The room is very good and clean, with complete facilities. The tea is also great. The hair dryer is from Dyson. There are 3 kinds of drinks. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry. The scenery outside the window is also the focus of looking directly at the Potala Palace. The hotel staff are very helpful, with laundry service, free fruits every day, and a great breakfast that combines Chinese and Western styles.

The facilities are complete, the heating is sufficient and there is a free parking lot. It is very close to the Jokhang Temple and the Potala Palace. It is hygienic and clean. The girl Yangji at the front desk has a very good service attitude. It is worth staying.

We stayed at the Shangri-la after a week of being in Tibet. It was a nice change from the more Chinese style hotels we had stayed in and was ideal for the night before our flight out. The rooms are great and we booked one with a bath. The shower was very powerful and hot. The breakfast buffet was, by Chinese standards, decent for western options and the evening buffer was good for approx 200rmb/person if you're in need of more western options. The big plus for me was the gym. Decent by most hotel standards and had a good mix of resistance machines, cardio and free weights (mainly dumbbells of up to 20kg plus a pair of 27.5kg). The only thing missing from the gym really is a squat rack but otherwise very good. Would stay again.

Great hotel, large room (was upgraded for free to Suite), clean. Marshal at reception was friendly and attentive. Large variety at breakfast, although the western options are still slightly limited. Would be nice to have greek yoghurt and more cereal choices. Chinese options are great. Joy (waitress at breakfast) was very good and deserves a mention!

The room was clean and the parking lot was spacious. I am not good at parking, so there are dedicated parking attendants. The front desk service was very good, and they upgraded our room. I renewed my reservation twice, which means I stayed in Saikang for all the seven days in Lhasa. The location is very good, right in the middle of the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Ramoche Temple, and Barkhor Street. These attractions can be reached on foot. There is a People's Hospital behind it, so it is convenient to see a doctor in case of severe altitude sickness. The hotel's service, room facilities, and buffet breakfast are all quite good. There is diffuse oxygen supply, which is much better than the oxygen concentrator. There is also a humidifier. The service and buffet breakfast are all good. The only thing to mention is that I don't know if it is the cleaning staff's lounge or warehouse opposite our door. On the last night, the intermittent talking, answering the phone, and walking in and out were a bit noisy, and I couldn't fall asleep very late. I hope you can pay more attention. The service staff are usually very hard-working and have a good attitude, so it is still a five-star praise.
