We realised booking through trip.com caused a few problems for us. Check in was not through the main desk but through a separate company who were based on a sofa. Basically they are not flexible and the staff seem scared to support their customers in case they get into trouble. I would advise the company to work on their customer service. Also WhatsApp check in was necessary which i was unable to set up on my chinese phone. Thankfully my partner was able. The actual apartment was nice and clean. A lovely sky pool but its cold not heated. The rooms were not cleaned until late evening despite having the please clean sign out since 10am. This meant we had finished our day out and returned to the apartment not being cleaned. The location was perfect, very convenient to walk and use the metro. I would come again but book through a different company for half the price and better service.

We stayed at Platinum Suites 2 by Luma while we were in Kuala Lampur for the last 2 days of our holiday. Below is my comprehensive review of the hotel. Great: Facilities: Rooms, Kitchen and Living room is clean. All common areas are very clean. Multiple ACs around the flat and the washing machine is very handy. Location: Great city centre close to Petronas towers. Easily walkable to most attractions in the city. Gym: Well equipped gym with panoramic views of the city from 50th floor. It was quiet when I visited. Good: Bathroom: The 2 bathrooms with showers was clean and modern and any other toiletries we needed can be ordered through a QR code rather than being kept there. Staff: Friendly and courteous, some of the receptionists are in training with some help needed. Bad: Water pressure: The shower water pressure was horrendous and it takes so long to have a shower. The shower head doesn't stay in place and turns towards the wall which was annoying. Trolleys: Bag trolleys has to be collected from another counter and when we went there, they sent us back to reception who has to approve it. A bit ridiculous to expect us to move 5 luggages without a trolley. Overall a nice stay in Kuala Lampur and highly recommended.

I booked this hotel through American Airlines travel agency and thought I was booking directly with Deface platinum 2 hotel. The hotel was not able to find my reservation. We did not stay there and LUMA is refusing to refund our payment or even let us book a different date. This company is not a part of the hotel. Scam company and very bad service.

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel. They took a deposit of $100 USD. Unfortunately on the second day we spilt a small amount of coffee in the bed, accidents happen! We requested for the room to be cleaned at 2pm unfortunately we had to ask 2 more times before the room was finally ‘cleaned’. They did not clean, just replenished towels and changed bin. They remade my bed leaving the coffee stained sheets on. We then received a text at 11:30pm the night before we checked out at 11am to say we would be charged 300 MYR (roughly $50 USD) for the small stain. Unfortunately this meant I was on my hands and knees scrubbing at the sheet with hand soap as they left it so late to let us know. At no point was I offered fresh sheets. I had to go down at 5am to request new sheets, they took half an hour before they rang the doorbell to inspect the sheets, before they would give me fresh ones!!!!! (Which then took another half an hour to recieve!!!) We then checked out at 11am and had to wait 20-30 mins for them to inspect our room. We were shown a photo of a very small tea mark on the sheets and told “we won’t charge you if you show us that you have written a very good review about us”. As they had our deposit and we didn’t want to give up $50! Extremely disappointed. Cold feeling to the hotel.

Beautiful balcony views however… there was a lot I did not like about this hotel. The lobby was so busy to start off with and elevators take ages to come down also lobby and elevators have no AC. The rooms itself were basic, only one wall socket per side of bed, and there were lamps plugged in which meant no where to charge your phone whilst in bed unless you left it on the other side of the room. Both rooms had showers which were cold and water would barely go warm when used. Bathrooms had a constant smell to it which lingered into the room. Bed sheets had blood stains and the floor mat in the living room has a stain… which I found disgusting The windows in the bed room are a NIGHTMARE, the glazing on the windows is so so thin you can hear every single car beep and multiple cars revving their engines, it kept us awake till 7am we couldn’t sleep at all with the noise. Extremely noisy!!!!! The worst part about the entire hotel. WiFi was AWFUL, One bar service and 1 bar wifi in the bedrooms, called a technician up and all he did was reset the wifi and couldn’t speak English, wifi is cheap and awful I had to use all my data through the time I was in the bed room. Ultimately the view was nice but everything else was very very poor and I would not recommend staying at this hotel. The pool had about 30 people constantly was unenjoyable…. It was so busy in the pool, couldn’t breathe and the AC in the rooms smelt

