Great location and very comfortable hotel, ideal for a stay in the beautiful city of Leipzig. Rooms were large, light and airy, with excellent coffee machine, large shower room and separate wc. Staff were very friendly and facilities were ideal. A minute from the stunning train station and a few moments walk to the main shopping area and a large selection of bars and restaurants. This hotel comes highly recommended for an enjoyable and hassle free stay. Although we didn’t have breakfast, it looked great.

The staff were very pleasant, the food excellent and the room very big and comfortable. A small point, but the toiletries were very nice. A small negative point was that I found it a bit strange to be asked for my vaccine passport in the bar ten minutes after I had had it checked at the front desk. This may, however, have to do with the local law.

Location is excellent, near both the railway station and the city center. Nothing that you need for a night or two is missing, but the styling and furnishing is really ”spartan”. And definitely ugly! If you can stand it, it must be considered as very affordable accommodation in the Leipzig city. The rooms are very simple in furnishing, but beds are ok (although rather small), well cleaned and there is even AC! Breakfast is cheap and with a surprisingly large selection. Very good! If you only need a place to sleep for a couple of nights, then this hotel is certainly an option!

The hotelbis unstaffed after 8pm without forwarding nor any indication upon late arrival of how to get in. The rooms are spacious, but It was not cleaned nor bed made up during my stay. The location is fine but foresee 20 to 30 min to get a taxi.

Whilst our studio apartment was a little smaller than we had expected, it was very-well kitted out, and gave an interesting view on the historic Wende mural across the street. Although served in a rather cramped ground floor area, the breakfast buffet was impressive and got us off to the right start for seeing the city: central Leipzig is compact, architecturally fascinating and full of life. Highly recommended all round.

We arrived late and caused a disguise and a big liar by the group accompanying the hotel's owner. The holder was, in my opinion, too friendly, as well as the family and the city's leadership. Nice rooms with simple equipment but large and clean. Breakfast minimalist but sufficient for the price. Gifts little to make. The TV should connect to the Internet therefore only 2 channels because the connection has not been successful. Very noisy in the house since youth hostel. Mask obligations are not implemented, that has disturbed us massively.

In general a decent hotel, however our AC was not working in the room and given our late checkin (11:30pm) nobody answered the phone when calling reception multiple times, which was very disappointing. We could occasionally also smell cigarettes from the ventilation system. Breakfast was alright. Without the issues it’s a quite decent hotel.

Great value for money. Needed a hotel for a quick stopover along the autobahn and ended up choosing Campanile airport hotel. Really happy with our choice; clean rooms with bunk beds for the kids and a great breakfast for a great price. Convenient parking as well to a subsidized price for hotel guests. Location is a bit off, but if you’re looking for an airport hotel or a hotel along the autobahn look no further. Note that they don’t have a restaurant so make sure you bring food with you, or eat in advance - options at the airport is limited and very expensive.

GGuest UserDue to a cancelled flixbus, we arrived at the Hyperion Hotel at 1 am dead tired to leave the next morning early. The checking in process was sluggish and the hospitality of the guy that helped us was not so kind. Finally we got the room but Immediately after we arrived in the room we got a message from flixbus that the bus would leave in 10 minutes. We immediately rushed back downstairs and the receptionist who had checked us in 10 minutes earlier. He assured us that no money would be deducted and he would send me a confirmation via e-mail - which I did not receive. Now, almost a month later, I see that the amount has been debited anyway. Since I thought there should be a mistake, I e-mailed for clarification. After several calls and emails I finally I got someone on the phone telling me that the bed was ”used” and they could therefore not resale the room that night. This simply is a lie, there was no time at all to use the bed. After several attempts to get in contact now the manager offered us a 50% refund. What a sad policy, where I should pay for the false promises of this hotel. This kind of business is ruining a nice city like Leipzig. Making profits on the backs of poor students, if that is really your business idea then you deserve to get an honest review: I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

GGuest UserEasy process from start to finish. Bar/reception staff were very nice & professional. Room was clean and had great features (charging port for electronics in a locked cupboard area). The bunks had Curtains for privacy and to stop light. Room was maybe a little too warm/hot - could’ve just been me. Quiet sleep that night which was perfect. Bar on site was small and cheap good beers

GGuest UserIn my business I see a lot of hotels, and I get to compare various properties within the same family. The Marriott in Leipzig deserves to be singled out for multiple reasons. First, the hotel makes it a point to recognize I'm coming and to treat me like they're happy to see me when I arrive. The location in the city center is one of the most picturesque I've seen, with multiple things to see and do within walking distance. One of the most spectacular train stations in Europe is right across the street! There are multiple restaurants and street venders scattered around the city center area, but if you don't want to leave the building the breakfast this hotel puts on is the best of any place I go.

