Modern hotel with all standard amenities right next to center of town in Leipzig . Handicap accessible with large elevators. Big rooms with king size beds,small table and 2 chairs. Free water and pop in the mini fridge, safe in room. Shower is odd, it has translucent glass that is visible from the side of the bed. Some rooms have the shower door open up right into the bedroom. Shower also does not have any shelves for your personal products, making it really hard. We had a shower plumbing backup which the fixed quickly. We were able to get the last spot in the garage, it is quite small but does have 3 electric charge bays. parking can be a challenge. Front desk spoke fluent English

The Arthotel is directly bordering Primark and you don't have it far from the Bruhl or railway station or market. It is modernly furnished, as the name already suggests. Good that this is also expressed in a board stick instead of a box, not everyone likes. Our room was oriented to the street and had a huge glass front. The bathroom was very clean, had a flat shower and beautiful large flats on which otherwise is saved in hotel baths. The reception was very friendly and gave us a room before the time. I had concerns about breakfast - obviously a permanent theme in the reviews. It is either done in the meantime or the claims are different. I would classify it as something above the average. Two service staff are responsible for the care at breakfast. Whether the box is cleaned between and even wiped away depends on who is in service.Today (11.04) was a good day... 😀 It is important to emphasize that the coffee machines are available to guests all day. The arrival by car is a bit difficult. Recommended, due to distance and price, the parking house on the west side of the train station.

The staff were very pleasant, the food excellent and the room very big and comfortable. A small point, but the toiletries were very nice. A small negative point was that I found it a bit strange to be asked for my vaccine passport in the bar ten minutes after I had had it checked at the front desk. This may, however, have to do with the local law.

Whilst our studio apartment was a little smaller than we had expected, it was very-well kitted out, and gave an interesting view on the historic Wende mural across the street. Although served in a rather cramped ground floor area, the breakfast buffet was impressive and got us off to the right start for seeing the city: central Leipzig is compact, architecturally fascinating and full of life. Highly recommended all round.

Location is excellent, near both the railway station and the city center. Nothing that you need for a night or two is missing, but the styling and furnishing is really ”spartan”. And definitely ugly! If you can stand it, it must be considered as very affordable accommodation in the Leipzig city. The rooms are very simple in furnishing, but beds are ok (although rather small), well cleaned and there is even AC! Breakfast is cheap and with a surprisingly large selection. Very good! If you only need a place to sleep for a couple of nights, then this hotel is certainly an option!

We stayed at Felix in June 10-13, 2023. We had never been to Europe before so we were unsure how to navigate Germany at first. We took a taxi from the airport, it worked well, but now we know we could have easily taken the S5 or S5X to get there. The apartment was lovely with a firm but comfortable bed. There was a large TV and we hooked up our firestick. There was a fabulous view of the university and we were directly across from the opera house. It was easy walking distance to the city center and Bachfest venues. There was an Edeka grocery store around the corner. It had many American snacks as well. We bought eggs and produce there. It was really convenient! There was a long bench under the window which was great for laying out all our things! The kitchenette had a small fridge, two burners, and a microwave. The bathroom had a bunch of shelves for all our stuff, which we used. The shampoo/body wash smelled so good. The shower has a hand held portion and was roomy for two. We used the communal laundry room while we were there. It was set up to use the WeWash App and we found it easy to use. Overall this property was perfect for our stay.

Great location and very comfortable hotel, ideal for a stay in the beautiful city of Leipzig. Rooms were large, light and airy, with excellent coffee machine, large shower room and separate wc. Staff were very friendly and facilities were ideal. A minute from the stunning train station and a few moments walk to the main shopping area and a large selection of bars and restaurants. This hotel comes highly recommended for an enjoyable and hassle free stay. Although we didn’t have breakfast, it looked great.

Due to a cancelled flixbus, we arrived at the Hyperion Hotel at 1 am dead tired to leave the next morning early. The checking in process was sluggish and the hospitality of the guy that helped us was not so kind. Finally we got the room but Immediately after we arrived in the room we got a message from flixbus that the bus would leave in 10 minutes. We immediately rushed back downstairs and the receptionist who had checked us in 10 minutes earlier. He assured us that no money would be deducted and he would send me a confirmation via e-mail - which I did not receive. Now, almost a month later, I see that the amount has been debited anyway. Since I thought there should be a mistake, I e-mailed for clarification. After several calls and emails I finally I got someone on the phone telling me that the bed was ”used” and they could therefore not resale the room that night. This simply is a lie, there was no time at all to use the bed. After several attempts to get in contact now the manager offered us a 50% refund. What a sad policy, where I should pay for the false promises of this hotel. This kind of business is ruining a nice city like Leipzig. Making profits on the backs of poor students, if that is really your business idea then you deserve to get an honest review: I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great value for money. Needed a hotel for a quick stopover along the autobahn and ended up choosing Campanile airport hotel. Really happy with our choice; clean rooms with bunk beds for the kids and a great breakfast for a great price. Convenient parking as well to a subsidized price for hotel guests. Location is a bit off, but if you’re looking for an airport hotel or a hotel along the autobahn look no further. Note that they don’t have a restaurant so make sure you bring food with you, or eat in advance - options at the airport is limited and very expensive.

