Cyprotel Faliraki

Average all inclusive family holiday. You got what you paid for. Entertainment team works so hard.. But as though they are put under pressure to do so. Paper cups for drinks. Always something to eat. Good waterslides. Beds were all ripped... Room very basic. Done the job. Kids weren't impressed (2 teenager).... Which was part of the reason we chose this hotel.... We only went out to hotel entertainment a couple of times because the way it was set up. Average.

This hotel is amazing, plenty to do for the children and adults.. plenty of food to grab , the animation team is a big credit to the hotel victor and Douglas are brilliant and funny The rooms are nice and clean , get cleaned daily , Pools spotless and always gets cleaned early morning Would I come back here.. YES no thinking about it I’d book again and come back We were nervous about this place but we come to decide for ourselves and it was the best decision we have done !! This hotel is amazing

Well, if you like a shoddy haven holiday, this place will feel like a 4* resort. Otherwise , lower your expectations by at least 2 stars . The ONLY 4* experience is the animation team who is working really hard at making this place enjoyable. Shabby furniture , miserable reception staff , no hot water after 7pm, crappy drinks ( think super concentrated squash) , diluted alcohol, curtains with holes in them, wardrobe door falling off , bathroom has shower curtains, floor drains in bathroom bubbling up and bringing up foam every time you had a shower , hand wash/ shower gel supplied but real crappy dispensed ones, ripped chairs in restaurant, full of ants everywhere, even inside the place, too much chlorine in water turning everything green ( swimwear, towels, blonde hair) , food very basic with often having whatever was left at dinner the night before for lunch , no fresh dolmas, a LOT of pork ( beware of you don’t eat pork as most minced meat was mixed pork & beef ) , souvlaki again made out of pork ( this was served once ) , kids running around in restaurant, no queueing system, Ice available in a travel bucket ( saw a kid licking the ice just on top of the bucket with water dripping down into bucket ) , no fresh fish other than some sort of red sardine like fish , fruit & desert selection very limited. Sun loungers are a struggle to get hold of , if you don’t wake up at 5- 6 to get one you won’t have one . Lifeguards too busy on their phone to pay attention to kids sliding down the water sliding into each others heads . Won’t return here, waste of money. People who rave about this place are more than likely loyal customers who return because they feel important due to relationships forged with staff. This place doesn’t deserve more than 2 stars .

Rooms are very average and need some maintence skirting boards and wardrobes need replacing, lovely pool,lovely hotel reps who kept everyone busy, food was ok but very samey.Entertainmet wasn't the best and we all had to sit on the cold stone seating area. We visited the local beach and would walk the 15 mins there and usually catch the free bus back to the hotel. Beach was stunning please visit.

Where to start, after being evacuated from the fires in the south my family and I were relocated to the Cyprotel Hotel. On arrival we was made to feel so welcome and told to relax and try and enjoy the remaining of our holiday. The room was lovely and spacious and clean with a huge bed!!. The food was lovely and was always to try that was new, the food was also good for the children maybe just a little bit more of a variety needed for them but overall lovely. Lots of pools and activities to choose from and all kept so very clean. The staff were truly amazing and would go out of their way to make our stay the best it could be. But the biggest shutout had to go to the Entertainment team!!!!!!! They were spectacular, always friendly lots of energy and brilliant with the children. VICTOR Big hi to you :) ( he will make you buy a t shirt believe me ) also to Kai (brilliant dancer:)) and to all the rest of the team, you made my Sons holiday after what starred off pretty traumatic. We will definitely be back!!!!!!! Thank you for having us Rosie, Lewis and Lewis x

A nice hotel that needs an update on check-in was quick the room we had needed update but the room had lots of space The bathroom was grand and the rooms were clean from Monday to Saturday no house cleaning on Sunday as there were four for the first few days we had to call the reception a number of times for towels and got them quickly the pool area was kept clean and you need to be up early to get a sunbed the waterpark was great the restaurant was a standard buffet style lots of pork dish breakfast was nice the snack bar was nice burgers chips hot dogs sandwiches chips dinner was ok could do with few more dishes the bus to the beach was great the driver was lovely and friendly good location short walk to all the main bar and restaurant the animation team was great worked very hard overall it was a great holiday as a holiday is what you make it

Great hotel although without a doubt not a 4 star borderline 3 if I'm honest,family of 4 went for 10 nights the hotel is situated in a good spot within walking distance to everything hotel staff are lovely and very helpful.Rooms are very basic and dated and most the doors are rotten at the bottom where they have been cleaned that much with solution we had mice running around the gaps under the doors are that big and the towel situation was ridiculous we either had no towels changed or feet towels in place of face towels or a mixture of whatever the maid had left it was a bit scatty,although the hotel was a bit dated we still had a good time and would go back Rhodes.I certainly wouldn't pay the nearly 7k easyjet are asking for a family of 4 in August I'd expect pay 3 amd half to 4 tops its just not worth it.

Arrived to a busy and tiny reception desk with one member of staff to check us all in. Wandered around with cases to find our room and immediately had a really bad impression. The route we took presented us with the backs of the rooms granted but the grass was scorched with ****s and the paint was shocking on the building! Finally found our room (block 6), as far as you could get up the hill and that’s what if asked for however there was a humungous generator outside this block of room and we had no sleep that night. With ear plugs rammed in following nights we got used to it but sitting on the balcony was over shadowed by a loud hum! Our towels when we arrived were unbelievable, wish I took a photo. Very small hand towel and what I assume was 2 bath towels which in my book were more like hand towels and were all frayed at the edges (I’ve used better towels on my dog)! That improved but not by much! The dining room was crazy so leave it till late to go! Food was cold and in the evenings only one side of a small serving area was open so very limited choice to what I’m used to from a 4star. It was so busy with families but they were smoking and very loud and the drinks, vile and served in cardboard kids party cups which made them taste even worse. I have never written a review but this hotel was SO disappointing and leaves me wondering for such a busy hotel, why aren’t they spending more on the paintwork and gardens that are not front facing and invest in decent towels and at least some decent plastic cups not kiddies cardboard cups for cocktails and drinks. Sorry Cyprotel, that’s my honest view.

We arrived late at night and struggled to find our room in the dark. Luckily our kids are 13 and 9 so the steps and hill were not an issue but could be for people with mobility issues and prams. We had paid for a 2 bedroom apartment which was nice so we had 2 wardrobes and plenty of space and a double balcony looking down onto the main pool. The only thing I would avoid is using the thick blankets. We got these out on day 3 and my daughter woke up covered in lots of tiny bites( not like the mosquito bites) There was plenty of choice for food, but it was only luke warm. Kids were disappointed there were no pancakes for breakfast like in other hotels we’ve stayed. Lots of honey bees round the bar and pool ( not wasps) which were a bit of a nuisance but what can they do. Drinks served in paper cups but cocktails were decent. The hotel staff, from reception to cleaners were all really lovely! Entertainment round the pool was good , can’t get the club dance song out of my head! Beer pong, darts, football , water polo, volleyball. Shout out to Victor who had us in stitches and Douglas with his “crazy” aqua gym! Mini disco every night for the little ones. Adult entertainment on a night could be better , we did the same music quiz twice, they didn’t think to change the songs for people there over a week. Maybe they need to have a 2 week plan of entertainment so it’s different every night. We also enjoyed a trip to Rhodes town which is stunning, gorgeous little streets with pretty shops and plenty of bars and restaurants! Faliraki looks a little run down I wouldn’t go again, I’d love to pick this hotel up and put it somewhere else!!!
