Luxury Hotels in Doha

"Room decor and comfort was superb - and very large and well appointed. Minor gripes were the iPad they gave to control all of the room functions didn’t respond well so if I clicked to turn off the light it didn’t turn off for about 20 seconds, and the TV channels didn’t change at all. This wasn’t a huge problem as I could use the normal controls too, so I just forgot the iPad. The other minor grumble was that the lights are set to either day, relax or off mode, which is a little restrictive if you only want some of the lights on or off, and it was a bit finickity, as from the bed you couldn’t open the blinds and the curtains without switching on all of the lights, so that was a bit annoying - It felt as though they got too obsessed with technology that didn’t provide additional value and actually ended up hampering the experience.  As for the staff they were all amazing, but maybe the guy with glasses who welcomed everybody when they got back went a bit overboard and was quite disingenuous - he was answering a question of mine when he spotted someone else arriving and literally just cut off our conversation and went to say welcome back to them - it was as if he was just picking the people he thought he’d get a tip from! So I’d rather have had him not greet me in a fake way, and just not greeted me at all. The breakfast was exceptional, with a great choice and always plenty of seating. The afternoon tea was okay if not overpriced for the quality of the sandwiches at the cakes, the latter which were pretty generic for such an upscale hotel, I’ve had better afternoon teas at half the price in less upscale cafes. The ambience and the food on the rooftop bar Restaurant was very good, and the views were simply magical! Overall it’s the kind of hotel where you could spend the weekend without leaving and just enjoy being there. I would definitely go back again!"

"A Memorable Stay at Waldorf Astoria Lusail This was our first time staying at Waldorf Astoria Lusail, though we’ve also had the pleasure of experiencing the West Bay location, which we equally adore. As a family, we rarely revisit hotels, as we enjoy exploring new places, but when we do, it’s because the hotel holds a special place in our hearts. Waldorf Astoria Lusail is now firmly on that list, and we will definitely return. A Special Celebration Thank you for making my husband’s 50th birthday truly unforgettable. The complimentary cake was delicious and paired perfectly with the festive balloons—it was such a thoughtful touch! Food We thoroughly enjoyed our in-room dining experience. The Norwegian salmon and Omaha beef tenderloin were perfectly prepared, and the soup and dessert were delightful. The pricing was reasonable for the quality. The buffet breakfast offered a good variety of options, providing something for everyone. Room Our room was beautifully designed, featuring a bathtub, balcony, and a cozy side sitting area with tasteful décor. However, I did notice one minor inconvenience—there was no phone on the desk, only one near the bed, which meant I had to walk over to make calls. Staff The staff truly elevated our experience with their outstanding hospitality. Special thanks to Elizabeth for delivering the cake, and to Aung, Jul, and Mariam at the Bywater Restaurant for their attentive service. Jason at the pool and Bilmal and Ghem at the concierge area were equally amazing. The team’s warmth and professionalism left a lasting impression. A special shoutout to the kind lady who assisted us at the elevator—I wish I’d caught her name! Hotel Amenities We absolutely loved the hotel overall, but the highlight was the pool—it’s easily one of the best we’ve seen for families with children. The temperature-controlled feature was a bonus, and our little boy had an incredible time. The pool is likely the main reason we’ll be coming back, alongside the exceptional hospitality of the staff. Final Thoughts Waldorf Astoria Lusail is a perfect getaway for families, especially those with kids. We wholeheartedly recommend it and are already looking forward to our next visit."

"Dell boys were very friendly, Room was impeccable, cleaning staff and butler were impeccable. Location is not great, nothing around, promenade was boring. What ruined our stay was the rude behaviour of front desk staff called Marilu. She needs training in customer service. The interaction was very distasteful and dampened our mood. Pool was only outside, and freezing, nothing to do. There isn’t changing rooms for the pool, nor showers. View from pool was boring too. For the price you pay, it’s just the amenities in room to enjoy, which were great but nothing more. It’s been turned in to a tourist attraction with the afternoon tea etc, so very busy downstairs and not exclusive, like other raffles. Not even a jacuzzi or sauna/steam, but private rooms to enjoy to an hour at an extra cost. Which is fine, if you carried out that exclusive service throughout the hotel. Overall, came excited but left deflated."

"We had a wonderful stay in Mandarin Oriental Doha in our recent family trip during Chinese New Year holidays.  The room is spacious for my family of four with 2 young children.  All the staff are friendly, especially the servers in Mosaic who could address me by name in the second morning without telling them my room number.  We also ordered room service once and the staff Faroh is extremely helpful."

"The hotel staff were particularly enthusiastic. On the day of check-in, I met the Qatar national team and they were celebrating winning the Asian Cup... Because it is owned by Marriott and we are Marriott Platinum members. Although we did not order breakfast on Ctrip, I was given breakfast in both rooms when I checked in, which saved me money. We spent a lot of money to upgrade to a suite. The other one is right next door and is very comfortable. The family of six is ​​very happy."

"The hotel is a resort style, decorated in style, the room is clean and tidy, the staff is good at service, the service ability is strong, the breakfast is rich, the environment is beautiful, the hotel has a beach, next to the 974 gymnasium, walk about 15 minutes to the National Museum."

"Ah, to live and rest in paradise, heaven on earth if you may. I left the St.Regis Marsa Arabia at the Pearl in a better mind frame than when I checked in, because everything, from check in to check out was so meticulously crafted to ensure that you leave feeling like a star. Anus at check in is one of the kindest most helpful people you’ll find. Everyone gives of a warm vibe, from the butler service to the pool attendants, and I wish them all the best because that is one of the best staff groupings I’ve encountered at a hotel. The room is fantastic, overwhelmingly spacious (in a good way) and the views are those that are only rivaled by the silver screen. I WILL BE STAYING AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN 5 🌟"

"It was great experience overall and the room was crazy good , ( good space and amazing furniture etc ), service in the hotel need little bit of improvement only in the entrance service and security but the other staff members are amazing / why I am saying that ( when you order something to be delivered the staff in the entrance are not well experienced to deal with riders of other delivery people or have good individual sense ( not bad but it need improvement , but the staff in the reception are amaaaaaazing and not included in that ."
