Hotels Near Park an der Etzoldschen Sandgrube in Leipzig

Good location near the town and tram stops. Rooms were very big. The staff were very helpful with advising on trams etc to visit the sights. The gym was good as well. Breakfast was nice with a wide selection

Fantastic Motel One Standard, how to get it used to. 👍🏼 The rooftop bar is sensationally beautiful with great views of the house of laundry, opera and the old town. Nice and previous service. 🍹 The location of the hotel super, also in the hotel's own deep garage there was room. Otherwise the Q-Park Augustus Square is directly opposite. 🅿️ At breakfast a large selection of fresh (bio) products and a beautiful relaxed atmosphere. Check in and out also uncomplicated, as always super.

The hotel I booked as a hostel on the last day of my business trip to Germany.. It was closer to the city center than I thought, so I was able to have dinner at a good Italian restaurant even if I arrived late in the evening. The only downside is that I booked because I have a hotel dock, but the parking lot is full, so I parked in a nearby public parking lot. The hotel has a good view and is well maintained. Breakfast was good

Location is excellent, near both the railway station and the city center. Nothing that you need for a night or two is missing, but the styling and furnishing is really ”spartan”. And definitely ugly! If you can stand it, it must be considered as very affordable accommodation in the Leipzig city. The rooms are very simple in furnishing, but beds are ok (although rather small), well cleaned and there is even AC! Breakfast is cheap and with a surprisingly large selection. Very good! If you only need a place to sleep for a couple of nights, then this hotel is certainly an option!

Location is just across the hbf, though a little walking is needed. Breakfast was ok, but not too extensive . No machine coffee available . Reception was friendly and helpful, but can get slow due to many guests at the same time. It’s not actually a Marriott hotel level as other countries.

We arrived late and caused a disguise and a big liar by the group accompanying the hotel's owner. The holder was, in my opinion, too friendly, as well as the family and the city's leadership. I had German dinner (as few) and varied, spacious and fresh room. Superlative breakfast. If I return, I would choose this hotel again. Arrivederci da Friuli Venezia Giulia. Lucia Floreani

My stay at the Westin Leipzig was okay. They did a half-renovation, but it leaves the hotel feeling dated still. What do I mean? I used Marriott Suite Night Awards to upgrade to the Executive Suite. For some strange reason they did not renovate the foyer area of the room, which had some ugly granite that contrasted starkly with the nicely renovated bedroom, bathroom and separate living area. None of the door hardware was updated, so they’re brass while bathroom hardware is chrome. There was a random frame in the foyer with nothing in the frame. They replaced the carpet in the hallways, but the wall treatment looked like someone wiped their greasy hands all over - likely something that was a trendy look in the 90s. The fitness/spa area is in serious need of an updated, felt like a warp back in time to the 70s. Lines were long at check-in even with the front desk fully staffed, seems like their was a conference so that is understandable. However, the agent assisting the Elite line that I was in just walked away with saying anything, so we had to merge with another line and wait even longer. There was no in-room coffee at a 4-star hotel and my first morning I went down to the breakfast area to get a coffee to-go. One bottle of 4.5€ water available in the room - I got two free bottles when I stayed at the Moxy in Dresden. Bed was quite firm and was two twin mattresses pushed together. Bed at the the Moxy was way more comfortable. Blackout curtains didn’t overlap, so woke up every morning at 5am as soon as the sun came up. It looked like the rug in the living area hadn’t been vacuumed as you could see shoe prints all over from the previous guest. There’s a nice Bose stereo in the room but the wireless remote had a dead battery rendering the stereo useless. The neighboring room obviously has an option to be adjoining but the door provided minimal soundproofing and your neighbors might as well have been in the same room. Breakfast was standard fare, nothing to be excited about. The first morning no one stopped by to ask for my room number so I just left. As a Bonvoy Elite member you do have the option to get a free drink in the bar, the guy at the bar was easily the friendliest staff member I encountered.

Nice rooms with simple equipment but large and clean. Breakfast minimalist but sufficient for the price. Gifts little to make. The TV should connect to the Internet therefore only 2 channels because the connection has not been successful. Very noisy in the house since youth hostel. Mask obligations are not implemented, that has disturbed us massively.

This very sad hotel stuck in the 90’s was very disappointing . The hotel staff were friendly, but one couldn’t tell the staff from guests apart, because they didn’t wear a uniform or have name badges on. The room was very dark. Dark old rug, very dark wooden closets that were way to large for the room. That dark furniture had seen better days and the bed wasn’t comfortable. The bathroom a nightmare. The shower was old and dingy, black spots of mold between the grout. The soap dispenser was over 1 meter away from the sink. Very nerve racking. The breakfast buffet was somewhat disappointing. There was almost everything available, but the long lines at the 1 coffee maker wasn’t an ideal situation. After 1 week , I was happy to leave.
