cuisine, so it was quite challenging for us to find suitable dishes. However, these are minor details; you definitely won't go hungry. On the 3rd floor, there's a smoking area, and right there you'll also find a vending machine with drinks, a water cooler, ice, and a microwave, which is very convenient. Special shout-out for the Welcome drink! This is the best feature I've ever encountered in hotels! From 2 PM to 11 PM, there are unlimited hot and cold beverages in the dining area (various juice flavors, Pepsi, soda, tea, coffee, matcha, and especially delicious cocoa). Overall, we were incredibly happy with our choice of such a wonderful hotel! I highly recommend it to everyone! The best hotel!

DDr.p3pp3rThe location of this hotel is excellent. It’s right next to Peace Memorial Park, directly behind the museum, in a quiet and pleasant area. It’s about a 3–5 minute walk from the tram stop and around 5 minutes to the main shopping street. If you get this hotel at a good price and only plan a short stay focused on the Peace Park, the location is definitely a plus. The room itself, however, was extremely small. Seating was uncomfortable — only a small stool with no back, and in my case the screws were sticking out, making it unsafe and unpleasant to use. You are basically either on the bed or out of the room. The biggest issue was severe condensation and dampness. The room had extreme moisture problems — water running down the walls and windows, and the bed and floor becoming damp overnight. I woke up with wet feet and later realised why. This is not normal condensation; it was excessive and clearly an ongoing issue. I raised this with the front desk when checking out, but it was brushed off. After contacting Trip.com with photos and videos, the hotel refused responsibility once I had checked out. Trip.com eventually offered partial compensation, but the hotel itself showed no accountability. Because of this, I would not stay here again. I am not overly picky with hotels, but a damp room that can make guests sick is unacceptable. Also, I do not recommend the breakfast. You receive a very small bento box with unclear contents and a bottled tea. For the price, you are far better off going to a nearby convenience store like Lawson. Overall: great location, but poor room conditions and lack of responsibility from the hotel. There are better options in this area.

LlkjidmThis was my second stay at a Livemax hotel, and it was excellent once again! This time, I chose the branch located in Funairi-machi. The location is superb, conveniently close to both Funairi-machi Station (Line 6) and Komachi Station (Line 2). The surrounding area offers plenty of dining options, parks, beautiful river views, and even drugstores. The service was good, and the facilities were comprehensive. I especially appreciated the large TV, which made for a very comfortable viewing experience. The only minor drawback was that the duvet had a somewhat strange texture and wasn't as comfortable as I'd hoped. Aside from that, there's absolutely nothing to complain about. It's truly an unbeatable choice for anyone visiting Hiroshima!
