Hotel Port Moji

You have to walk a little from the station, but it's quite close if you're driving.

The room is relatively small but quite comfortable. It is enough if you are on a business trip, but it may not be so spacious if you go out for fun. The location is not very good. There is only one convenience store in the week.

The room is small but clean. You have to go up one flight of stairs to get to the lobby. There is an elevator. The location is okay. It's not far from the station. There is a 7-11 nearby and a supermarket opposite. There are tableware and microwaves in the corridor.

It's about a 10-minute walk from Mojiko Station/attractions. There are washing machines and dryers downstairs in the hotel, which are pretty good, but I didn't need to use them, so I didn't ask about the charges. The room is relatively small and the water pipe is a bit noisy. When the neighbors use water, it will be very noisy. After that, it will be fine. I have to mention that there is a large supermarket diagonally opposite, where you can buy fruits and discounted sashimi sushi, which is very good and cheaper than Hakata.

Good hotel staff are friendly too

Located in Kitakyushu City, this hotel was very flexible and comfortable. There were a lot of free things and announcements on how to get points. Usually, you have to pay for TV, but it was free! Information on how to get Jalan points, etc. Unfortunately, when I checked out, I found information on the availability of drinks, but I gave up on getting a drink. There were also many tourist spots nearby, so it was a convenient location. For example, you can walk to and from the Kanmon Strait Underground Tunnel. Isn't it the only place you can walk across the strait? And best of all, if you get stamps on both sides, you can get something called a "Kanmon TOPPA! Commemorative Certificate"! It's a small thing, but it's a nice souvenir. I would like to stay here again.

Hotel Port Moji is now known as Teruha Spa Resort Moji. The last time I visited was before the COVID-19 pandemic, when it was still under its old name. Things have changed a lot since then. The food was disappointing. Other than being able to use the hot spring facilities, there is nothing else worth mentioning. If I had to say something, I would say that the woman at the front desk was polite. The hotel restaurant is currently closed, so you will have to use the "Food Dining Terimore" in the hot spring building. The staff here are not very friendly. They are so lazy that they don't even say hello. The food served is just this bad (photo). The low quality of the free salad is also sad. ■Good points ・The hot spring building is solid. It seems to be popular with locals. ・The stadium sauna is spacious and comfortable. The cold bath, water dispenser and other pathways are excellent. ・The view of the sea side is wonderful (can be seen from the dining room). ■Bad points ・The food and dining room are very disappointing. ・The dining room staff are also very disappointing (they seem to be angry about something). ・There are no night staff at the hotel. Is the security company in charge? Is that okay? ・Noise from the road side (earplugs are available).・Morning bath and meal times overlap, so you have to make a choice. ・Breakfast on weekdays starts at 7:30. That's late.

Covered parking is available, check-in at 14:00, check-out at 11:00. It's a little hard to find, and you might get lost if you're visiting for the first time. It's close to Moji Tourist Port, but it's in the opposite direction from Moji Station, so you'll probably need a car. However, it's close to the Kanmon Tunnel and the Kanmon Kaikyo Bridge. The single room is a little, or rather, quite small. The sliding window gives it a very old business hotel feel. You can add breakfast for an additional 100 yen, but it's a light meal like the morning meal at a coffee shop. It's not very filling, but it's good enough for 100 yen. There is also a free washing machine and dryer outside.
