Jianshui Lin'an Hotel is a highly recommended hotel. The hotel is located on Yongzhen Road, Jianshui, adjacent to the ancient city of Lin'an, and within walking distance of famous attractions such as the Temple of Confucius and Zhu's Garden. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the bedding is soft, the bathroom facilities are complete, and the overall environment is clean and tidy.
The hotel's service is also excellent, the staff is warm and thoughtful, and the check-in and check-out process is convenient. The breakfast is rich in variety, not only with conventional Chinese and Western dishes, but also with Jianshui local snacks, such as grass sprout rice noodles, steamed chicken, etc., which are memorable.
In addition, the hotel is in a prime location, travel is very convenient, and there is free parking around, which is very suitable for self-driving tourists. We felt very welcomed right from the moment we stepped in. Front Counter staff were friendly n helpful. Kudos to 小李 & 苹 (the boss) who were very warm n hospitable.
Although lunch was optional, the boss actually called us while we were out to ask if we would like to come back for lunch, without hvg us pay for it. She said she treated us like friends coming over for a meal. We really appreciated that gesture.
Everything was great, from rooms, cleanliness to amenities, free flow of tea in the lobby.
Only not so good thing is the cobbled road leading to the rooms which made it difficult to roll our luggage. Breakfast is mostly the usual 米线 and local stuff. Its good if u don't mind their local style breakfast food.
Overall I am satisfied with this place.

The hotel is very distinctive, ancient and well-designed, and the food service is excellent. The hotel also has its own stage, and there are intangible cultural performances during festivals. The only drawback is the air conditioning. I booked two rooms during the Spring Festival, and the temperature suddenly dropped. The air conditioning in both rooms had problems at first. One room was fixed, but the other room was fixed and the heating was poor. It was cold all night. Maybe Yunnan rarely needs heating air conditioning, and it is not often encountered. I remind the hotel to adjust the air conditioning in each room in advance before the temperature drops next time. The hotel is still highly recommended!

This was my second stay at the White hotel in Jianshui. The check in process is almost instantaneous, and the very friendly woman at the desk can speak English. The rooms are very spacious, extremely clean, very well appointed, and there is really nothing to be improved on. I would certainly recommend this place for others to stay. It is an easy walk into any part of the ancient town as it centrally located. Great place to stay. If I go back to genuine Shui for my fourth trip, I will certainly stay there again.  There is underground parking a one minute walk from the hotel and guests park for free. This is a really huge benefit in the ancient town of Janish way.

The location of the inn is quite good, at the corner of the street but quite quiet and comfortable. Nearby is Jianshui Small Train Lin'an Station, and it takes about 10 minutes to walk to Chaoyang Building, which is quite convenient. Not far from the door, there are all kinds of early, cooked fruits and other delicious, and the atmosphere of life is very good. There is a tea table in the room to make tea, there is a small landscape alone, and the disposable accessories are well equipped, that is, the bathroom is not separated from wet and dry. The service of the young lady in the store is really intimate, and Hanfu can borrow clothes to take ancient photos, and I will come again if I have a chance.

Just arrived at Jianshui Ancient City, before we started to visit the attractions, the hotel gave us a surprise 😄 The whole hotel is in Chinese courtyard style, with an ancient flavor. The room is equipped with a tea room and a small courtyard. The location is in the center of the ancient city, but it is very quiet, and it feels like a paradise 😌
The downside is that the facilities are a bit old, there is no extension in the room, and you need to use your mobile phone to call the front desk, which is a bit inconvenient.

GGuest UserLooking at the online evaluation, I chose Fanqi B&B. On the morning of submitting the order, I received a call from the store to inform the nearby parking lot. I arrived at the B&B that night. The small door face entered the house but there was no cave. The quadruple courtyard has a history of 100 years. The store was very enthusiastic and upgraded the room for us and introduced the historical story of the small courtyard, and provided us with attractions and food guides for visiting Jianshui. The room and bathroom are also very clean, the hot water temperature is also very high, and the breakfast is very rich. Provided according to our requirements, The homestay also provides free Hanfu for taking pictures and barbecue. There are not many tourists traveling on the staggered peaks and found the feeling of home in Fanqi, which made us start a pleasant journey.