The holder was, in my opinion, too friendly, as well as the family and the city's leadership. I had German dinner (as few) and varied, spacious and fresh room. Superlative breakfast. GGuest UserIn general a decent hotel, however our AC was not working in the room and given our late checkin (11:30pm) nobody answered the phone when calling reception multiple times, which was very disappointing. We could occasionally also smell cigarettes from the ventilation system. Breakfast was alright. Without the issues it’s a quite decent hotel.

The bunks had Curtains for privacy and to stop light. Room was maybe a little too warm/hot - could’ve just been me. Quiet sleep that night which was perfect. The Townhouse Leipzig was one of our favorite hotels on our recent Germany and Austria vacation. Set in the heart of Leipzig within one of the oldest Rennaissance buildings in the city, the Townhouse is next door to the Bach Museum and steps away from Thomaskirche and the iconic statue of the great composer. Our top-floor room looked directly out on Thomaskirche and the Bach statue. Upon entering the hotel for the first time, we were impressed by the beautiful style and creativity of the unique decor and lighting, the charming furnishings, and the friendliness of the staff. Our spacious suite was spotless, had a kitchenette, comfortable couches, a nice flat-screen television, a large modern bathroom, quality linens and pillows, and a warm, welcoming message from the staff. Above the king bed was a large reproduction of one of Bach's cantata manuscripts. The windows opened up onto a stunning view of Thomaskirche and the surrounding city. The Townhouse Leipzig offers free high-speed Wi-Fi, a laundry service, a fitness area with workout equipment, a sauna, and a library! The restaurant provides excellent buffet breakfasts. We found several excellent restaurants within easy walking distance, including Johann S Restaurant & Bar a few steps from the hotel. The front desk staff were so helpful assisting us throughout our stay, looking up museum times and tram routes and schedules for us. The rest of the staff throughout the hotel and restaurant were friendly, helpful, and very professional. The price was surprisingly affordable, given the location and the quality of hotel, and the surrounding area was quiet at night. We loved being wakened by the Thomaskirche bells in the morning. The one minor inconvenience is the lack of on-site parking—not surprising given the unique location—but they offer a convenient unloading and loading area for luggage, and we found easy parking adjacent to Thomaskirche a two-minute walk from the hotel. I would not hesitate to recommend this excellent boutique hotel to anyone visiting the city center, and if you're in Leipzig on a Bach pilgrimage and need a great place to stay, look no further.

An excellent Motel One experience. This house is one of my favorites (and I am a frequent traveler, for business and leisure).

TtorinessThis property is in a great location in central Leipzig. An easy 10 minute walk from the central train station. Apartment was massive, modern, secure and very clean. No air conditioning though and we stayed in middle of summer - the room was very hot even with the plug in fan provided we were a little too warm. Also getting the access to the room is a little complicated but once we managed to get the information about how to check in (is all online), it was good. I would recommend staying here and I would stay again.

GGlennWas stranded at the door step and was unable to get into. Ring up the given number and there's no one picking up.
A kind soul, happen to be unit neighbour helps us out. Manage to contact them and realise that they DIDN'T email us the necessary documents and password inorder to gain access into the unit.
Imagine what what if this happened on a late night. Very nervous and bad experience despite all the pros about this unit.

GGuest UserThe location was perfect and the price was suitable for me. There was enough USB and power outlets for everyone. There was also a mirror and a place to hang clothes (e.g. jackets). There were also a fewer hangers than the people in the room but it was ok during my stay; only one other person and myself used them. There were also 6 locker compartments, which was very useful, but you have to buy your own lock. You can buy it from the lobby but in my case they were out of stock so I bought from Rossman, and thankfully I still had time to get one before they close. So, it's better to buy your own lock and use it in your travel. However, being in an 8-bed room with others meant that the toilet was not always clean because of different people using it, having different standards, and the smell in the room was not very good and needed ventilation and something to protect others when someone in the room is sick. So, I would suggest putting leaflets and using controlled rules. Also, the one who used the bed before me has left the pillow and blanket unorganized and with his own dirty cover, so I had to remove them and tidy them before putting mine. I believe, these should be cleaned and tidied up before me. Also, the heater's knob had no numbers so I couldn't know on which level it is. Also, the attitude of the first person I met at the reception desk was not very good at the beginning, but afterwards I didn't have to talk deal a lot with them. I wouldn't recommend a&o's App for usability, but I used to check-in while on the way. However, when I arrived, it was difficult to use the self check-in terminal. It prints a paper with my room number asking me to confirm it, but how do I know the room number in the first place before checking in?? also, whoever used it before me had not taken his printed receipt, so when I had to take the paper, I took also this receipt, with amounts that are not mine, so it was confusing. When I went to the reception clerk and asked him, he first misunderstood and started the checkin based on that wrong receipt. When I started to notice that, I told him (again) that this receipt is not mine, so he asked me (with quiet frustration) ”then why are you showing me this?” and then asked me for my ID to proceed with my check-in. Of course, it feels very bad when he blames me, but also they should be better listeners and need to pay attention to the usability of the self check-in scenario in the App as well as the terminal.

Das Zimmer stank nach Abfluss, nach eine Nacht has ich mich beschwert, das Zimmer stinkt, die zwei Leselampen am Bett nicht funktionieren. Die Lampen waren repariert aber das Zimmer stank zwei Nächte immer noch nach Abfluss. Am letzten Tag hat Fernbedienung vom Fernseher nicht funktioniert. So ein schlechtes Hotel würde ich nie wieder buchen! Ich würde allem abraten hier zu buchen This terrible hotel is rare. First of all, the room smells of sewage and makes my head hurt.
