Find Lijiang Hotels with Jacuzzi

"This is a comfortable and homely hotel with a friendly staff managed by a sister-and-brother team plus their lovely and very friendly Alaskan Husky, named “Little Seven” or “小七”. The hotel could recommend restaurants featuring local flavors. One of which is a waxed dried meat (pork or chicken) hot pot with locally grown vegetables. The other is a rice noodle restaurant with an excellent, homemade and slow-cooked, chicken broth. The hotel could book nearby trips such as a hike to the Tiger Leaping Gorge. My original plan was to do this hike. Unfortunately I had to cancel last minute due to an on-going upper left leg muscle strain sustained on a Chongqing hike six days earlier. Nevertheless, Lijiang has sufficient attraction during my 3-night stay. One of the attraction is “Mu Fu” or “木府”, which I highly recommend. To really see this place, including photography, about 6 hours is needed. You could have an excellent view of the “Dragon Jade Mountain”, from one of the upper floors at Mu Fu. This Mountain is revered by the Naxi people whom were native to this area. The Naxi is one of China’s minority groups. The hotel is comfortable with an adequate Chinese-style buffer. If I return to Lijiang I would certainly stay at this hotel based on service, location, and friendliness of staff. A photo of “Little Seven” or “小七” is included in this review."

"This guesthouse absolutely deserves a glowing review. From the moment you step inside, it's incredibly comfortable, with a simple yet grand aesthetic. It was hands down the best value guesthouse we stayed at during our Yunnan trip. For just over 400 RMB for two people, it's a steal. First off, the book wall was a huge surprise – paper books aren't cheap! All three floors double as a relaxing book cafe, and the public areas on each floor's hallway are perfect for soaking up the sun. The rooftop has a laundry room and dryer, plus tables and chairs where you can admire the snowy mountains and order takeout – so relaxing. The location is excellent too, making it easy to get around. The breakfast noodles (Mǐxiàn) are absolutely delicious – seriously, so good we ordered three bowls for two people! The broth and meat sauce are incredibly well-made. These noodles could rival any specialty noodle shop in Lijiang. The dedication truly earns it a super five-star rating. The amenities in the room are also top-notch, from the toiletries to the thick-soled slippers, which I was very impressed with – my feet stayed warm even when I went downstairs for breakfast. Every corner was spotlessly clean too. It was just so comfortable! 👍🏻👍🏻"

"The rooms looks quite old, there was some mold in the washroom top too, but apart from that, the ambience, environment, rooftop, services, washing and drying facilities, everything was top notch. If they restore the room conditions a bit better, then it's definitely a 5/5. The location was also quite close and walking distance to Lijiang Old town, and Shuhe old town was not far away. The owner helped me book Jude Dragon Snow Mountain day tour and also I trekked the Tiger leaping Gorge, and he helped me manage a seat for me in a shared van that took me to the starting point of the trekking area."

"The room is very spacious, and you can get to the entrance by taxi, plus there's a parking lot. The staff member was super friendly and helpful, carrying our luggage and even acting as a half-day tour guide, taking the kids to Shuhe Ancient Town to explore hidden paths. He played cards, drank tea, and chatted with the kids while they did their homework! The courtyard also has a small hill, a pond, and a rocking chair. Inside the room, there's an electric heater and a humidifier. Longtan Park is just a three-minute walk away. The room is very clean, and you can pre-order breakfast."

"Traveling with two male and two female friends this time, we booked two rooms, and the experience was absolutely fantastic ✨! The guesthouse's large courtyard was incredibly comfortable; we sunbathed during the day and chatted at night, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The rooms were clean and tidy, the bedding was soft, and it was a pleasure to stay there. The host was super nice, not only warm and attentive but also recommended many local hidden gems. It felt less like staying in a hotel and more like being a guest at a friend's house. The cleanliness, environment, service, and facilities were all impeccable. We'll definitely choose this place again next time we visit Lijiang!"

"When we got to our room, we were surprised that the owner upgraded us to a family room for free – that was a really nice touch! 👍🏻👍🏻 The room was clean, and it even had a foot bath with traditional Chinese herbal packs, which was a pleasant surprise. It was perfect for soaking our tired feet after a long day of walking. 👍🏻👍🏻 This guesthouse is definitely worth recommending; I even booked it again when I came back to Lijiang from Shangri-La."

"The guesthouse is just a few minutes' walk from the transport links, allowing us to soak in the ancient town's atmosphere while also providing convenient access for getting around. My whole family thought it was excellent. The stone pot wild mushroom restaurant right outside the guesthouse was also incredibly delicious; my family even concluded it was the best meal we had in Lijiang. The owner, a fellow native of Hunan, was incredibly helpful, answering all sorts of questions we had during our trip and truly living up to my expectations for specifically choosing a guesthouse run by a fellow native. The service was top-notch, and the ambiance was wonderful! We even managed to pick some rainy-season mushrooms and explore Tiger Leaping Gorge. All in all, a truly enjoyable trip!"

"It was a ‘Home away home’ in true sense. We booked a double bedroom with mountain views. The room was spacious with sunny corner room and attic-like nook in upstairs. Large size TV, Chinese tea sets, and fluffy high-quality towels added extra comfort. When we arrived at Lijiang ancient city by airport shuttle bus, we were a bit disappointed because the tourist information staff told us the hotel we booked was about 20 minutes taxi drive from the center of the city. However, we were pleasantly surprised when we discovered that this hotel was 5 minutes walk to another ancient town called Shuhe, which is much more charming and attractive than tourist-packed main Lijiang ancient city! We stayed in this accommodation 4 nights 5 days, and my husband and I were repeating to each other how lucky we were to found such a lovely comfortable place! The owner lady and her family were so friendly and helpful, and paid so much effort to understand my poor Chinese. She also gave us excellent travel advices to make our trip the most memorable one. "The hotel is conveniently located at the South Gate of Lijiang Old Town, offering easy access to all the attractions within the old town. It's nestled in a quiet area, providing both convenient transportation and a peaceful night's sleep. The rooms are spacious, bright, and impeccably clean. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and they provide an instant hot water dispenser and brand new bottled water, plus a humidifier! 👍👍 It's perfect for families traveling with children. I especially loved the viewing platform, where you can catch the sunrise and see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The breakfast rice noodles were delicious, and coffee is available all day. The staff were incredibly enthusiastic and even recommended suitable itineraries. They also offer a private car service to and from the airport or high-speed rail station, so you don't have to worry about a thing."