TTanWLI wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank the owner for the wonderful BBQ Doufu gathering they organized for all the guests. It was such a thoughtful and kind gesture, and it truly made our stay even more memorable.
The effort they put into bringing everyone together, preparing the delicious food, and creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere did not go unnoticed. It was a joy to meet the other guests, share stories, and enjoy the fantastic BBQ Doufu in such a beautiful setting. Their hospitality and attention to detail made the evening truly special.
This homestay is not just a place to stay—it’s an experience filled with warmth, care, and a sense of community. We are so grateful for the memories we’ve made here, and the BBQ gathering was the perfect highlight of our time.

The rooms are located inside a historic stone and wood building that has been renovated respecting the culture of the place, creating very large rooms, in style, equipped with all possible technological comforts. The owner, Lawrence, speaks perfect English (a very rare thing to find in Jiuanshui), is a highly cultured person and can help you solve any type of problem as well as accompanying you on visits to the surroundings, making you enter the heart of Yunnan. It is the best place I have stayed in Yunnan, without a doubt. In this place I left my heart, respect and affection for Lawrence and all the staff.

Bright lights , modern feel, clean parquet flooring unlike the dated carpeted flooring , comfy mattress , queen size bed instead of the single bed size , good water pressure for the shower , complete set of toilets (shampoo, conditioner, bath gel) . Smaller eateries around the hotel . Staff have good service attitude. Been to other hotels that promised non-smoking room but can still smell cigarette in those rooms. This hotel’s non smoking room is truly free of cigarette smell. Excellent

Location : a 5mn walk from the Old city, and from lots of restaurants at night. very easy to find.
Staff : very nice staff! Despite not speaking English, they tried their best to please me. They helped me book a taxi, and talk to the driver. I was disappointed I was not in the building with the garden, and granted me access to the garden part.
Hotel : Congratulations to the designer, who is a VERY talented person. The design, mixing old and new, is absolutely stunning. It respects tradidtions, but with a twist.
the garden is exceptional. having the tea there was one of the highlights of my entire trip.
Rooms : they are super luxurious, huge, with marble bathrooms and Japanese toilets. But a loise of traffic noise from mine.
Only downside : this hotel is made of two buildings, which are on the other side of the street. The fish tank building has this amazing fisthtank, but it located in a VERY noisy street. My bedroom was overlooking the street, it was difficult in the morning. The garden building is super calm in an alley, all the rooms are overlooking this incredible old garden, no noise. I would recommend the owner to clearly indicate in which building the rooms are during the booking to avoid any potential disappointment upon arrival. rooms in the fishtank part are the cheapest.
Overall I was happy with my stay, it's one of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed in. But beware of the building you are booking to avoid surprises! I wish I had stayed longer.

YYingzige.The hotel has a good location, close to the Huancui Tower Gate of Jianshui Ancient City, and you can walk to the ancient city at any time. The parking space is very large, making it convenient for self-driving parking. The guest rooms are clean, well-equipped with facilities, the beds are comfortable, and you can sleep quietly. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry areas, and the hot water is very comfortable. The breakfast was good, with several varieties. The boss and his wife were very hospitable, talkative and enthusiastic in service. They introduced Jianshui itinerary in detail and upgraded us to a deluxe room for free. The stay was great value and received five-star praise! Will introduce friends to stay here.

SShuitianyimuA very good hotel, located next to the Shifang Dading Temple in Yunlong Mountain. The environment is quiet and the mountain view room has good facilities. I am allergic to formaldehyde, so I tested the formaldehyde when I entered the room. It was only 0.01, which is a very good result. There are two observation decks. It feels good to watch the mountains and drink tea. I can meditate on the observation deck below. The atmosphere is very good. It is probably because it is next to the temple. The atmosphere is a bit fairy-like. Breakfast is only rice noodles, but the taste is good. I eat staff meals with them for lunch and dinner. It costs ten yuan per person. It is very cheap and quite delicious.
Special praise. I forgot my backpack in the room when I left. After calling the hotel, they sent someone down the mountain to mail it to me that day. I was not allowed to send the cash in the bag, so the person in charge sent it to me via WeChat. very good!

The rooms, the lovely courtyard, the stairs, the elevator, the entrance, everything is very clean with an accurate attention to detail. We booked two rooms and all was perfect. The owner, a very gentle man, helped us out with everything. We used the translator to communicate and all worked well. Jianshui is a hidden gem. We recommend to stay at least three nights and four full days. Enjoy your stay the same as we did 🤗
