Guest UserI booked Fanqi B&B after reading online reviews. On the morning of the day I submitted the order, I received a call from the store telling me about the nearby parking lot. I arrived at the B&B that night and found that the small front door was a different world from the inside. The four-entry courtyard has a history of a hundred years. The store owner was very enthusiastic and upgraded our room and introduced the historical story of the courtyard. He also provided us with scenic spots and food guides for visiting Jianshui. The room and bathroom were also very clean, the hot water temperature was very high, the breakfast was very rich and provided according to our requirements. The B&B also provided free Hanfu for us to take photos and barbecue around the stove. Traveling off-peak, there are not many tourists. We found the feeling of home in Fanqi, which made us start a pleasant journey

Annabelle Da SilvaAccommodation conveniently located in a quiet street of old Jianshui.
The owners have the sense of hospitality: they greet you with tea and fruits, they share grilled tofu with you. They are super friendly, speak Englisgh, are thoughtful and really willing to help.
I would highly recommend this place for your stay in Jianshui.

I have always been a bit hesitant to book this kind of old house B&B, fearing poor soundproofing, fear of noise, and fear of small rooms, but Zhuye Xuan completely subverted my concept. It is delicious, delicious, and comfortable to live in. Living here is cultural. Thank you Jasmine, thank you Sasha, thank you to other friends, thank you for making our stay warm🙏🙏🙏
Afternoon tea snacks and breakfast have always been something I will never forget, as well as the delicious hand-brewed coffee next door👍👍👍

ShanghaihanlvThe hotel boasts a prime location, right next to the small train station and not far from Jianshui Ancient City—about an 8-minute walk! It's a newly opened hotel, and the rooms are clean and tidy. The double beds are quite large, and the mattresses and bedding are comfortable. The shower in the bathroom has strong water pressure, making showering comfortable. The breakfast selection isn't extensive, but the portions are generous and filling! They even have local specialty rice noodles! The owner is incredibly welcoming; they not only upgraded our room but also helped us book our train tickets and suggested tourist attractions! We are very grateful! There are plenty of parking spaces, making it convenient for tourists traveling by car!

## Review
**Amenities:** The hotel boasts comprehensive and thoughtful facilities. Our New Chinese Song-style room was spacious and bright with excellent natural light. The bathroom featured a wet/dry separation, and some room types even come with a bathtub. The bedding was skin-friendly and comfortable for a good night's sleep. Common areas include a free underground parking lot, a gym, massage chairs, and a tea-tasting area. You can even rent Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) for free to take photos – the attention to detail is truly impressive.
**Hygiene:** The hygiene standards are rigorously maintained. Each guest room is thoroughly cleaned and refreshed for every new guest. The bedding is pristine and odorless, and the bathrooms are free of mold and water stains. All toiletries are complete and spotless. Public areas such as the courtyard, corridors, and elevators are cleaned and disinfected daily, with no dust in the corners, ensuring a comfortable and worry-free stay.
**Environment:** The 'Sky Courtyard' exudes ancient charm, with its grey bricks and black tiles, koi pond, and lush green corridors. Every step offers a new scenic view, creating a tranquil oasis amidst the hustle and bustle. Located in the heart of the ancient city, it's just a hundred steps from Chaoyang Tower. You can enjoy views of the ancient city from your window, wake up to birdsong in the morning, and enjoy peaceful evenings. The ambiance is absolutely superb.
**Service:** The service is warm, thoughtful, and highly responsive, with 24-hour butler service. From check-in guidance and luggage storage to itinerary planning and parking arrangements, they provide attentive care throughout. The front desk staff are genuinely patient and provide detailed information about local attractions and cuisine. They are always on hand to assist with any requests, making for an experience that exceeded our expectations.

