My most profound impression of Jianshui was Ting Ziyun, and what impressed me most about Ting Ziyun was Manager Luo. What does it truly mean for service to exceed guest expectations? What does it mean when genuine warmth surpasses practiced techniques? What does it mean when the emotional value provided completely overshadows any minor flaws? You will profoundly understand all of this at Ting Ziyun. Indeed, while Ting Ziyun, converted from a magnificent old mansion, boasts impeccable design throughout, its interiors are showing their age and could certainly benefit from an upgrade. Yet, the service team led by General Manager Luo somehow elevates guest satisfaction to an absolute peak, making visitors completely overlook any small imperfections. The enthusiasm and initiative of every staff member seem genuinely heartfelt. They offer personalized services as if completely oblivious to the cost – truly embodying the simple philosophy of treating every guest like family. One can't help but wonder how General Manager Luo has managed to instill this service philosophy so deeply into his team's hearts, year after year, detail by painstaking detail. Perhaps his secret lies in leading by example, ensuring strict adherence to standards, and a genuine 'fatherly care' for his team members. It sometimes makes one reflect on the saying, 'True courtesy can be found even in the countryside.' In Jianshui, a seemingly unassuming provincial town, you witness an individual's journey of growth, refinement, and enlightenment, and experience the nearly flawless operation of a team. It feels as though a compassionate fate has chosen to reveal profound truths through the life journey of one man – from a humble farm boy, to a demobilized soldier, a security guard, a restaurant manager, and ultimately a hotel general manager. This journey, visible to every guest at Ting Ziyun, declares a powerful message: Goodness is made manifest in this establishment, and goodness resides in the human heart.

Before checking in, I received a caring call from the hotel front desk and received a map. I followed the directions and arrived immediately. The location was easy to find. 🈶 There's dedicated parking and charging stations downstairs, and you can take the elevator to the front desk for check-in. The lobby also has plenty of scented teas and an ice machine, allowing you to make your own or just drink pre-made. After a day of fun, I really needed some water to stay hydrated! The room 🈶 had a huge floor-to-ceiling window, which was my favorite. I sat by the window, sipping afternoon tea and flipping through my favorite magazines. The bustling world outside, the tranquility of nature within, was truly amazing. The entire hotel staff was very polite and always greeted me. I bought a lot of local specialties during my stay, but they couldn't carry them, so they even delivered them to my room. The service was excellent👍. The amenities were all very complete, including TOTO bathroom fixtures, a Dyson hair dryer with both a curling and direct-drying accessory, a Sony TV, a Grand Mercure Xinda kettle, and a landline phone. Everything was high-quality. The owner truly puts his heart into the hotel. The rice noodles for breakfast were delicious, and the chili sauce was amazing. The waiter highly recommended it, and it's a must-try. There are also many other places to eat nearby, including long-established rice noodle shops, delicious Jianshui barbecue, and specialty shops.

The hardware at this price exceeded expectations, especially Hansgrohe for the bathroom, Dyson's hair dryer is not locked, it is very convenient to use. Secondly, the service level and corresponding are very positive. The whole room is well lit and not dim. This is comparable to all the head hotels under the front-line brands. Most of the indoor facilities should be solid wood, although it is newly opened, there is no smell. The farmer for bottled water is not fooled. The only downside may be that the main building is a wooden structure, which makes the sound insulation not very good. The Chinese restaurant is too small, resulting in insufficient breakfast location. But the price is here, it is already very good!

A truly delightful stay! This stay was a complete surprise! The hotel completely changed my perception of traditional hotels. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt the immense care put into every detail. In terms of hardware facilities, the modern design of the public areas made me feel very comfortable and sophisticated, with no hint of being outdated. The in-room facilities were very complete and comfortable, especially the mattress – it was just the right firmness with excellent support, allowing me to lie down and relax completely, ensuring a super comfortable night's sleep. The whole environment was decorated very warmly, giving a 'welcome home' feeling as soon as you entered. The service experience was an even bigger bonus. Every staff member had a kind smile, and their service was incredibly warm and attentive. From check-in to check-out, every step made me feel respected and valued. Overall, this is a hotel with a beautiful environment and excellent service. I highly recommend it to all travelers seeking quality!

