I came for a concert, and the hotel is right behind Niterra, so it was super convenient to just step out. It's also very close to Kanayama Station, which made shopping and getting to the airport easy. For Japan, the room size was decent and had all the necessary amenities. The lobby offered free coffee, and they even thoughtfully wrote a message for concert-goers.

I appreciate the thoughtfulness of receiving an email as soon as I make a reservation. It's very affordable, even though it's less than a 10-minute walk from Kanayama Station.
However, the facilities are commensurate with the price, and it's undeniable that the bath is extremely small and the walls are thin.
If it's cheap and suits your travel needs, it's a good choice.

nice hotel, good value for money. We were a group of five (3 adult and 2 children) stayed in a room with 3 bed. The hotel was located in front of Kanayama station, just 5 minutes train rides to Nagoya station. The facilities of the hotel was great, they had a coin laundry on the 4th floor near lobby. There were Family Mart located on the 1st floor. For moslem traveler there were halal kebab stores in front of the hotel. The breakfast was awesome, they served a wide variety of of food. The room was clean and tidy. The only negative aspect was the location of the air conditioner was in front of your bed, hence the airflow was directly hit your face. Definitely one of options when visiting Nagoya

Very near Kanayama station & easy to find. Just head towards North exit/entrance of station (you’ll see Tully’s coffee) & you can see the big signage on top of hotel clearly. McDonald’s & Family Mart right below hotel & Lawson next to hotel. Impressive spread of toilettries including sachets of makeup remover, face wash, lotion & moisturiser, show caps, hairband, thermal eye mask, toothbrush, shaver, comb, etc. Provide bottled water in addition to kettle. There’s also a mini fridge. Plenty of eateries & pharmacy around the hotel, including a small supermarket across the hotel. Buffet breakfast is decent too. Overall very comfortable stay.

The hotel is about a ten-minute walk from the station, which isn't far. Plus, they offer a complimentary shuttle bus that runs every ten minutes during peak hours, which is super convenient. The staff were very warm and polite. The room was quite spacious for a Japanese hotel, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful, though it was crowded, they refilled everything promptly, so I was very satisfied with the food. I love booking with the Tosei chain and will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Japan.

The hotel is nice and clean, and the staff is very friendly. But our choice of hotel wasn't very logical. We arrived from Nagoya to visit the Toyota Museum for a day and were leaving for Tokyo the next day. Overall, it ended up being a hassle to get to the hotel after the Shinkansen, then back, and then to the museum, which involved transfers. I then chose a traditional-style room for a change, but sleeping on the floor was a bit hard. The hotel is conveniently located near the train station. Those are my mistakes, not the hotel's.

The place was okay — a bit small, but overall manageable. The front desk staff were helpful and accommodating, which we appreciated.
However, we had an unpleasant experience with one of the crew members. A lady from the staff approached us to tell the children to close the door and keep their voices down, but her manner was unexpectedly intense. Her facial expression was angry, and her tone felt aggressive, as if she was ready to confront us rather than calmly address the situation.
We completely understand the need for rules and respect for shared spaces, especially regarding noise — but there are ways to handle it professionally and politely, especially when speaking to families with children. A respectful and calm approach would have made a big difference

This is an older hotel, and while it shows its age a bit, it's incredibly well-maintained and spotlessly clean. It's perfectly situated at Kanayama Station, one of Nagoya's major transportation hubs. Right outside, you'll find an art museum, convenience stores, and a wide array of restaurants. It offers excellent value for money.

The hotel has a new and an old wing. My discounted room was in the old wing, so the facilities were a bit dated. Nevertheless, the Meitetsu property was still very well-equipped with everything I needed, and it was spotlessly clean. Its proximity to Kanayama Station made visiting the aquarium very convenient. Excellent service during my stay! My luggage didn't make it on my flight, but the front desk staff not only helped me communicate with the airport quickly but also proactively considered my pregnancy and assigned a room close to the elevator, which was incredibly convenient. ZZhentianThe location is excellent, right outside Exit 4 of Hisaya-odori Station. The room is a typical Japanese layout, very small, but has everything you need and is super clean. There's a public bath on the top floor which is great for unwinding. It's very convenient for shopping, visiting Nagoya TV Tower, and buying Harbs cakes. Breakfast is decent, and you can even have unagi don. If you book this hotel for both the beginning and end of your trip, they offer free luggage storage, which is a really nice touch.

The room was compact, as expected in Japan, but thoughtfully designed and well laid out, making it comfortable rather than cramped. The bed was comfortable with clean, fresh linens; however, there was only one pillow per person, and it was quite thin. The toilet bowl was also slightly smaller than what some travellers might be used to. The overall design felt modern and calming, and we appreciated the small round table with two stools, which was handy for a quick meal or planning the day. The work area was practical and well organised, with essentials such as a kettle, hairdryer, and a small fridge neatly tucked away. The bathroom, while compact, was spotless and had good water pressure. Overall, Comfort Inn Nagoya Sakae offered a clean, efficient, and comfortable stay—an excellent base for exploring Nagoya without unnecessary frills.

LLi*****The hotel is conveniently located about a 10-minute walk from the JR station, with many choices of restaurants and few shopping malls nearby, making it a great base for exploring the city. The property feels very new and well-maintained. Our twin room room was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, which made for a very comfortable stay. The lobby is also impressively spacious, with plenty of seating areas to relax or wait comfortably.
One highlight was the gym — it’s well-equipped with modern, new machines, which is a big plus for those who like to keep up with their workouts while traveling. I also appreciated the daily freshly brewed coffee provided in the room, a small detail that made a big difference.
Overall, a stylish and comfortable hotel that I would happily return to on my next visit to Nagoya.

The other guests were very considerate, and the hotel itself was spotlessly clean. The lockers were surprisingly spacious, and there were plenty of large, well-maintained shower facilities. Plus, the location was incredibly convenient.

Right downstairs, there's a Lawson and a FamilyMart, plus a Matsuya fast-food restaurant. There were also several highly-rated restaurants nearby, but I didn't have time to try them!
It's about six or seven subway stops from Nagoya Dome, no transfers needed, and takes around 20-30 minutes, which is quite convenient!
The front desk staff were very friendly, but the check-in time is strictly enforced – only from 3 PM. There's a seating area nearby where you can wait, and breakfast is even included! Though I didn't actually eat it.
The room is small but has everything you need. It's perfect for one person, no big issues! If you're coming to the Dome for a concert, you might want to consider this place! 🫶🏻

There is airport transfer bus service to and fro near sakae station & bus terminal.
There are 7 eleven & family mart nearby & 24 hrs Yilan ramen restaurant right outside the hotel.
Some noise pollution cause is near the road & night entertainment place.
Overall, the place is nice & cozy.

Room size I booked is typical Japanese business hotel size, which is compact. Location is like 5-10 mins to Nagoya station, 5 mins to Aeon Mall, and 15 mins to Toyota Commemorative Museum (all in walking distance). Also they have supplementary coffee and soft drinks throughout the day at the breakfast hall until 11pm. You can heat up your food as there is a microwave there. A good hangout place with friends for night snack before hitting the bed.
