Nice hotel, cost-effective, small and clean, the shower room is quite big, but the sound insulation is not very good. After staying for a few days, I had to take taxis both in the morning and in the evening. There seemed to be a school opposite and there was a large green space.

Lovely hotel and excellent value if you can book it at the right time. Very luxurious for the price I paid. A little bit out on a limb for access into Leeds city centre but plenty of bars and restaurants in nearby Headingley. The main restaurant at the hotel is quite upmarket but the attached pub The Stables is excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

This was definitely a mixed visit. On arrival we were checked in quite quickly receptionist was firmly enough although the reception desk itself seemed more like an information hub then a check in desk so the initial walk in was a bit confusing for me and my partner who don't stay in many hotels.. the one main thing that I noticed in the reception area is just through a set of double doors towards what would seem to be a fitness studio with an overlook of the pool had a chair with quite a nasty looking stain picture included. On arrival into the room things seemed clean tidy and presentable although there were a couple of things that could have been better for example one normal sized towel and 3 hand towels wasn't great and 2 towels would have been better, the toilet roll was very basic and clearly the cheaper stuff which you wouldn't so much expect when staying at a village hotel, there was a tile missing on the bathroom floor with a questionable amount of dust and dirt inside and around this hole and finally the doorframe seemed to be hanging off pictures of this are included. We had a look at the restraunt menu and it's safe to day if you don't fancy a burger, salad or chicken wings you will have to make other arrangements as we did by visiting the local residence 74 cafe about a mile away where we had a lovely time great food and a reasonable meal price. The bar is quite an open space and at first a bit confusing as there are some cinema chairs and big tvs but only playing the news. We had a drink I'm the evening this was probably priced for the venue but at £15 for a single vodka and lemonade and a double whisky we decided on only one when we found out that the bar closed for residents at 11pm which we found a bit early as other places stay open for residents. Room service would have been an option but from what I read this finished at 9.30pm and the is no in room phone to order such. Sleep was comfortable and sheets were clean it was just very hot as the window barely opens, there was no fan provided and no aircon. The TV also says its an Internet TV but upon attempt of connection no services were available. This morning the hotel seemed alot calmer and relaxed, we weren't sure of the breakfast procedures at all so we just sat down and were asked our room number but my partner got quite frustrated as she is autistic and no clear instructions were given it took us a while to source out breakfast and when we did we noticed it was very limited consisting of mushroom scrambled egg starnge potato circles beans tomatoes sausage and bacon. Honestly for me hash Brown's and black pudding are staples of English breakfast and should always be included when possible but unfortunately they were unavailable. I was going to ask a staff member but only one was seen briefly. There was also a High table next to us that was very dirty and when the staff member went to clean she simply sprayed it didn't wipe it and moved on, this didn't seem very hygienic. Breakfast was very average the addition of streaky bacon and chipolata sausages as opposed to tradition thick sausages and back bacon seemed very odd and definitely not our cup of tea! Coffee was not good atall however they do have a starbucks with is great because we do enjoy it. The night receptionist seemed to keeping a very close on me without speaking I found this quite lntimidating as a hotel guest and would have preferred him to ask me any concerns he had other than staring at me until I awkwardly said hello in which he just smiled and looked away briefly until I did then followed me with his eyes towards the stairs and no doubt watched me on camera until I entered my room. Overall a fair experience perfect I guess if you just need a quick room and have to extra money to burn but not ideal for us so probably wouldn't return.

Not one of the better Premier Inns I’ve stayed at. Getting very dated and in need a a complete refurb. Situated a bit in the middle of nowhere, neither close to Leeds city centre nor the M1 and A1 . A comfortable and clean room but the choice a places to eat was limited to just the chain restaurant opposite. I booked at a very good price so can’t really complain as such. The usual rates are considerably higher and so not worthwhile

Very close to university of Leeds, in the plaza& sky plaza dormitory area under the US, life skills are perfect, downstairs is the Nisa convenience store, there are many Chinese food, eight treasure porridge, instant noodles, red oil noodles, a little walk There are large supermarkets like Morrison, as well as KFC and McDonald's, which is very convenient! The heating can be but not very smart, the room is large, the socket is complete, there is a typec socket outside the usb interface, which is very suitable for Apple people! I hope everything goes well in Leeds, find the house I like, and live happily!

The location was right by merrion centre- easy access to eateries and Morrisons (a convenience store chain). Overall rooms were clean, and also had a little touch of Yorkshire details in them. The rooms had no fridge but staff was helpful to help me store my food in their common fridge. Processes were fuss free, near the Christmas market, it was a blissful stay!

The experience was great until the electricity when off an hour after I used the oven/microwave in the evening - almost had dinner in the dark with my husband. Luckily, the Guest Service helped me quickly via WhatsApp. Another missing item was toilet tissue. I was only provided with one roll for 4 days stay. It forced me to purchase tissue with my own money.