This guesthouse, which I carefully selected after a long search, truly surprised me. Its red-brick courtyard is next to the Confucian Temple, offering stunning views of blue skies and green tiles. The terrace overlooks the shimmering waters of the Xuehai Lake (a scenic area in Jianshui). Banana trees and greenery adorn the old-style building, perfect for photos taken during the Republic of China era. The interior is even more delightful, with a coffee bar featuring a giant cactus, a water feature courtyard hidden behind a wooden lattice door, and a tea room filled with local Jianshui artifacts. Every corner exudes a retro and relaxed atmosphere. In my room, I could see the Confucian Temple from the bed, and the bedding was so soft it felt like sinking into a cloud. I was woken by the sunlight and the aroma of tea in the mornings, the air itself imbued with the slow pace of the ancient city. The owner was very welcoming, and the service was excellent. Highly recommended!

The room is generally OK, the best thing is the mattress, it is very comfortable to sleep on. The location is good. It is very convenient to eat barbecue next door. It is only a 5-minute walk. There are also several large snack shops around. It is said that this is because there are many students from Jianshui private schools. The breakfast was ok, but there were too many people in the morning, and the hall for breakfast was cold without air conditioning. The wash area in the room is quite narrow, and the toilet is really small, which makes me feel like I am just shutting myself in. The room is not soundproofed, and any noise outside can be heard inside. The service staff was not as good as the previous comments said. I arrived at the hotel after 1:00 pm and they didn't arrange check-in yet. Objectively speaking, it can only be a quasi-four-star hotel, and its infrastructure and service management need to be improved.

The hotel is very close to the ancient city and Zitao Street. The decor is unique and elegant, and our room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was rich and delicious, especially the cross-bridge rice noodles. My kids loved it, even eating a huge bowl. The small steamed chicken was also very nice. The service was attentive and considerate, and the owner was very helpful in recommending local specialties. It was a wonderful experience. Overall, my family and I had a great time on our trip to Jianshui. Highly recommended!

This time I came to Jianshui to play and really chose the right hotel. A very treasured old hotel. Although it has been a long time, it can be renovated recently. The facilities are very complete in all aspects and the price is very high. The young ladies at the front desk, Xiaoyu and Xiaoqiu, had a very good service attitude. They sent welcome fruits when they checked in. Seeing that we took the children and upgraded the room type for free, they were very friendly to the children, which made people feel very warm. Breakfast is really rich, especially rice noodles, light hats have many choices, there are particularly delicious peanut soup, small dumplings and sweet liquor, fruit is also very fresh, the elderly, children and we can find our favorite taste, eat very full. The hotel also sent a buffet lunch coupon, but unfortunately our trip had to leave early in the morning, and we couldn't experience it. I hope that we will make up for this meal next time we come to Jianshui. I tried the nearby barbecue last night, it was very delicious! After dinner, take a walk to Guangci Lake for about 20 minutes, and then go forward to Zitao Street. In the future, Jianshui will also choose here 👍👍👍

I checked into the Jianshui Lakeview Inn on November 30th for two nights, and then promptly extended my stay for another night. This was my first solo trip, so I had high standards for accommodation. It had to feel like home – warm, comfortable, and safe. The inn delivered on all of these. Surprisingly, I didn't feel lonely or bored at all while traveling alone. Three things are particularly noteworthy: When I arrived, I found the room didn't quite suit my mood, and the lovely housekeeper immediately came upstairs and showed me two more rooms so I could choose. Entering the room, I was surprised to see the bedding was absolutely brand new; honestly, I was worried about getting my skincare products on the sheets and pillows. I told the housekeeper I had a cold and needed to drink more water, and she immediately brought me several bottles of mineral water. These things may seem small, but details really do make a difference! Also, the inn's location is superb; standing in front of the window, you can see Xiaogui Lake! Finally, thank you to the lovely owner, the Lakeview Inn, for making this trip another comfortable and wonderful memory!
