Stayed here for 3 nights. The check-in and check-out process was smooth. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was very cozy. I honestly don’t have much to complain about the room. The breakfast was good as well, and I enjoyed my stay overall. If there’s one minor issue, it would be the bathroom door, it was a bit annoying. And oh, there wasn’t any water given. Not a kettle as well. You’d have to bring your own bottle to refill at the reception or buy a water bottle for £3.25 at their vending machine.

We booked this hotel after searching for an ideal one for a very, very long time, and I am so glad we found it! Although the room was small and didn't have windows (both things were not a problem for us), it was very tidy and clean, and also had all of the amenities you could ask for (hairdryer, UK and EU plug, a USB entry, TV, a table and two chairs, three mirrors)! The bed was soft and confortable and the room was always warm but not too much. We also didn't hear much noise from the other rooms, so we always had a good night of sleep. The breakfast had many different and well-served options, such as bread, croissants and other pastries, cereal, pancakes and yogurts. Bonus points for the amazing and super polite staff, who were always eager to help and even served us breakfast before 7AM, in order to accomodate our needs. I know where I am staying next time I'm London! 😊

I checked into this London hotel on a busy afternoon and had mixed first impressions. While the room was relatively spacious for London standards and appeared clean overall, I was surprised to find an unmelted ice cream with stick in the toilet bowl when I lifted the lid. Fortunately, staff were nearby and cleaned it up very quickly, though it didn't make for the best welcome. The room was missing a hairdryer, but when I mentioned this at reception, they responded immediately and provided one without any hassle. The quick response from staff was impressive throughout my stay. What truly stood out was the bed comfort - hands down the most comfortable I've experienced across all my hotel stays. The mattress and pillows struck the perfect balance: not too soft or hard, not too low or high. I enjoyed excellent sleep both nights, which made a real difference to my trip. The breakfast offered good value for money. While not fancy, it provided everything needed to start the day well. The self check-in and online check-out processes were very convenient and hassle-free. Location-wise, the area felt quite busy and I'd recommend being cautious with personal belongings as it's not the safest zone in London. The walk toward East Aldgate feels noticeably safer than other directions. While Whitechapel station for the Elizabeth Line is only a 10-minute walk, that route can feel more complicated to navigate. Overall, despite some initial hiccups, the staff responsiveness and exceptional bed comfort made for a decent stay.

The studio is conveniently located at just a few steps away from the Aldgate East station. Eateries and local convenience stores are aplenty nearby so you need not worry about looking for meals at any hour of the day. Stay wise the room is clean and warm, but the space is rather limited so if you are bringing more than 3 luggages then it is advisable to go for the bigger rooms.

I have stayed at the Leonardo Hotel London Tower Bridge on several occasions, and it is by far my favourite within the Leonardo hotel chain. From the moment you enter, you’re welcomed by a beautiful, inviting aroma that immediately sets the tone for a relaxing stay. The rooms are consistently clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The amenities are excellent — the pool is maintained at the perfect temperature, making it ideal for unwinding. Breakfast is particularly impressive, offering a wide variety of delicious options to suit all tastes. The location is also unbeatable, making it a perfect choice whether you’re visiting for business or leisure. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying again.

Perfect location, right outside the metro. Easy checkin and checkout. Excellent breakfast with lots of options, and the restaurant menu is nice as well. Room is nice, but bathroom is small. Cleaningness wasnt the best, one of the days they didnt even take the trash out. But in general I would recommend and stay there again.

Very nice staff, very helpful. Breakfast buffet available, and when I needed to leave very early in the morning they provided me some cold food(croissants, muffins, oranges and hot coffee/chocolate). They also provide tooth brush/paste, shaving set, comb when asked at the reception. A couple of minor things: corridors are a bit hard to navigate for me, was not obvious which door leads to elevators, needed to read the signs after getting lost 😅. I am not sure but breakfast seems to be the same every day? On the second day of my stay eggs were not there, but the rest was the same, I guess. I loved the option that you can grab a cup of coffee/chocolate/tea with you to go after you finished your breakfast. Not sure about every room, but mine didn't have a refrigerator, but I remember in my other IHG hotel stay there was one. Also hearing is possible only via air conditioner, and the maximum temperature is regulated, as I understood. Otherwise very neet hotel, clean, friendly.

