Kyoto Minami Ward Hotels

First of all, thank you to the front desk staff who check us in when we encounter error on the self check in and gave us a free upgrade… ours was the compact room or something and was at a lower level, she upgraded us to a higher floor on level 7 with a view of the train station. Thank you for making our trip in Kyoto a memorable one. The room was big with a long sofa which we can sit and have our meals, enjoy the view and even put our large luggage. Will book again next trip to Kyoto. Sorry didn’t managed to ask for your name. Throughly enjoy my stay with this hotel and it’s pretty near to aeon mall and konbini stores. Thanks again!

I had a great stay at Kansei Hachijo in Kyoto. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, making check-in and everything else smooth and pleasant. The service overall was excellent—everything felt thoughtful and well-managed. The location is also a big plus—just a short walk to Kyoto Station, which made it super convenient for getting around the city or catching trains to other areas. No complaints at all. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located stay in Kyoto.

I stayed at a friend's homestay in Nakamosatori Japan when I was in Japan before and it was great. This time I experienced a homestay in Kyoto again. It was a very cozy homestay, very clean, and the facilities were pretty good. The transportation was quite convenient, and the surrounding buses were very convenient to several attractions. The most important thing was that I could cook Sukiyaki in the room. The black beef sold in the 24-hour supermarket recommended by the boss was great, much more cost-effective than what we ate in Kobe, and my family liked it very much. Next time I plan to stay a few more days to have a deep tour in Kyoto.

The B&B is located in a residential area next to ”East Temple”. The surrounding environment is very quiet, and most of them are occupied by locals. You can take a bus in about 10 minutes' walk. The key point nearby is the ”World Cultural Heritage List Toji Temple”, which is only a 5-minute walk away. The room is a traditional Japanese single-family apartment with two floors, with a total of three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a shower room (wet and dry separation), a living room, and an open kitchen. The rooms are all self-service, and there are no waiters to clean them. Therefore, special care and hygiene must be taken into account in the rooms. Garbage must be sorted and put into the trash cans.

This ”Sakura Suk ・ Yongcheng” is really great! The landlord was super enthusiastic. After booking, I added me WeChat, sent WeChat location and Google Maps location, and told me how to come from Kansai Airport. After arriving, we helped us plan the itinerary for free, recommended nearby supermarkets and delicious food, especially intimate! It rained heavily when I left, and the landlord borrowed two umbrellas, which was so heartwarming! Originally, I had to pay, the landlord said that I was very happy to help, and I didn't charge 🥹 This time I brought the two babies, parents and children should pay attention to the Japanese residential area at night is quieter, and those with children should let the children not be too noisy and not disturb others. It is a Japanese-style villa with stairs in the house. The bedroom is on the second floor. Children especially like it, but the elderly may be a bit hard to climb up. The bedroom is tatami mats, and children can roll around on it. Don't worry about falling down. Children like this feeling very much. This is basically what I think. In short, this homestay is really great, like the caring and lovely landlord, and highly recommend it to everyone! The facilities in the house are very complete and clean. The Japanese room makes you feel very relaxed You can take a long bath in the bathroom The bedroom is very comfortable and the tatami makes me sleep well. I really feel that staying for one night is not enough There is a supermarket nearby where you can buy some simple food and cook it yourself. We bought a bento and came back to heat it up Then I bought a small meal bag and microwaved it for breakfast the next morning. I spent a day on holiday🤫 I will really come back next time The landlady is a nice person and she also provided us with Kyoto travel guide. A very pleasant stay I will definitely come back to stay in Kyoto in the future. You can take bus 208 to and from Kyoto JR Station Really recommend!

It's great. You can immerse yourself in a Japanese B&B. The eel shop next to it is also very close, which is perfect for going back to eat when you are tired from shopping. It is a 5-minute walk from Toji Station and one stop from Kyoto Station. It is convenient for traveling to Osaka and the airport. The boss is also very enthusiastic.

# Hotel Review I recently stayed at this hotel and here are my impressions: ### Pros - **Clean and Comfortable**: The hotel maintained a high standard of cleanliness, and my room was very comfortable. - **Friendly Service**: The staff were welcoming and attentive, which made for a pleasant stay. ### Cons - **Limited Fitness Room**: The fitness room was somewhat lacking, featuring only three treadmills and one other piece of equipment. It requires some creativity to get a full workout. The breakfast was also good with super friendly staff. ### Conclusion Overall, I had a positive experience at the hotel. While the fitness facilities could use improvement, the cleanliness and friendly service made my stay enjoyable.

The hotel is directly opp the Kyoto main station. Convenient for travelling to all parts of Kyoto. The staff are very helpful . Level 2 has washing machine only payment by card . Dryer not strong though. Comfortable bed for twin stay . Managed to open up both large luggage. City buses to tourist spots are walking distance at bus station.

Very near to Kyoto Station hardly 100meter. Hotel integrated with a 7 eleven. From hotel entrance. Make two right turn to Kyoto Station. And make one left turn follow by a right turn for Don Quijote( Don don donki) Super convenient. And there's also a AEON mall 150meter away
