"Booked this for a layover at Doha Airport. It's actually 7km from the airport, a bit far, but I didn't seem to spot any other hotels along the way. It's quite close to the National Museum of Qatar, within walking distance. The cleanliness was excellent. We had dinner at the hotel, and the food was very palatable for Chinese tastes, plus the prices were cheaper than in Shanghai. While not luxurious, it's on par with a domestic Ji Hotel or Atour Hotel, just with a smaller lobby. Recommended. The airport shuttle frequency is low, so we took Uber to the airport instead. An early morning pickup cost 36 QAR, while a daytime drop-off was only 18 QAR."

"I recently stayed at City Centre Rotana Jeddah and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, professional, and attentive, ensuring a smooth check-in and a comfortable stay throughout. The room was modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed, offering a great blend of comfort and functionality. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and I appreciated the attention to detail — from the high-speed Wi-Fi to the well-stocked minibar and spacious bathroom with quality amenities. One of the highlights was the dining experience. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of both international and local dishes, all fresh and delicious. The service at the restaurant was impeccable, with staff always on hand to assist and ensure guests were well taken care of. "Highly recommended for female solo traveller! Staff were helpful, sweet and considerate. I emailed them beforehand for my situation : landed early morning, used next-day breakfast quota on the day i land, and hopefully an ultra early check in. And all wishes were granted! Hence i took a nice shower before breakfast and took a recovery nap in the afternoon. Breakfast was awesome, with loads of variety and attentive services. Cozy and nice environment. Location was perfect, only 8mins uber away from Museum of Islamic Art and Qatar National Museum. Room was styled old-fashionably, clean and tidy with amenities on requests."

We are located in Old Town Doha, just a few minutes from the citys major attractions. The National Museum of Qatar is across the road, and there are dozens of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Were less than 10 minutes from Souq Waqif, the Museum of Islamic Art, and Ras Abu Aboud Stadium. Enjoy free breakfast.

"The room was a bit small, and the bathroom had black mold. The service wasn't great either. On our second morning, we had to queue for breakfast outside the door for about 15 minutes because the breakfast area was too small. However, the hotel's location is excellent. It's about a 10-minute walk to the National Museum, and the Museum of Islamic Art and Souq Waqif are also within easy walking distance. I also discovered a Chinese restaurant called 'Dragon Restaurant' about 100 meters across from the hotel. The food there was delicious, so we ended up having dinner there two nights in a row, although it was a bit pricey (a meat and a vegetable dish cost over 200 RMB). I saw a lot of people eating hot pot there, but I didn't check the prices for that. I hope this information is helpful for future travelers."

"This was my first business trip to Qatar, and I only stayed for a day. The hotel facilities were excellent, the bedding was top-notch, and the internet speed was very good. The breakfast was also fantastic and very varied. The only minor downside was that toothpaste wasn't provided, but fortunately, I always carry my own. The hotel was very clean and well-maintained, and it's also conveniently close to the airport."

"I had the best time. We were even upgraded and wow, the room was amazing, super clean and spacious. The hotel itself was wonderful. Staff were amazing, the buffet was great and the service I just can’t get over how amazing it was. I only wish this was in a more central location but I would defo stay again especially as Ubers are so cheap!"

"This is already a repeat stay. The hotel isn't far from dining options by taxi, and it's also close to the airport. The only downside is that it's a bit old, and some of the facilities are a bit dated. However, the breakfast is delicious! I love the warm bread, especially with an omelet inside, and I really enjoy the fragrant nuts."

"Good size room (I was told that I had been upgraded free?), bed is quite firm. 2 extra pillows in the cupboard 👍 nice). Very friendly and helpful staff. But, the bathroom is tiny and cramped. The shower water pools at the rear of the shower cubicle and does not drain - ewww. The carpet was not flat and easily tripped over (how hard would it be to relay it FFS?). Breakfast was barely adequate. (pizza for breakfast??). The location was pretty good - 10 minute walk to 2 different metro stations. If you are in Doha for the F1, it's ok because you won't be in the room much."

TThe_Ross_1I lived in Doha many years ago, so I booked the rooms in this hotel for the location which is excellent. I have also paid a good rate as I booked those quite in advance (about 50 quid per night, per room). Unfortunately our staying was not that great. I am not really happy to write this review, because all the staff are extremely polite, courteous, and well mannered, all of them, really nice staff. However, feedback and reviews are given 'here and now', so to better describe the circumstances encountered during the visit. PROS - Very easy/hassle free check in/out, strong wi-fi, polite staff, super location, amenities near by and on site, comfy bed, super shower, overall cleanliness of the hotel. CONS - Upon check in, I asked for two rooms not near the lifts, as it could get busy and noisy. The receptionist said 'ok no problem' and, guess what, one room was far from the lifts, but my one was right next to it. Upon entering the rooms, in my room the bath mat was missing and I had to call them asking for one. In the other room, there was a tray with food leftovers in the fridge. Considering that the rooms were just been cleaned up, it is really bad. We had to call the house-keeping to have it removed and the fridge cleaned. The hair drier is kinda secured/clipped to the wall and it cannot be taken to the bath. I asked how we are supposed to dry our hairs if the drier is not in front of the mirror, they replied 'use the TV screen as a mirror!'. The coffee mugs and drinking glasses were never changed or washed, we had to wash them ourselves. On the kitchenette top, there was some coffee powder, that was never wiped off during our entire stay. Once back in the room, on the first evening, I realized that there were 3 pillow cases missing out of 4. I had to call them up asking to bring some and put them on. The house keeping were always missing something everyday, and we had to call them many times. The lifts are key-operated but they only allow the guests to their room floor. Mine was on 9th floor, the other was on 7th floor. We had to use the staircase if we wanted to go to each othe room which, by the way, was dirty. They have a metal detector at the entrance which is very noisy. The lobby is kinda smallish and gets cramped and busy at a times. Overall, it didn't feel like a 4* hotel, but more of a budget hotel. The house-keeping needs to improve and so the room cleanliness.
