"The B&B is located in the scenic area, which is convenient for sightseeing. We arrived at night and called the B&B owner, who quickly came to show us the way. The room was very clean. I forgot to take pictures of the room. I booked a family suite with a loft and a small balcony. The pictures I took were the views from the balcony. When I left, the proprietress gave me a bag of Suzhou pastries. She was very enthusiastic. It was my first time staying in a B&B there, and I also saw the night view. There were also few people visiting in the morning, so it was a good experience!"

"Five star hotel in all the ways that count. Beautiful rooms, full ensuite with deep soak tub, quiet, clean and affordable priced for the quality of the property.
Breakfast buffet had a large selection of western options, as well as Asian dishes plus a full range of pastries, breads, soups, porridges, fresh fruits, yoghurts, cheese board with cold meats and the list goes on, and on, and on. Many staff on hand managing the different stations. Also huge window of availability 0630 to 1000.
Attached is a huge mall and half a block away is an Apple Store.

"Our time at Hotel Zhaoye was lovely! The homestay staff were kind, communicative, and accommodating. They offered Chinese and Western breakfast options, including meatless options for vegetarians. The beds were comfortable and the room was cozy. The location of the homestay was perfect for those visiting Zhaozhuang. The staff recommended local restaurants and activities. It was easiest to communicate via Weixin/Wechat or in-person. Would recommend!"

"I really like this hotel, it is already the third time I come here and for good reasons. It has a little something special then the regular tipical hotels offer. Like the nespresso coffee, or the soft comfy pillows for example.
Positively to mention is the staff. Speak good English and very friendly, like Jessie or David Wei for example. David not only speaks very good English, but threw in a free upgrade for me which made me feel special. The suite of the hotel is very spacious and offer plenties.
Highlight of this hotel, what I don't find anywhere else for this budget is the wellness area. Big pool, outstanding gym with TRX and body workout equipment. Best, however is the sauna with a cold plunge. A cold water plunge is almost impossible to find in other hotels, unless you are waaaaay in higher budget.
So for those out there practicing sauna + cold plunge, this is with no doubt your choice."

"I arrived late at night and, hoping to get some extra sleep, asked the staff to arrange a quiet room. The front desk assistant, Ms. Qi, was very responsive and the room was well-appointed. I slept very comfortably. [Strong] The entire check-in process was incredibly pleasant and reassuring. The room layout was exactly what I loved—it was new, simple, and stylish. I was completely satisfied with my stay and highly recommend it! I didn't expect it would be so good even though I booked it casually. I loved the hands-free Xiaodu smartphone in the room. "Stayed one more night and ate the black truffle chicken chop noodles at Su Noodle House. Tea was served as soon as we sat down. We ordered the red soup noodles with Pu'er soft-boiled eggs. The chicken chop tasted quite good when cut. Su Noodle House is on the first floor of Huayu. It is very quiet inside. There is also Suzhou Pingtan in the store. The environment is also good. I recommend everyone to eat there (see the 6th to 8th pictures for details).
Whether it is a holiday or Huayu, for the safety of the guests, takeout is not allowed to be delivered upstairs. They are all placed in the takeout cabinet downstairs of Huayu. It is also very convenient to take it. This is not a big problem.
Because the twin room I stayed in only had a stool and no sofa, I asked the room service to send a stool (the last picture), and we drank water very quickly, so we asked the room service to send water several times. They were very friendly and the auntie would deliver it immediately. I will stay here again next time if I have the chance, and I will also try to stay in Huayu."

"I purchased a pre-sale package that included tickets to Tinglin Garden, along with breakfast and dinner. The front desk service was excellent; they meticulously explained the different room types and provided the same great service, even for a pre-sale booking. They did their best to accommodate requests like a high-floor room and late check-out. Hearing that my child had a class, Tu Xinmin from the catering department thoughtfully brought yogurt and fruit for them. We're very grateful for this kind gesture. All the ladies at the front desk provided impeccable service. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but they offered delicious wontons, and the lady preparing them was very warm and friendly. The dinner included in the package featured items like salmon, conch, and even a mini hotpot – more than enough to fill us up! The staff were also very prompt in clearing tables. However, the hotel clearly shows its age. You definitely won't find smart home features in the rooms, though they do come equipped with a refrigerator, a small safe, and a bathtub. Parking was also convenient. Overall, if you're not picky about modern amenities, it offers excellent value for money."

The hotel is a standard star business hotel with a distinguished and calm lobby. This is my second time staying here.
The lady at the reception desk was still smiling. When she handed me the door key, she introduced me to the location of the restaurant for breakfast. They specially set up the ”** Room” to satisfy the current residents' hobby of poker and gambling in their spare time. This is more in line with the times. Advance together.
The hotel's service is timely, accurate, and thinks of what you need. This is why I highly recommend it.
I left my PAD in the restaurant while eating. After contacting me, I was told that it could be sent back to my room.
When I returned to the room at night, I not only received the lost and found notebook. I was also given a little surprise: the room attendant polished my muddy leather shoes until they were shiny.
Breakfast is also relatively rich, and the fresh meat is more delicious."

