I’d booked my clients on the Main Street and couldn’t get myself in the same hotel… But God is always good and had better plans! This hotel is tuck away from the Main Street yet it’s close to the Main Street. Sandwich between 2 grocery market and opposite is a 100yen store. Couldn’t asked for more.

The hotel is located in Shijo, the busiest city center in Kyoto. It is very close to shopping malls such as Takashimaya. It is quiet in the bustling city and very quiet at night. The room is not big but the facilities are complete, especially the bathroom shower facilities are superb

Kyoto Hotel is really expensive and small, and the suitcases can't be spread out. The location is OK, there are many restaurants nearby, the hotel service staff is very friendly and speaks good English, and there is no barrier to communication. It's a pity that the room is too small, and toothbrushes and cleaning are charged extra.

I went to Fushimi Inari Taisha and walked back to the hotel directly. By the way, I enjoyed the scenery on the way. Then, opposite the hotel is a Michelin one-star Tonkatsu Ramen. On the left is a supermarket where locals buy vegetables. On the right is a 24-hour fresco. There is also a curry shop opposite. Anyway, everything is close. Although the room is not big, it is clean and tidy. All kinds of small items needed for life are provided. The hotel lobby provides various coffee, tea, and drinks for free. There are also various travel-sized equipment. Except for disposable toothbrushes, you have to bring your own. I like the bathroom the most. The Japanese toilet and shower are really amazing. The water is big and it feels so good after washing. The front desk speaks very good English. Check-in is very convenient. There is also a smoking room. I originally booked only two nights and paid extra to stay for one more night. I still think it's worth it. Recommended!

There is nothing wrong with it except that the room is small. The water flow in the bathroom is strong and it’s great to take a shower! I will stay here next time. It is only a few hundred meters away from Shijo Kawaramachi Station, just for convenience. Speaking of which, I turned left when I left the hotel and picked up a mobile phone. I navigated to the police station next to Shijo Kawaramachi Station and handed it to the police uncle👮♂️, hahaha, be a Lei Feng in Japan! 👍

The Inoichi Ramen opposite the hotel opens at 5.30, and you have to wait in line at 4.50, otherwise you may have to wait for a long time. It is not recommended to go to the 100-yuan small commodity store opposite. It feels like a 2-yuan store opened by Chinese people. Half of the items are wholesale from Yiwu Small Commodity Market. There is a Nobunaga bookstore not far away 200 meters away, which is very interesting. I won’t expand on it anymore, everyone understands it.

At the same time, there are many specialties nearby, and there are often many people queuing up when passing by. In addition, there are two supermarkets of different styles downstairs, and breakfast milk, hot spring eggs, sandwiches 🥪, fruits, nuts 🌰 can be solved downstairs.

The service is nothing to talk about, check-in and check-out procedures, the double bed in the hotel room is a bit small, the breakfast is the most unacceptable, cold lunch every morning, not worth the price
