Langkawi Padang Matsirat Hotels

The room and pool are nice, general athmosphere is good. It is located at a junction with a few small shops. It is not really near anything. If you don't have a car, you would have to take a Grab to everywhere. My room was booked without breakfast and it seems they only provide breakfast if there are other rooms who have booked breakfast. Otherwise, no breakfast available and there are not really any restaurants nearby just a small roti place. So I liked the hotel itself, but if you don't have a car, the location is not so good. The lady behind the reception is very nice, the man might need a few hospitaluty classes.

The rooms are generally in line with the price requirements, cost-effective, there is a supermarket downstairs, breakfast is satisfactory, the front desk does not provide 24-hour service, check-out time is required, please inform in advance

Location is just nice can see on map according to own requirement. there is no access on beach.Hotel rooms are good , in condition. Wifi was under maintenance which was not mentioned while on booking. Staffs are very friendly and restaurant is only open for breakfast was excellent.

The location of the hotel is convenient — not too far from Cenang Beach and other popular tourist spots. Overall, the cleanliness of the rooms and surrounding areas was well maintained. Service-wise, okay. Most of the reception staff were friendly and helpful, but one male staff was quite impolite and seemed to be in a bad mood when I requested buggy service to my room around 11 + p.m. Facilities were limited. Several villas appeared old, abandoned, or not in use, which gave certain areas of the property a neglected feel. I would suggest a refurbishment to better align the resort with the expectations of a 4 star property. One of the biggest disappointments was the breakfast. At RM50 per person, I expected a wider selection and better quality. Unfortunately, the spread was quite basic and did not reflect the premium pricing of a 4 star setting. In summary, Ombak Villa is great for its clean environment and spacious grounds, but needs improvement in service consistency, facilities maintenance and food quality to justify its current rating and pricing. If I were to return to Langkawi, I would think twice about staying here again.

I stayed at this hotel recently due to missed flights and enjoyed the experience overall. The location is perfect, especially if you’re catching a flight. super close to the airport, and they provide pick-up and drop-off services, which made everything so convenient. The environment is calm and pleasant, and I genuinely loved the vibe here. However, I did hear some weird cranking noises at night, which made me a little bit difficult to fall asleep, it’s definitely spooked me a little bit LOLLL

Very basic hotel next to the airport that met our needs. Quiet, clean toilet, hot water, nice beds. Good that it had a cold n hot water dispenser at the lobby. Loved that it was quiet n not crowded.

The hotel looks like new to me. The staff is friendly. Atmosphere was great that time. Definitely will come back. Keep it up.

Amazing place to stay, the resort has all the facilities to offer a really relaz and quiet vacations. Despite some situation of the room, the support was fast and every hour.

Everything was perfect. Plenty of restaurants , very helpful staff very good breakfast This was my 3rd time to Berjaya Hotel and Resort before it was 4 star hotel now they have upgraded to the 5* Hotel & Resort. I like the rainforest chalets are very relaxable in a jungle itself. I request them if they can put extra handle shower or a small tap because sometimes you need to wash only feet, its not good to use the ceiling shower and get wet all body.,

Amazing place for kids! Everyone was so personable and hospitable and my 9yo felt comfortable wandering around the hotel on her own (especially as staff made the effort to learn her name!). She was so happy she wrote a thank you card to Creamy - guest relations extraordinaire :). The kids amenities are super cute and roti canai breakfast super yummy. The Peranakan restaurant super delicious and beautiful too!