Very conveniently located by walking distances (5 minutes walk) to 2 mass transit rail stations, Dang Wangi LRT and Bukit Nanas monorail stations. It is also 8-01 minute walk to local F&B places at Chow Kit and Jalan P. Ramlee, popular restaurants such Hard Rock Cafe Kuala Lumpur and Restoran Nasi Kandar Pelita for all your breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper needs. It is also nearby to other popular hotels and therefore you are always able to find a buffet meal if desired. I stayed in a deluxe suite apartment equipped with WIFI. It is well furnished as well as spacious for 2-3 persons. It has a kitchenette, a study room, a walk in wardrobe, a shower/restroom, a living and a master bedroom. Its kitchenette are well-equipped with all the kitchen and dining wares for 2 person. It is also equipped with a Borsch 330L two-door refrigerator, a Borsch microwave oven, 2 electric stoves and a kitchen sink. Beside that would be an Electrolux washing/drying machine with washing washing detergent readily available. There is a small dining table, well supplied with 2 complimentary bottles of water, replenished when you asked to make up room which can be slow and would only be done up to 6pm. The living room has a 3-person sofa seat and large TV which is in front of your master bedroom; the master bedroom doesn’t have a door but a sliding divider between the bedroom and the living room. As such your living room TV is also your bedroom TV. The walk in wardrobe has a ironing board and a electric iron, hangers and a small hanging rack. The big shower/restroom is well supplied with toothbrushes, toothpastes, toilet paper, and shower towels. It has water heater for warm showers and hand washing basin. The pity is that there is no bathtub (I had booked the deluxe suite through *********** thinking it has a bathtub looking at the review and photo; not sure if it wasn’t listed properly or it was the *********** UX/UI problem, but I only realised it didn’t had a bathtub after I paid to check.) The infinity pool at the level 51 has breathe taking views during day and night and would open only at 8am. The sky bar at level 51 is equally happening at night, and therefore good for gathering with a view. The check-in/check-out reception service do not have a proper reception counter; it is located at various points by the low parapet wall around a lobby waiting seating area while the staff are not in uniform. Not exactly welcoming, rather confusing and makes one wonder if their booking with the service apartment was authentic.

Hotel was fantastic so please note this review is about the restaurant and allergies so if you have an allergy important read (restaurant not listed separately on TripAdvisor) I visited here on my last night of my solo trip to KL. Easy enough as the weather was bad so I was able to stay within the hotel. I was greeted with a warm welcome and the waiter was able to give me a great view of the city. Although one waiter was very keen to take my order straight away, I asked for a few minutes and within a minute he had returned. I ordered a drink and asked for more time, within 2 minutes he was back again so it became rushed and frustrating. I ordered the pad Thai and the waiter wanted to have a rice dish instead, it wasn’t a suggestion, he said tonight you have the rice dish instead of noodle. The noodles weren’t out of stock and I insisted I wanted the pad Thai but specified no fish due to an allergy. I pointed to shrimp, squid and said none. He understood and asked if chicken was okay which it was, but I said again NO FISH. When my meal arrived it contained what looked to be fish…I asked the waiter and he said ‘no sir it’s not fish but if you don’t like put to one side’. Then I asked if he was sure as it looks much like the texture of squid, he said no sir it’s not but put here If you don’t like. After the meal I left the restaurant and was approached by two customers who were seated next to me who confirmed that it was fish and I showed them the picture, they were concerned. I headed down to the reception to speak with a a manager. After 30 minutes I was taken upstairs and they confirmed it was a ‘fish cake’ but it’s okay as it containers flour. BUT IT CONTAINS FISH. The waiter was very apologetic but this wasn’t a language barrier it was simply something he ignored and he was too busy rushing me and suggesting other items on the menu to what I asked for. Awful experience that could have turned very bad. Luckily my allegory isn’t severe but if it was someone else who had a severe reaction then they could have blood on their hands. Just a sorry seemed to be all they could say. Avoid this place because there are simply so many other restaurants to go too where you will feel safe eating in a great environment. Not happy at all with this restaurant!
