President Hotel

Location: Next to Russell Square, very close to the British Museum and Euston Station. It's about a 20-minute walk to Chinatown, which is quite convenient. I booked a double room on Trip.com, and to my surprise, I was given a room on the seventh floor. Then I was told there was a dedicated elevator for the seventh floor, which immediately raised a red flag. When I took the elevator, I realized it was an added-on lift, and you had to manually open the door at the top. The seventh floor is an extension the hotel built, as you can see in photo 2. London in August was very hot, and the room was incredibly stuffy, with only a small fan provided. Since it was peak tourist season in London during the summer, I paid over 900 yuan, and breakfast wasn't included. The room's facilities were quite old, and I found a lot of black hairs and dirt on the duvet cover. I had to call staff to change it. If possible, try to avoid rooms on the seventh floor. I don't know what the rooms on other floors are like, but if the price is over 1000 yuan, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The hotel offers free luggage storage.

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Russell Square. It's within walking distance to KCL, the British Museum, Trafalgar Square, and the National Gallery. Public transport (buses and the underground) is also very convenient. The room size is good, and it's well-equipped. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

The room was decent, and the location was excellent. If you don't need a large room, it's one of the best choices for visiting the British Museum. There's also a subway station near the entrance, and it's not too far to walk to the train station.

I booked a single room, hoping to experience what it would be like, but I wasn't very satisfied. The room was on the 7th floor, and the elevator only went up to the 6th, so I had to climb an extra flight of stairs with my luggage, which was exhausting and I even fell. The last time I stayed, I booked a double room and there was elevator access. The front desk service still needs improvement; they shouldn't neglect proper service just because my English isn't great. The only reason I chose them again was because they offer free luggage storage.

The hotel's location is pretty good, with food options nearby, though it's a bit of a walk from the train station. The room was decent, nothing special. The breakfast, however, was exceptionally good and very plentiful.

Awesome, clean, and stylish! The breakfasts were delicious, and the staff was very polite. A truly pleasant experience.

Pros: Very close to Russell Square station, just across the street, and also conveniently located about 7-8 minutes walk from the British Museum. The breakfast was good too; I had it for a week. Cons: The room was very small. For two people staying a week with one 25-inch suitcase, there was no space left after opening it. Since I had stayed here before last year, this was my second visit, and I brought my own disposable bedding. However, the carpet was very dirty, indicating insufficient daily cleaning.

Returned for another stay. The room was good, and the bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and it's close to the subway and bus stops.
