However, the service failed to meet the expectations set by its sister hotel, leading to a series of disappointing encounters. 1. Sleep quality is important for travelers, and after a restless first night, I approached the front desk to request a room change. Despite my willingness to compromise on amenities or pay a difference, I was immediately met with a refusal, citing full occupancy. This was perplexing, especially since room availability was still shown online. The lack of effort to accommodate a simple request was disheartening. 2. The housekeeping service was below par. After requesting my room to be cleaned, I returned to find my used tea cup unwashed and the bed linens unchanged, a basic expectation of cleanliness and comfort not met. 3. The absence of air conditioning control during the night was particularly troubling. Despite expressing discomfort with the heat and inquiring for a solution, I was told the system was centrally controlled to emit warm air due to the cold weather outside.