Great
GGuest UserMy main complaint was only booking for one night. A hotel with stunning views, 1000 amenities and amazing service. Upon arrival I was greeted with great service provided by the staff, who were all very helpful and friendly throughout the stay. On the ground floor you are greeted with amazing art work leading up to the escalators to reception, as well as a modernly designed lobby with plenty of seating and charging ports, and the restaurant/bar just on the left. The hotel was easy to navigate and had around 6 lifts which came very quickly and dropped us off to our 9th floor stop in around 30 seconds. Wow! We had booked the King’s Suite for our stay which ended up exceeding our expectations - Stunning views from the window which stretches all across the living room, a record player with records provided - perfect for music lovers such as ourselves. Ironing board, A Dyson air-wrap & hair dryer (for the girls) and very artsy decorations overall which match the atmosphere of Shoreditch/Hoxton area. A cocktail making station & coffee machine with coffee pods as-well. We had also received a “milk delivery” at our door with fresh milk which was so lovely. Spa access is included in the stay, a lovely heated pool which has stunning led lighted walls and calming frequency noises playing - to further play in to the relaxing atmosphere of the spa. Steam room and Sauna were also placed by the end of the spa which was nice. I loved it so much I woke up extra early the morning of check-out just to enjoy it one last time! And started my morning with a peaceful swim. However some people slowly started gathering around to do the same thing as well from around 9am, So I’d recommend the best time to be right after check-in (3-5pm) as it was completely empty and just refreshed. With all the pool towels reset and floor mopped clean. And a 24-hour gym which I would definitely recommend to go to at night for a late night session, as it was empty and had stunning views of the city. There was a good amount of equipment - at least one or two of each machine & it was quite spacious too so didn’t feel crowded at all. With gym towels & Water cups provided as-well. I do have a few very minor, nit-picky complaints, to mention. However I would like to say would not at all regard my overall positive experience of my stay and will to return : From the Cocktail making station - the shaker was completely sealed shut - although it’s an item that’s airtight sealed and needed pressure to open we had tried EVERYTHING - and with so much effort my partner had cut himself trying to open it , also no strainer was provided so we had quite seedy cocktails. Another minor issue was our milk frother machine was not cleaned and was still dirty from the previous user, a small and fixable issue but should be pointed out in case someone’s craving a nice cup of coffee and pours milk into a dirty frothier without their knowledge. And from the spa - the Sauna inhumanely hot - to a level that the stone floor was unable to step onto without slippers and wood seats unable to be sat on for longer than a second, whilst of course it’s a Sauna - the temperature was unbelievably high, at the max of the thermometer the wall. So was unusable for us. Overall, The hotel was the best place we could’ve chosen for our couples get away staycation. We had enjoyed ourselves too much we ran out of time to visit the art gallery & bar. Guess we just have to rebook again, with a longer stay of course.

AAnonymous UserWe stayed at the Wilde Aparthotel Aldgate Tower Bridge for two nights at the end of August and had a rather underwhelming experience. We expected more from this hotel, judging by its ratings online. As Coldplay was in town (our reason for visiting London), prices were higher than average. The hotel is a five-minute walk from Aldgate East and about eight minutes from Aldgate Station. Liverpool Street Station is technically in walkable distance aswell, though taking the bus there is easier, with a stop right in front of the hotel. I wouldn’t recommend walking to Whitechapel for the Elizabeth Line – the walk felt long, annoying, and unsafe. Also, avoid walking further down the road toward McDonald’s after dark – sketchy atmosphere, and we saw two police scenes within those five mins of walking. Walking to Aldgate or Liverpool Street is safer. The arrival was.. odd. No one greeted us, and we waited in the lobby for several minutes before someone finally helped us at a not-so-clean high table. The staff member seemed demotivated and spoke very quietly, though check-in was quick. Unfortunately, we were charged twice despite prepaying nearly a year earlier through a third party. This was resolved after I spoke with the manager, but I was surprised it was marked as a “user error” on our invoice, and no small gesture like waiving the early check-in fee was offered for the inconvenience. We were given a room on the 9th floor. The corridors are dim, with black walls and stuffy air despite it being just 22 degrees outside. The “triple room” is simply too small for three adults. The storage areas under the twin beds is smart, and there is a small wardrobe with two drawers, but oddly no safe to store your valuables. A table and chair cramped the room unnecessarily and looked cheap compared to the rest. The sofa bed was decent but had a pretty thin mattress and annoying metal railings that can be a little annoying when standing up / lying down; there was also no nightstand, only a photo shelf right above it where you really can’t put anything. The kitchen area becomes very narrow once the sofa bed is pulled out. The fridge and sink were great, but the bins were tiny and filled up after just one day. The bathroom was also cramped, with practically no counter space. No toothbrush cups, Q-tips, or cotton pads were provided – unusual for a 4-star property. The soap dispenser was nearly empty and even fell out of its holder, and none of the dispensers were secured/locked, which isn’t hygienic (most hotels have that nowadays, for a reason!). We didn’t know where to go with dirty towels as there was no designated spot for them and no space. The heated towel holder being *right* next to the toilet is weird and inconvenient. We had the AC running for hours & hours on end, yet it barely managed to cool down the room to an acceptable temp. At least it was quiet enough to keep on at night. The TV had few channels but casting worked very well. Light controls were fine, and the blackout blinds were excellent– also essential, since the windows aren’t tinted from the outside. On the positive side, the room was clean, beds were comfortable, and it was quiet at night despite the hotel being full. We skipped breakfast as there are better options near Liverpool Street Station that we wanted to try out. All in all, our first ever stay at a Wilde property was just okay. The location is central but not particularly the nicest, the staff lacked warmth, and the triple room was way too small for three adults. It should not be sold as a triple for three adults and would be better suited for parents with a small child. I imagine the higher room categories might do a better job of accommodating three adults. We had what we needed; a clean room with good public transport connections. However, we wouldn’t stay here again as there’s better options out there.