Yyuanyuan.Good hotel but have bad experience. As I arrived at the hotel around 22:00 I booked a suite to have a quiet night but at around 4:00am I was woken up by a loud knocking on the door, I don't know how long he had been there, I was very disturbed to see through the peephole a drunken male in a grey blouse on the floor, he kept screaming and banging on the door next to a person in a pink skirt in front of my door , I was very scared and I called the front desk in a hurry and the front desk kicked him out. But I was mentally damaged, I was woken up at 4am by knocking on the door, I was in the hotel alone as a female and my personal mental state was seriously damaged, however the hotel did not give me any feedback either, this night was the worst night of my stay.

GGuest UserGood location next to train station - due to ongoing building works at the train station it’s easiest/quicker to get to the hotel near the entrance/exit closest to platform 16 (I ply found this out after walking the long way round 🤦♀️). Refurbished room was nice. Bath was small. Would opt for walk-in shower next time. Temperature too warm but staff provided a fan on request. Double bed fine for a solo traveller. Wouldn’t have been too comfortable for two. No radio in room or on TV which would have been nice. Robes, slippers, tea/coffee making facilities, iron and hair fro provided. Breakfast - good selection for hot and cold breakfast options. Would be nice to have better decaf coffee. Newly renovated lobby area was nice. Perfume smell wafted into breakfast room and was a bit overpowering at times. That being said the ground floor entrance doesn’t smell good (you’ll get over it) so I can see why this is needed. Newly renovated lobby/bar area is nice. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Overall I had a pleasant stay and I would stay here again as a solo traveller. If I was travelling with another adult we would require a larger bed to ensure a more comfortable rest/sleep so possibly an upgrade or a second room would be needed.

KK123The hotel is just opposite the train station, the location is good to eat any dishes and supermarket is very closed . Before we checked in , i requested connecting rooms but they said no connecting rooms. The hotel upgraded us to have executive rooms . It was appreciated. But they didn’t clean and tidy and refilled new towels everyday, the 2 nd day. The room keeping manager attitude was very bad, blamed me to disturb her schedule, asked her Warden to do extra bedroom 😅😅😅😅. The fact was that morning the toilet was blocked , tried to call at 1000 to ask somebody come up to check , since nobody appeared and warden was cleaning in next room. So I asked for assistance, the Warden is very nice and helpful, he informed her room keeping manager then cleaned and bumped my toilet After that the room keeping manager came up and blamed to the Warden in next room , I was very frustrated then she walked to my room door and complained to me . What kind of attitude she was . I called to the receptionist asked somebody explained and apologized but no news . But till now no one contacted me from the hotel. About the last day I need to took the earlier train to airport, I would like to get refund of 2 rooms breakfast but failed they said they can offer a padded breakfast to me . They did on time but with no hot coffee as I requested.😓🤷♀️

GGuest UserThe hotel benefits from a very convenient location, which is one of its strongest points. It was generally clean, but several issues negatively impacted our stay. Our first room was uncomfortably cold, with half the lights not working and a loose faucet in the bathroom, suggesting a lack of proper maintenance. After reporting the heating problem, we were moved to another room. However, it became clear that we were not the only ones experiencing this issue—other guests were also having their rooms changed due to cold temperatures. It seems that because the hotel is so large, staff may not have the time to check the heating systems in all rooms. Compounding this, the rooms tended to get very stuffy, making it hard to find a comfortable temperature. When we requested extra bedding because there were three of us but only two duvets provided, we were informed that housekeeping had none available. This was surprising and inconvenient, as basic bedding for all guests should have been ensured. The bedding, although washed, had visible stains on some sheets, detracting from the overall impression of cleanliness. Adding to the disorganization, the cleaning staff worked at very unusual hours. When we returned from dinner well after 10 PM, room cleaning was still ongoing, which was unexpected. Another frustrating issue was that one of the elevator call buttons (for going down) did not work, and no notice or sign had been placed to inform guests. This added unnecessary inconvenience and further highlighted a lack of attention to detail. Overall, while the location and basic cleanliness are positives, the hotel suffers from significant maintenance issues, inconsistent heating, a shortage of basic amenities like extra duvets, unusual cleaning schedules, and overlooked problems like broken elevator buttons. Addressing these concerns could significantly improve the guest experience.

CCaitlin WarriorI had wanted to stay in this hotel since I was a kid, so I was looking forward to a bit of comparative luxury after only ever using Travelodges and B&Bs. It may be my funny coloured hair and tattoos, but the security asked to see my room key repeatedly throughout our one night stay. Went outside to pick up some shopping- show keycard. Went to reception with an enquiry- show keycard. Popped outside briefly- show keycard. Return from night out, show keycard to enter hotel, show it to approach the lift, and again whilst waiting for lift. It was worse than Manchester airport security and made me feel very unwelcome. Which was a shame, as check in was lovely and we were given a room with a bath as requested, so I had high hopes. I won't bother in future, and will stay at a Travelodge, as it's clearly more my level

The heating system was on max and I could barely feel it, there was also a plug in heater in the room so the hotel obviously know it’s cold in there, but even the portable heater didn’t give out much warmth Room is dated but I expected that for the price, I just didn’t anticipate the lack of adequate heating