GGuest UserNice room (on the 6th floor - my wish granted) with a great view for me, big room with 2 extra beds for the family, very friendly table, charming little bar, breakfast in the cosy, big lounge (with huge windows and a great view, too), everything clean and efficient. An excellent Motel One experience. This house is one of my favorites (and I am a frequent traveler, for business and leisure).

GGuest UserThis very sad hotel stuck in the 90’s was very disappointing . The hotel staff were friendly, but one couldn’t tell the staff from guests apart, because they didn’t wear a uniform or have name badges on. The room was very dark. Dark old rug, very dark wooden closets that were way to large for the room. That dark furniture had seen better days and the bed wasn’t comfortable. The bathroom a nightmare. The shower was old and dingy, black spots of mold between the grout. The soap dispenser was over 1 meter away from the sink. Very nerve racking. The breakfast buffet was somewhat disappointing. There was almost everything available, but the long lines at the 1 coffee maker wasn’t an ideal situation. After 1 week , I was happy to leave.

TtorinessThis property is in a great location in central Leipzig. An easy 10 minute walk from the central train station. Apartment was massive, modern, secure and very clean. No air conditioning though and we stayed in middle of summer - the room was very hot even with the plug in fan provided we were a little too warm. Also getting the access to the room is a little complicated but once we managed to get the information about how to check in (is all online), it was good. I would recommend staying here and I would stay again.

GGuest User4 of us had two rooms for one night for the football. The hotel is in an amazing location, close to the train station and main square including pubs. Staff were very friendly and rooms are fantastic. For the money paid it was a great option. Rooms are modern and fresh with great bathrooms. If ever back in Leipzig we will be sure to stay again.

GGlennWas stranded at the door step and was unable to get into. Ring up the given number and there's no one picking up.
A kind soul, happen to be unit neighbour helps us out. Manage to contact them and realise that they DIDN'T email us the necessary documents and password inorder to gain access into the unit.
Imagine what what if this happened on a late night. Very nervous and bad experience despite all the pros about this unit.

GGuest UserThe location was perfect and the price was suitable for me. There was enough USB and power outlets for everyone. There was also a mirror and a place to hang clothes (e.g. jackets). There were also a fewer hangers than the people in the room but it was ok during my stay; only one other person and myself used them. There were also 6 locker compartments, which was very useful, but you have to buy your own lock. You can buy it from the lobby but in my case they were out of stock so I bought from Rossman, and thankfully I still had time to get one before they close. So, it's better to buy your own lock and use it in your travel. However, being in an 8-bed room with others meant that the toilet was not always clean because of different people using it, having different standards, and the smell in the room was not very good and needed ventilation and something to protect others when someone in the room is sick. So, I would suggest putting leaflets and using controlled rules. Also, the one who used the bed before me has left the pillow and blanket unorganized and with his own dirty cover, so I had to remove them and tidy them before putting mine. I believe, these should be cleaned and tidied up before me. Also, the heater's knob had no numbers so I couldn't know on which level it is. Also, the attitude of the first person I met at the reception desk was not very good at the beginning, but afterwards I didn't have to talk deal a lot with them. I wouldn't recommend a&o's App for usability, but I used to check-in while on the way. However, when I arrived, it was difficult to use the self check-in terminal. It prints a paper with my room number asking me to confirm it, but how do I know the room number in the first place before checking in?? also, whoever used it before me had not taken his printed receipt, so when I had to take the paper, I took also this receipt, with amounts that are not mine, so it was confusing. When I went to the reception clerk and asked him, he first misunderstood and started the checkin based on that wrong receipt. When I started to notice that, I told him (again) that this receipt is not mine, so he asked me (with quiet frustration) ”then why are you showing me this?” and then asked me for my ID to proceed with my check-in. Of course, it feels very bad when he blames me, but also they should be better listeners and need to pay attention to the usability of the self check-in scenario in the App as well as the terminal.

GGuest UserIf you are looking for a good hotel in Leipzig, then this is not the place for you. WiFi connectivity is an absolute joke, certainly does not cater to international tourists as pretty much all the TV channels are in German. The most basic of rooms. Glad this was for only one night