GGudemaolinMy stay at this hotel was absolutely delightful. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt a sense of warmth and comfort. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly, and the check-in process was quick and efficient. They even thoughtfully provided recommendations for nearby restaurants and attractions. The room itself was spotless and spacious, with a soft and comfortable bed and fresh, clean linens, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom was fully equipped with plenty of hot water and all the necessary toiletries, which was very reassuring. The hotel's breakfast offered a wide variety of options, both Chinese and Western, and everything was delicious, catering to different tastes. The overall environment was quiet and elegant, perfect for relaxation or business travel. What truly stood out to me was the professional and attentive service team. Whether it was bringing water, cleaning the room, or answering questions, I felt valued and cared for. I was extremely satisfied with this stay and will definitely choose this hotel again when I return to the city. I would also highly recommend it to friends and family.

GGuest UserPros: - Decently sized, standard layout and comfortable rooms. - Rooms are quite clean, service in general was nothing too special but gets the job done! - Convenient location near buses and metro to Central London / Oxford for a day trip, close to Westfield London which has great number of F&B outlets, supermarkets and shops. Cons: - Housekeeping was inconsistent; stayed for 6 days, everyday was missing something different, not being replenished in the room; could be tea, coffee, hand towels, tissue paper, toilet paper etc… had to keep calling for service every night throughout the stay. If housekeeping had set up the room in standard, hassle could be alleviated from all parties as it takes the housekeeping more than 20 minutes every time to bring the items. - Both toilet paper rolls were removed unexpectedly one night, even when we certainly left the room with them both in the morning which I find a bit funny as there wasn’t even a need to replenish - but simply removed. - Clock timing was incorrect 6 days throughout the stay and nobody clocked that nor changed it. - Slight wear and tear in the room but nothing too major affecting our stay apart from the bathtub glass panel seam being broken and water kept coming out of the shower. - Emergency alarms went off at 730AM with no explanation. - There was daily construction noise and one day the workers and equipments were all outside our room for a good 4 hours in the morning to afternoon time. Again, I don’t blame it because maintenance is important but a notice would be nice. Overall, I think the hotel gets its job done, the room and location were decent and comfortable. It’s the housekeeping and maintenance fell below expectations.

AAlison’s Silk Road TravelsI stayed in room 302 for two nights in January. The hotel was very easy to find from Ilford Train station and is a short walk. You can take the Elizabeth Line from Tottenham Court Road and it takes about 20 mins. The hotel is situated on the high street and has a lot of restaurants and nice shops. Lots of choice to eat. I had a very nice welcome at reception. Check in was easy. There is a really nice foyer with a cafe with nice cakes and snacks coffees. There is a lift. My room was really comfortable with a double bed and en-suite. The window opened. There was T and coffee available in my room. The bathroom was bigger than I expected. It was very clean. Carpet was comfortable. It was a comfy bed. Very clean linen and 4 pillows. There are sockets next to each side of the bed for laptops and phones to charge overnight. On the door to the en-suite was a nice big mirror, full length very helpful for us ladies. The room was good value. I had breakfast both mornings. I ate a vegan breakfast and vegetarian breakfast. There was hot food and a very good variety. The kitchen cooked me a delicious omelette with veg very nice. I’m not a vegan I just like to eat lots of veg. The buffet breakfast had a lot of variety olives, fruits, cheeses and sweet foods. There was plenty of fruits too. Hot milk was great I love it for my coffee. I really enjoyed staying here, great food and excellent value. Will definitely stay again in the future. The lady receptionist was very nice and helpful. I stayed at the Ramada hotel for a short weekend away to visit the museums and roam around the shops. There was plenty of cultural visits. I visited the Horniman museum, British Museum and the Petrie Egyptian museum as part of this trip. Not far from the hotel is a shopping centre with some interesting shops , TKMaxx and food shops. Everything was easy to get to.

2201675****The room was tiny, barely enough space to turn around, and once we opened our suitcases, they completely blocked the door. As for the shower, it was barely usable, just enough to get by. The upside is the incredibly convenient location. It's right next to Paddington Station and the tube, making it super easy to get anywhere. Hyde Park is just a few hundred meters away – perfect for a stroll through the park, enjoying the scenery, and feeding the pigeons. Buckingham Palace is only about a kilometer further. During the Christmas season, Regent Street is just four bus stops and a hundred-meter walk away. It was quite expensive, but that's London for you. It really depends on what you prioritize. If you just need a place to sleep that's well-located for exploring, it's a decent option.
