Super near bus station, convenient for going to Arashiyama and Gion area. Rooms are clean suitable for female solo travellers

Cheap stay, can’t really complain for the price I paid, amenities was good, but the only thing was it was a bit messy in the room , not much storage places so everyone stuff was everywhere.

Loved this cozy and delightful capsule hostel. It’s just north of Nijo Castle and about a 15 min walk to the closest subway station. (Local not a JR Station) It’s about a 15 min walk from the Kyoto Palace and Gardens - just continue down the main road that fronts the premises. The deluxe cabin rooms are tucked away in the Basement level for additional quiet and privacy. There are multiple floors with capsule beds and shared bathroom facilities. There’s a laundry and common room on the 6th floor. Guests can grab all their essentials from the Family Mart or 7-Eleven just a 3 mins stroll from the front door. They also have ATMs and copying facilities. The staff are helpful and can speak reasonably good English. There is a wall of maps for major attractions close by. Loved the experience and will gladly recommend and return

Among the worst hostels I have stayed at. The night staff doesn't speak English. They do not allow a bed change when the one you are in is extremely noisy. Very inflexible. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Good location Good to stay easy to go everywhere

Yesterday, Sunday, August 24th, I made a reservation, but due to my mistake, I booked a ladies' room, even though I'm a man. The receptionist was rude, raising his voice aggressively at me on several occasions. The hotel is nice, and the lady who works Monday through Friday at night is very kind and attentive. However, the young man on duty at 5 p.m. that Sunday was completely uneducated and unprepared for hospitality. He even tried to laugh at my situation. I recommend changing that young man, who will only bring you more negative reviews.

They have a young man working on Sundays at 5 p.m. He seems to have problems with foreigners. He's very rude. They shouldn't allow people who aren't born with hospitality to work with them. My worst experience in Japan.If you want to save a bitter day and have a bad memory of Japan, come to this hostel where they place any unqualified person and perhaps with emotional problems.

Very clean and comfortable hostel. Especially the sleeping pods. Well rested for 3 nights

So grateful that the staff changed the room to a lower storey for me as the building didn’t have an elevator, I have to carry it up 4 storeys 😅 thanks for the help to carry the luggage too 🥹 location is in the quieter streets, just a 5-minute walk gets you to the bus stop that brings you to many touristy places hehe. Really like the amenities and the pleasant atmosphere in the room. Two separate toilets and shower rooms, also 4 separate basins for a 10-bedder dorm. Capsule space was spacious and enough privacy. There’s also a common place for working, eating and chilling on level 5, and the laundry room.

I like the place and it’s clean. And in the future I will decide to come back to stay.

Pretty clean. The location is decent, but some distance from the subway station - it’s a 22 min walk or some minutes on the local city bus. The service was good, with friendly staff. Amenities were not too great. The shower was amazing, but they did not have any lockers, so you had to keep the bag in the reception or in the capsule with you. They had washing machines and dryer.

Very good option for solo travelers. I booked a room type with the curtain. The bed is very comfortable, there is a small table, chair, mirror, safebox. The curtain is a stiff one, and can be closed with a key. But you need to understand that the walls are thin, and there are several types of such "rooms" in one space, everything can be heard as in ordinary hostel type

The hotel itself is OK. Maybe it seems a bit small btw, but if you need just a bed it's alright
