excellent all round would certainly return staff were brilliant nothing was too much problem food was top class and service

Had a wonderful time at this hotel. It is so close to the town and everything you could want. Breakfast is wonderful cannot comment on dinner as we ate elsewhere

Sealed Bedroom Windows! It was like sleeping in a corporate office block with no emergency exit. We did not expect that when we booked. Couldn't get the Air Con down to a comfortable temperature, way too hot in the night. We much prefer a natural air flow from a partially opened window....such a shame as we always book Premier Inn....so from first choice, Premier Inn is now our last. We wanted to complain at the Reception Desk (who were very good, excellent in fact), but did not want to be seen as trying to get a price reduction. Though we did ask and was informed, it's for fire reasons, "the lack of oxygen helps put the fire out"....We just want a Premier Inn without "sealed bedroom windows".

Modern Premier Inn very conveniently situated 5 minutes walk from centre of Keswick. Comfortable bed and good sized room. Usual great value Premier Inn breakfast. What sets this apart from other hotels though is the friendliness of every single member of staff - brilliant. We will return the lovely town of Keswick on the jewel of the lakes - Derwentwater- and when we do we'll look no further than this Premier Inn

First the honesty bit ,I've recently stopped working for a direct premier inn competitor chain but not in this location after not far off 19 years permanent weekend night audit ,my lovely wife still works in that same hotel as reception team member but also covers breakfast currently heading for 18 year service all our combined service is in the same location. I've stayed in and reviewed a premier inn hub hotel and this seems more in that range than a full fat proper premier inn. We checked in to a premier plus room arrived bang on 3pm just given keys ,nothing signed no 2nd guest details checked ,no housekeeping details given no restaurant bar or breakfast times given we were also given no details for the ultimate WiFi we should have had being in an upgraded room but I did get that later after asking. The room was ok but I've been in bigger standard premier inn rooms in other locations . Room facilities ok. Far as I could see the upgraded room comes with a Nespresso machine a fridge stocked with 2 bottles of water and a couple of small bars of chocolate and to be fair the coffee machine pods and bars of chocolate were re stocked when the room was serviced. We didn't eat or drink in the hotel as there's so much choice in Keswick but the restaurant especially seems very small and it's only a very reduced menu and meal deal they offer. It's a decent location ,we got a deal by booking well in advance which was a decent deal overall but if this building regardless of brand was anywhere but the lake district I'd feel hard done by thinking I'd overpaid quite a bit. It's a chain with a chains advantages ( there are also disadvantages ,I should know I worked in a chain hotel long enough). We have re booked another visit to Keswick ,in a more individual hotel at quite a higher price and I'm quite happy with that. It'll get it's share no doubt about that but not for me.

Good service, good rooms that are immaculate and great breakfast all in an excellent location with a 5 min walk into town with all the amenities, restaurants and shops.

Clean, smart, fresh with very friendly staff and good food. Tiny car park but there’s plenty of space at the pencil museum less than 5 mins walk away

Fabulous location and beautiful. Lovely comfortable stay. Staff fantastic. Can't fault it. Very central