Guest User1. **Location: Within Walking Distance of the Night Market, Yet Quiet Inside**
The hotel is right next to Zitao Street Night Market, a 2-minute walk to explore and enjoy grilled tofu or browse for Zitao pottery. It's a 5-minute drive to Jianshui Ancient City and Chaoyang Tower, and about a 10-minute drive to the Seventeen-Arch Bridge and the small train station.
The building is soundproofed. Even with the lively night market downstairs, the guest rooms are incredibly quiet, perfectly balancing the vibrant outside with a tranquil inside.
2. **Design & Instagram-worthy Spots: Jianshui's Top Photo-Op Hotel**
The overall style is a blend of Republic of China-era old mansions and French art:
* **Public Areas:** Feature a vinyl record player, vintage velvet sofas, and brass carved摆件, exuding a classic film aesthetic. There's also an in-house Republic of China-era photo studio with free qipao changes for photos, so no need to rent additional costumes.
* **Architectural Features:** Partial red brick hollow art walls (just like the building structure you photographed) offer picturesque backdrops everywhere. You can fill your social media feeds with photos without even leaving the hotel.
* **Guest Room Details:** Impeccably designed with vintage brass switches and retro table lamps. The soft furnishings are exquisite, blending classical exteriors with modern amenities like smart toilets and intelligent lighting.
3. **Hardware & Facilities: Virtually Unrivaled in Jianshui at This Price Point**
* **Swimming Pool:** A 50-meter standard indoor heated pool with stable water temperature year-round, suitable for family fun or daily workouts. It's complemented by a professional gym, billiards, mahjong room, and a spa, so you can spend an entire day without leaving the hotel.
* **Bedding & Toiletries:** Features Serta spine-support mattresses throughout and Shiseido toiletries, rivaling five-star hotels in sleep and wash quality.
* **Convenience Amenities:** Free charging stations, a self-service laundry room, and free parking, making it very convenient for long-distance road trips.
4. **Culinary Delight: Exclusive 'Free Four Meals a Day' – Experience Authentic Local Flavors**
This is its most distinctive feature: the room rate includes four meals a day, so you don't need to go out looking for food:
* **Breakfast:** Local breakfast items like Zitao steam pot chicken rice noodles, Jianshui grilled 'erkuai', plus a Western buffet.
* **Lunch:** Freshly cooked 'Guoqiao' rice noodles with a full array of ingredients, a taste approved by locals.
* **Afternoon Tea:** Yunnan-style fresh flower pastries with Pu'er/chrysanthemum tea.
* **Late-Night Snack:** Zha Jiang rice noodles, specialty snacks. You can grab an extra meal even after a late-night stroll through the night market.
* The chef regularly introduces seasonal Jianshui ingredients like water caltrops and wild mushrooms, so lazy travelers can simply stay in the hotel and enjoy all the local cuisine.
5. **Soft Services**
The front desk provides free ancient city tour guides, and free pick-up/drop-off services can be arranged during certain times. The service staff wear traditional Republic of China-era uniforms with knotted buttons, creating a unified ambiance. They are quick to respond, and for families with children, they proactively offer child-specific amenities.

I'm a lazy person who rarely writes reviews, but this time I was deeply moved by the owner and his family. Even the cleaning lady was so friendly and lovely. It truly revitalized my solo trip to Jianshui. The hotel is perfectly located, away from the hustle and bustle, yet very close to the train station and the ancient city—just over a hundred meters away. There are many traditional rice noodle shops just outside the door, so you can leisurely fill your stomach before heading out to explore.
When I was going to and from the station, the owner drove a tricycle to the intersection to pick me up, worried about the inconvenience of lugging my luggage, even though it was only a few steps away. In the morning, when they saw me in the room, they asked if I wanted breakfast (my reservation didn't include it). I had already eaten, but the owner insisted on giving me an egg for protein and a box of brown sugar before I left. The ladies said they'd come back next year, and I replied, ”I'll be back in two months!” ❤️
I'm from the north, and this family is so gentle and polite. The entire inn is elegant and grand. The two-story courtyard is surrounded by bougainvillea, where you can swing on the swings, watch the moon, drink tea, and chat—it's so relaxing. The interior is on par with a four-star hotel in the city, with separate wet and dry areas, disposable towels, and brand-new hard and soft furnishings. The air is also very airy. I don't like old, dingy hotels, so this truly felt like home!
Thank you again to the owner for his thoughtful hospitality. He booked me a train ticket in the middle of the night, provided me with food, drinks, and hairbands, and offered travel advice along the way. Please keep driving! I'll be back with friends.
Please see the pictures for the ambiance!

Guest UserMy second time stay here, this time on the way back from Yuan Yang en route to Kunming. Delightful afternoon tea in tastefully furnished tea reception room.
Book is nice and soft to sleep on. Also enjoyed the excellent breakfast.
Service so good that we decided to extend stay by one night.
The manager. Mr Shao, is friendly and wonderful to talk to, who recommends us a nice Hui restaurant to dine in, and timing to see sunset at ShuangLong Bridge.
His colleague, Mr Han, is very attentive in serving our needs.
Hotel also gives us a lift to the train station on its new Toyota Alphard which is very comfortable to sit in.
Awesome to find hotel with 5-star service in a small town like Jianshui. Hope that hotel can keep up to current standards.

A truly delightful stay!
This stay was a complete surprise! The hotel completely changed my perception of traditional hotels. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt the immense care put into every detail.
In terms of hardware facilities, the modern design of the public areas made me feel very comfortable and sophisticated, with no hint of being outdated. The in-room facilities were very complete and comfortable, especially the mattress – it was just the right firmness with excellent support, allowing me to lie down and relax completely, ensuring a super comfortable night's sleep. The whole environment was decorated very warmly, giving a 'welcome home' feeling as soon as you entered.
The service experience was an even bigger bonus. Every staff member had a kind smile, and their service was incredibly warm and attentive. From check-in to check-out, every step made me feel respected and valued.
Overall, this is a hotel with a beautiful environment and excellent service. I highly recommend it to all travelers seeking quality!

Guest UserThe last two days of our trip were spent in Jianshui, and the most satisfying experience was definitely staying at the Home Inn Huayi Hotel! The first impression was one of warmth and relaxation. Free laundry service was also provided in the rooms. The breakfast was varied and quite delicious!
Location-wise, it's very convenient to get to the ancient city, Zitao Street, Zhu Family Garden, and other nearby attractions by taxi—all within about 2-3 kilometers!
Being near the highway can be a bit noisy, but choosing a room away from the highway is much better.
