Jianshui Hotels with Breakfast

Facilities: New, especially the water heater in the room, which I really appreciated. Cleanliness: Very clean. Environment: Photogenic, although we're not good at taking pictures. Just relaxing in the courtyard was nice. Service: Superb, very friendly. They even helped with our luggage at the station. It was truly better than I expected. I immediately extended my stay the next day. It's very close to the Seven-Arch Bridge, just a few minutes' walk. The guesthouse is right next to Daoli Park, which was still beautiful even though the rapeseed flowers were past their peak bloom. The rice noodles for breakfast were especially delicious. A northerner who had traveled all the way from Xishuangbanna ate them for two days straight, telling his companion he never wanted to hear rice noodles again! 😂 The bone broth and chili oil were incredibly fragrant. We enjoyed a walk in the park after breakfast to digest. 😁 During the day, you can eat at Jianlong (the sign is in traditional Chinese characters) next to the Qikongqiao parking lot. The food is light and delicious; if you prefer stronger flavors, just tell the owner. For those arriving by public transport, you won't be bored without a car. You can rent electric bikes to catch the train (there are shared electric bikes near the RV campsite's restrooms, but the seats are small; we found the nearest rental shop on the map and called the owner, who will tell you where the bikes are). It's a ten-minute ride (there are ancient bridges along the way, so you can enjoy the scenery). The area to Xianghui Station is very photogenic, and the fields next to the station are also quite charming. Inside the station, there are delicious cakes (super chocolate!), freshly baked pineapple buns with pineapple, and freshly baked Litsea cubeba beef pizza – super delicious! Two semi-retired people in their 30s were very satisfied in Daoli. We'll be back in a couple of days.

I booked Fanqi B&B after reading online reviews. On the morning of the day I submitted the order, I received a call from the store telling me about the nearby parking lot. I arrived at the B&B that night and found that the small front door was a different world from the inside. The four-entry courtyard has a history of a hundred years. The store owner was very enthusiastic and upgraded our room and introduced the historical story of the courtyard. He also provided us with scenic spots and food guides for visiting Jianshui. The room and bathroom were also very clean, the hot water temperature was very high, the breakfast was very rich and provided according to our requirements. The B&B also provided free Hanfu for us to take photos and barbecue around the stove. Traveling off-peak, there are not many tourists. We found the feeling of home in Fanqi, which made us start a pleasant journey

I have always been a bit hesitant to book this kind of old house B&B, fearing poor soundproofing, fear of noise, and fear of small rooms, but Zhuye Xuan completely subverted my concept. It is delicious, delicious, and comfortable to live in. Living here is cultural. I'm a lazy person who rarely writes reviews, but this time I was deeply moved by the owner and his family. Even the cleaning lady was so friendly and lovely. It truly revitalized my solo trip to Jianshui. The hotel is perfectly located, away from the hustle and bustle, yet very close to the train station and the ancient city—just over a hundred meters away. There are many traditional rice noodle shops just outside the door, so you can leisurely fill your stomach before heading out to explore. When I was going to and from the station, the owner drove a tricycle to the intersection to pick me up, worried about the inconvenience of lugging my luggage, even though it was only a few steps away. In the morning, when they saw me in the room, they asked if I wanted breakfast (my reservation didn't include it). I had already eaten, but the owner insisted on giving me an egg for protein and a box of brown sugar before I left. The ladies said they'd come back next year, and I replied, ”I'll be back in two months!” ❤️ I'm from the north, and this family is so gentle and polite. The entire inn is elegant and grand. The two-story courtyard is surrounded by bougainvillea, where you can swing on the swings, watch the moon, drink tea, and chat—it's so relaxing. The interior is on par with a four-star hotel in the city, with separate wet and dry areas, disposable towels, and brand-new hard and soft furnishings. The air is also very airy. I don't like old, dingy hotels, so this truly felt like home! Thank you again to the owner for his thoughtful hospitality. He booked me a train ticket in the middle of the night, provided me with food, drinks, and hairbands, and offered travel advice along the way. Please keep driving! I'll be back with friends. This hotel, which just opened last year, features an all-wood interior design, giving it a classic, antique feel similar to an old mansion. It's three stories high with a limited number of rooms. Personally, I found the indoor lighting a bit dim; perhaps that's just because I prefer bright rooms. The hotel is located at the end of a municipal road, surrounded by local residential houses, so the visual surroundings are just okay. However, it does have an underground parking lot, which is very convenient. The rooms are clean, hygienic, and comfortable, with luxurious and well-thought-out decor. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but it's definitely sufficient, offering local specialties like extra-large bowls of rice noodles, along with milk, coffee, fruit, and yogurt. The restaurant service was quite good.

A truly delightful stay! This stay was a complete surprise! The hotel completely changed my perception of traditional hotels. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt the immense care put into every detail. In terms of hardware facilities, the modern design of the public areas made me feel very comfortable and sophisticated, with no hint of being outdated. The in-room facilities were very complete and comfortable, especially the mattress – it was just the right firmness with excellent support, allowing me to lie down and relax completely, ensuring a super comfortable night's sleep. The whole environment was decorated very warmly, giving a 'welcome home' feeling as soon as you entered. The service experience was an even bigger bonus. Every staff member had a kind smile, and their service was incredibly warm and attentive. From check-in to check-out, every step made me feel respected and valued. Overall, this is a hotel with a beautiful environment and excellent service. I highly recommend it to all travelers seeking quality!

I particularly liked the overall atmosphere of the hotel. Since we were traveling as a family, we received a free room upgrade. The room was spacious, clean, and hygienic. The front desk service was excellent and very responsive. The breakfast selection was plentiful, and there was also a buffet afternoon tea. The balcony offered a view of Chaoyang Tower, and the hotel was conveniently located near the east gate of the ancient city and various attractions. Highly recommended.

We booked a mini double room and at the reception they made sure we liked it before giving it to us. In reality, despite being a mini double room, the room was spacious, with all the necessary amenities. We found everything we needed for the shower and hygiene. The cleanliness was absolutely perfect. Chinese-style buffet breakfast, although at the reception we were told it was an international cuisine. The location of the hotel is perfect for those travelling by train (15 minutes by bus from the station) and is a 20-minute walk from the historic centre. I absolutely recommend it!

This guesthouse is super convenient; taxis can drop you right at the entrance, which shows the owner really thought about the perfect location. The guesthouse has three floors, and each level's common area is thoughtfully decorated with lots of succulents, making it very pleasant to look at. The room facilities are standard, but the air conditioning blows directly onto the bed, making it quite chilly at night. A pottery throwing experience was included with the stay. Although there wasn't much guidance, it was fun to just go with the flow and added a nice touch to the trip.