SSCTan (Malaysia)Our stay at Zhouzhuang Zen Yili was absolutely wonderful—a perfect blend of comfort, warmth, and convenience!
Taxi can dropped us off within 1 minute walking distance away from Zen Yili. Zhouzhuang ancient village entrance is just a few minutes walk from Zen Yili making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and activities. The peaceful surroundings of the homestay also added to the relaxing vibe.
The hosts, both husband and wife were exceptionally kind and gave us great local tips. They provided us more than enough fresh fruits, tea, biscuits and mineral water. I was surprised also that the room was with full mosquitoes nettings with even anti mosquitoes device provided if needed. During our stay the homestay and its surroundings ware without mosquitoes.
The room was spotless, with fresh linens and a cozy atmosphere. The bathroom was of five star standard for its fittings, and was very well-maintained.
Before we checked out, we were given delicious homemade biscuits out of their hospitality. They also arranged for us a reliable and comfortable pickup after checked out.
For the price, this homestay offered excellent value.
We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to couples, families, or solo travelers looking for a peaceful retreat in Zhouzhuang ancient village.

LlschungDuring our recent stay at this wonderful hotel, we were exceptionally satisfied with every aspect of our experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the hotel staff who came out to meet us at the scenic area entrance and assisted with our luggage. This level of service set the tone for our entire visit.
The hotel's décor is stunning, creating a serene and visually pleasing environment. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed, providing a restful haven where we enjoyed a comfortable night's sleep. It truly is a fantastic place to relax and unwind.
One of the highlights of our stay was the delightful afternoon tea, particularly the grain snacks which were so delicious that we requested the hotel staff to help purchase and courier some to Shanghai for us to bring home. Their willingness to accommodate our request added a special touch to our experience.
Breakfast at the hotel was another standout. The porridge, in particular, was so delectable that the hotel kindly gave us a pack of the rice used to prepare it. This gesture was much appreciated and spoke volumes about their commitment to guest satisfaction.
Overall, our stay at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable and pleasant retreat. If we return to this area, we will undoubtedly choose to stay here again.

SShanghaifeixiangdexiaomajuAn absolutely delightful B&B experience! The room was spotless and well-equipped. Its riverside location, nestled between the scenic area's entrance archway and the Twin Bridges, made it incredibly convenient for exploring, shopping, and sightseeing. Plus, it was wonderfully quiet at night.
In the evenings, I sat by the river on a comfortable lounge chair provided by the landlady (she even thoughtfully included mosquito coils!). I enjoyed a smoke and sipped tea in the cool breeze. The landlady's attentiveness was remarkable; she repeatedly offered to bring a thermos of hot water. Watching the tourist boats pass by, observing the diverse expressions of the visitors, and listening to the melodic songs of the sculling boatmen, I simply zoned out – it was incredibly relaxing and blissful!
Before I left, the owner even gifted me some small snacks. Having seen many other B&Bs and guesthouses while touring the ancient town, I can confidently say that after comparing them all, I'll definitely choose this one again for my next visit to Zhouzhuang Ancient Town.

GGuest UserWhen my best friend and I visited Zhouzhuang, we considered several guesthouses and ultimately chose Mulan, which is conveniently located near the Shen Hall ticket office. Its location is truly superb; once you're past the entrance, it's right in the heart of the ancient town, making it incredibly easy to get around. They also have an adorable little Corgi and a kitten – so cute! The owner, a lovely young lady, is incredibly friendly and welcoming. She proactively provided directions to the guesthouse beforehand and even met us at the entrance. The guesthouse's small garden is also beautiful and perfect for photos. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Zhouzhuang.

GGuest UserOne of our favorite places. Really a great stay. The lady who runs the place is super nice. Room had cool exotic decorations and furniture. The balcony was nice although not much to see but done roof tops.
Location is great. You have to pay 100 rmb to enter the city before you walk a few blocks to hotel. Right next to double bridge which is famous because of an old painting but otherwise no big desk. Indeed there were other double bridges and more picturesque bridges.
Only drawback was no breakfast at all. So you need to wander around and find a restaurant. We madd the mistake of ordering coffee from a coffee shop. Despite 35rmb - more expensive than in US it was just an automatic machine - not barista made, and couldn’t even taste much coffee. This has nothing to do with the hotel but it was a ripoff.
Another good thing about the hotel was they have another business of historical clothes rental with makeup and photography. It turned out great.

JJakobreuVery nice small hotel next to the canals of Zhouzhuang. Rooms are good and you feel like time travelling in old China with the traditional furniture and beds. Lovely owner who provided us with tips and lots of help when I lost my wallet in a Didi. You have to pay the entry fee to get to touristic area in which the hotel is located which was ¥150 p.p. during the day, it’s cheaper if you enter after 8pm so best to check with the host who is super lovely and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!
